Jace Anthony Salon is a hip and soulful multi-​cultural hair studio located in the historic Shepherd Park district of Washington, DC. At Jace Anthony, our professionally trained stylists focus on getting and keeping your hair healthy hair while creating sophisticated styles appropriate for brokering power deals, jet-​setting to your favorite island, or a private dinner with the family.

Our boutique salon features 3 chairs in an uplifting and friendly atmosphere, making sure that you are treated with great service. At Jace Anthony, we specialize in color treatments such as double process and full or partial highlights. We also provide services in cuts, styling, conditioning and relaxing. In addition, as one of the pioneers of loc cultivation in the DC area, we specialize in dreadlocs for all ethnic backgrounds.

History

Established in 2012.

Jace Anthony Salon first opened its doors in 2012. After being in the industry since 1993 and working his way from assistant to master stylist in many well-​known salons, owner Chris Willis decided to step out on his own and open Jace Anthony Salon. Since opening, the salon has gained a great reputation among the community as a leader in color treatments, cuts, and loc cultivation and maintenance.

A master stylist for over 17 years, Christopher Willis has travelled throughout the country working with clients of all ethnicities to make them feel beautiful inside and out. Chris studied under master stylist Zaki Saleh of Saleh’s Hair Studios and perfected his precision cutting skills and the art of coloring while working at Basquie Beauty Center. As an innovator in natural hair care, he was one of the first hairstylists to teach loc cultavation and maintenance to a national audience. He enjoys creating personalized hairstyles that fit the lifestyle of each person who sits in his chair. Named for his son, Jace Anthony Salon is a fusion of Chris’s loves for traveling and music.
