I went to The Buckle at Crossroad’s Mall in Waterloo last weekend and let me tell you, it was a memorable experience. And certainly not in a good way. Worst customer service I have ever come across. In order to get a dressing room, I had to stand next to an employee for a good five minutes while she was helping her friend pick out a belt(mind you, we were standing right next to the dressing rooms). After discussing with her friend whether a short shirt looks bad on her or not since she’s not very tall, I finally get a dressing room. Praise the lord. Wait. WTF is this? No mirrors in the dressing room!!! You have to be kidding me! This experience just keeps getting better and better! I had ten shirts to try on(that’s right…10). So every time I tried one on, I had to come OUT of the dressing room, admire myself in the mirror for a short amount of time, then go BACK into the dressing room. This got annoying after the first shirt I tried on. And what made this even BETTER is that there were two, TWO employees standing right outside my door the entire time, having a conversation. I had to say excuse me to them at least 7 times. Literally. And they DIDNOTMOVE. I finally decided on a shirt and had them put it on hold for me. When I came back to actually buy it, it took them what seemed like an eternity to find out who put the shirt on hold for me(«Who’s handwriting is this? Do you know who put this on hold? Is it Colleen?»). Does it really matter?! No one was effing helping me anyway! My god man. I would give this place two stars because they have a great selection, but the horrible customer service just totally takes this place down a notch. Maybe it was just this particular store, but The Buckle normally doesn’t have customer service that’s this poor. I don’t recommend this store to anyone.
