DR. MARTIN IS GREAT. Very patient and pleasant. Highly effective in his profession. My lower back pain is non existent now.
THE OFFICE MUSIC IS EXTREMELY LOUD AND INAPPROPRIATE. The practice advocates being healthy and natural yet rap and pop music blares so loud that it is impossible to relax during treatment. I can’t imagine older clients enjoying their treatments here. I am confused as to why Dr. Martin being so professional in his work allows the type of music and for it to be played so loud.
FRONT DESK STAFF is questionable. Staff has changed a bit and one person who is currently there has gotten too comfortable, casual equalling unprofessional in handling patients I feel. I get the sense long term patients are passively pushed to put themselves on the traction table. I get attitude from one person particularly because I wait to be put on traction as a paying patient should.
Lastly, the office is scented with an irritating plug-​in that is not natural. Doctor’s office etiquette I would think would be sensitive to patients with allergies but not the case here.

I like a specific, effective, thorough Chiropractor. As a Chiropractor myself, I have high expectations. Dr. Martin delivers; he is of the highest order. Thanx Doc.

I was very dissatisfied with my experience. First I was kept waiting in the waiting area for 15 minutes and made to watch a 15 minute video. This was all during my lunch hour. Dr. Martin did a nerve test and wanted to take X-​rays. After all that he did not provide me with an adjustment when I was in pain and asked me to come back the next morning. I went to Potomac Rehab Center the next morning and received much better care and my pain was relieved. I would not recommend Palmecare Chiropractic.

My experience is from a few months ago, but I wanted to write about it before I completely forget. I waited inside the office for my consultation appointment for over 45 minutes while the chiropractor attended to two other patients that arrived at the same time and one after me. No one bothered to come in and tell me what was going on. After 30+ minutes I went out to the receptionist’s desk and was informed that the other patients were receiving adjustments. Since adjustments don’t take as long as a consultation they were being treated first. I rode in the elevator with one of people who were getting an adjustment. We checked-​in together at the front desk and had identical appointment times. But there’s only one chiropractor. Overbooking is overbooking. I don’t care how stellar you are at what you do, overbooking and keeping clients/​patients waiting doesn’t instill a sense that this office priorities delivering quality care but instead runs a turn style business. I left before my appointment and do not recommend this office.

It seems other reviewers miss Dr. Haley, but I enjoy his replacement/​protégé. (I haven’t had the pleasure of working with Dr. Haley.) He’s very pleasant and professional. I ask 100 questions during my visits and he takes the time to answer each. I never feel rushed and even a «long» visit or wait is 20mins or less.
The office is very convenient to Farragut North metro (block and a half walk). Nice décor, good jazz music playing as you relax on the traction table during most visits.
The office is losing 2 stars based on one of his new front desk staff. She’s rude, immature, and unprofessional. The experience has deteriorated overall since she began (e.g., relaxing jazz replaced by inappropriate hip-​hop). Not something I’ll tolerate for the money I’m paying. So he lost me as a patient; however, he’s great at what he does and I did eventually feel some relief. It’s just too bad he employs trash. (Please note that of 3 staff members I’ve encountered, only one is garbage.)

As an update, Dr. Harley is no longer at this location/​with PalmerCare. She was replaced by Dr. Aldwin T. Martin — who is also excellent, maybe even moreso. Along with this change, the office layout was also modified — there are now two tables for adjustments instead of just one. While the space there is still not fully maximized, two adjustment tables is a step in that direction.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Harley for around a month due to a car accident that gave me whiplash. I’m still at the beginning stages of my treatment, but for the month I’ve been going, I can honestly say that I’ve improved not only with my car injury, but with other issues that I’ve been having. Overall, I’m really pleased with Dr. Harley and her staff. She’s really thoughtful and tries her best to make sure you’re getting the best treatment. Also, her staff is really friendly and always timely, so you won’t be wasting your day, but will get in-​and-​out right when you step in the office.
This is my first time at a chiropractor, but it’s given me a new found appreciation of what they do and how they can help their patients. If you’re on the fence about visiting a chiropractor, it’s worth trying Dr. Harley out and seeing if she can make you feel better for many different types of ailments.

I literally love this office. Dr. Harley is wonderful, she takes the time to explain everything, and whatever she has been doing is definitely helping me. The front desk staff are fun and welcoming and you can get a massage while you’re here too. They are always doing fun promotions to give back to the community. I always look forward to coming here, which is pretty rare to say about a doctor’s office.

Excellent care. Warm and attentive staff. Dr. Harley is very proficient and professional. She takes the time to make sure that you understand what the issue is as well as possible treatment options. Highly recommended. Syretta is the brightest and enthusiastic professional you could hope to work with.
