A vibrant, exciting, and inviting event space perfect for corporate meetings, cocktail hours, fundraisers, product launches and more. Located in the Penn Quarter/​Chinatown neighborhood of Washington DC directly across the street from the Verizon Center.

High ceilings and exposed brick in a historic building are accented with modern technology and chic furnishings in the perfect downtown location. The Loft is the premier DC boutique space and served by concierge-​level event services and staff.

Three floors of light-​filled, creative spaces can be set in various designs ranging from a corporate day retreat to cocktail lounge reception, or from gallery exhibition to intimate seated lecture. Large windows overlook the beautiful National Building Museum.

Each floor is approximately 2,100 square feet with ample room for 120 standing or 80 seated banquet guests, and are connected by a beautiful open stairwell. On-​site AV, furniture, bistro and stage lighting designs packages are available to compliment the hardwood floors and exposed terrazzo tile ceilings.

The Loft at 600 F is located directly across from the Verizon Center at the corner of 6th and F Streets.

History

Established in 2013.

Since opening in October of 2013, The Loft has expanded form a single floor to three full floors of event spaces and meeting spaces. We have hosted over 500 events.

We used The Loft for an office offsite on 5÷4÷2016. We had around 70 ppl in attendance and the room was the perfect size. The chic rustic/​urban feel of The Loft was a great atmosphere to meet outside the typical office setting.
The staff was amazing helping along the way and Brittani was very accommodating and informative. We will definitely be keeping The Loft in mind for our next offsite event!

Gorgeous space and helpful, friendly, flexible staff, both in advance and during our party. We rented two floors and had plenty of room. Really great design (exposed brick, natural light, string lights, loungey sectional sofas and tasteful accent pieces) so you hardly need to add any party decorations. Can’t wait to host another event here!

Our team held a 1 day workshop with twenty people at The Loft. The space is absolutely beautiful and gave our meeting a lot of character. And the team there is wonderful to work with! We are a national fellowship located in Washington DC that specializes in consulting projects with promising startups, and twice a year we invite our investor and entrepreneur community together for an exclusive semester end celebration. Last semester, we held our event at the LOFT and had a blast!
The space is tastefully laid out and well balanced in sound and lighting. The venue was also happy to arrange the layout to accommodate the number of attendees. The staff was also extremely accessible and responsive before the event to coordinate event logistics and placements. They also provided us with suggestions to potential catering and bartending options. The day of, we worked with Sarah to make sure that everything ran smoothly. Sarah was incredible in making sure that everything went off without a hitch. She was extremely friendly and efficient, and even pitched in to help us with some of the clean up at the end of the night, which was super meaningful for those of us that have spent days already arranging the events. With her help and the assistance of her team, we were able to arrive, quickly set up, pull off a great event, and wrap up quickly to head home with no fuss.
If you want to work with a place that is friendly and makes not only your guests but YOU the event host feel welcome, we highly, highly recommend the LOFT, and only hope we’d be fortunate enough to book this space again in the future.

I can’t imagine a more perfect space than The Loft at 600 F for our 2 day company retreat. The space with its open floor plan, warm wood floors and brick walls, and windows allowing sunlight to stream in allowed our staff to work in a productive yet relaxed setting. The room’s flexibility allowed for breakout sessions, large group discussions, Powerpoint presentations, and even great space for meals. Brittany and her staff worked with my budget, anticipated our needs, and were on hand to quickly respond to requests. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The Loft at 600 F is a beautiful space, perfect for meetings and receptions. My company had a board meeting and everything was perfect. Our meeting was perfect, their rooms are fully equipped for meetings (AV capability, polycom, Wi-​Fi, projector, etc.). The staff is extremely friendly, professional and so accommodating. We enjoyed working with them and we hope to work with them in the future.

The Loft at 600 F is one of my favorite places in DC. The space is beautiful, full of large windows, exposed brick, and hardwood floors. It has a vintage, industrial feel that also makes you feel right at home. Not only is the space truly special, but the staff that runs the Loft is such a pleasure to work with. They are so accommodating and full of great ideas. The space is so versatile for meetings, weddings, conferences, ect. I enjoyed every moment working with the Loft and hope I have the chance to work with them again in the future.

An organization I co-​organize has held several events at the Loft, and each time it exceeds our expectations. The space is so cool, and our attendees really enjoy being there. We’ve had several smaller, presentation-​style meetups and last year we held a holiday party/​awards show. The holiday party was a big hit, and we had about a hundred different people show up at different points in the evening. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was easy for us to set up different areas for food, drinks, and a presentation space.

My partner and I hosted our wedding and reception on 10÷3÷2015 on the second floor of The Loft. Everything was amazing. The Loft was the first venue we looked at during our search. We didn’t book right away and looked at several other locations. Nothing compared! The Loft had the exact feeling we wanted. We wanted a small, intimate event with an at home feel. We worked with several of the staff including Andrew and Wyatt. We had about 40 guests but the space never felt too large. It was just enough to move people about without feeling cramped or overwhelming. We enjoyed a non-​traditional ceremeony setup and a cocktail reception. Catering was done by Well Dunn and we supplied our own alcohol. The space comes with so many things included. We didnt need many additional itmes for décor. We loved the exposed brick and the at home feel. The bathrooms were spacious. They provided tables inside which were large enough for us to supply hospitality baskets for our guests. It was everything we wanted. Throughout the planning process all of the staff kept us informed and worked hard to make sure our vision came to light. It’s a beautiful space that can accomodate any type of event. I loved every minute of my wedding day and I can’t thank them enough.

Overall: The space is good with the action being split between two floors. There are central spaces for dancing and also smaller places to retreat to for conversation. I was there for an late evening event but I could see it also being pleasant for a daytime event. The local area has nightlife so there were plenty of cabs/​ubers available at the end of the night.
Of note: There is a coat rack but not a coat check, it is not protected.
Negatives: The elevator is small and rather groti, take the stairs instead. Staff shouting at attendees to leave because they only have 15 minutes to clean up at the end of the night was neither professional or pleasant.

The Loft at 600 F provides an amazing venue for a variety of events. We used it for a corporate meeting and the lay out allowed us to meet as a large group, break into small groups and eat in a comfortable setting. The staff is incredibly helpful, Internet and AV capabilities top notch. Convenient location, great parking and metro options. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and urban. We would definitely use them again.

My sister’s baby shower turned out amazing due in a large part to The Loft. Brittany hooked us up with vendors and helped us plan every detail. On the day of the shower Wyatt worked along side us to make sure everything was perfect.
The space is breathtaking! I just keep trying to think of new events to host here. It’s directly across the street from the Verizon Center, yet cozy and private. Everything feels trendy and upscale. Love, love, love this place. We got so many compliments on the venue and the event was a real success. Thank you Wyatt and Brittany!

What makes the Loft a great place to host an event goes beyond the beautiful venue itself. The people who manage this place are a great group of folks that work with your vision and provide you with the best venue experience you can ever ask for.
My company hosted a Fundraiser Pop Up event called «Mojito Dance Night» and I can remember how seamless working with the staff at 600 F was. It was a great experience not only for our guests, but for us organizers as well. Keep up the great work you guys!

This place is perfect for hosting inttimate and casual happy hour events! Centrally located near the Gallery Place Metro, with tons of nearby parking, the space itself was gorgeous! Several of my guests were ready to move in! Andrew and Wyatt were incredibly helpful and flexible, and the entire event ran smoothly. I will definitely use it again for events I may host, and I know that several guests commented that «this was a perfect use of this space» and «I want to get married here!»
