Established in 2011.

We founded Keyed In LLC to make locksmith, security systems, doors and garage door services more accessible and affordable for residents of the DC area. Unlike our competitors, we pay our technicians on salaries — not commissions — so our customers don’t have to worry about any conflicts of interest. We offer the best services at better prices to homeowners and businesses alike, no matter the size of the job. Business Owner

Hi, I’m Shay, a security consultant and the owner of Keyed In LLC. When I moved to DC in late 2009, I was upset to see that DC area residents were being cheated on a regular basis by security companies who hired contractors to work on commission, creating incentives to charge exorbitant prices for low quality work. I created a unique business model for Keyed In LLC so that our customers get the best quality work at affordable prices. I’m proud that Keyed In has such a good relationship with our customers and community, and I intend to do everything I can to make sure it stays that way.

I currently live in the Tenleytown area. I love cars and electronics, enjoy working with my hands, am an avid swimmer, and occasionally sing to myself. The Keyed In Team and I look forward to meeting you and helping you with any/​all of your locksmith and security needs!
