History

Established in 1987.

Almost a quarter of a century old, The Front Page and Washington, DC have witnessed and weathered through many ups and downs together. From the implementation of Reaganomics to The Gulf War, and from the end of the Cold War and the USSR to the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom and the Patriot Act, The Front Page has stood the test of time and remained a staple in its Dupont Circle neighborhood. In almost 25 years, while DC’s history was peppered with changes, The Front Page filled its own history book with consistency remaining true to its original concept and mission: «We connect with each other and our guests through our passion for people, food and drink. We create an incredible experience!» Today, The Front Page is still serving up great traditions, fantastic foods, and maintaining an energetic venue that caters to both the young and the young-at-heart alike!
