Graduated with honors from Howard University in 1975. A 1978 graduate of the Georgetown Law Center. Member of the District of Columbia Bar since 1978. Member of the Bar of the State of Maryland since 1996. Authorized to practice before the federal courts in the District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, and before the United States Supreme Court. In private practice since 1982. In addition to individuals, have represented small businesses, non-​profit organizations, churches, financial institutions, and the federal government. Past and current member of several Boards of Directors. Have been delegate member of the District of Columbia Judicial Conference.
