My wife and I recently relocated to Cambridge, MA and happened past Sarris one day and were glad we did! After seeing the perfect rating on Unilocal,we decided to take our 2011 BMW 328xi in for brake work and an oil change. The car’s system told us that we needed rear brakes and Peter at Sarris quoted us a very reasonable price to replace our rear brakes and change our oil.
We dropped the car off on Friday after close and it was done at 1pm on Saturday. While doing the work, Peter discovered that the brakes were fine and instead, a censor was damaged. He replaced the damaged censor, completed the oil change AND took without our prompting installed our new Mass plates and took our car down the street for the inspection required in Mass (this was new to us and not required where in Wisconsin).
He did all of this, on a Saturday morning and came in $ 200 UNDER the quoted price. Many mechanics would have replaced the brakes anyways, but Peter proved to be an honest and dedicated professional and we will be taking our vehicle to him exclusively from now on.
I didn’t even mention that they washed our car… Peter and Sarris simply rocks.

Peter has been fixing cars for my family for some years now. He even remembers what cars that we had over the years. He’s been great, honest and accommodating. Him and his crew were very professional and gets the job done. I feel very much at ease after I get my car checked out and worked on by his shop.

My car is 6 years old and I plan on driving it as long as I can. With Sarris Auto and Service, I can rely on the service here to keep my car running great. I used to go to the dealership to have my car serviced but each time, I would spend countless hours and money for services I didn’t quite need. Since I’ve been taking my car to Peter, I have realized that he’s not just a great mechanic, he’s very honest and fair. I’ll never take my car anywhere to repair and my next purchase will be from him.

I drive a mini cooper and finding a decent place to get it serviced that is not a dealership is hard. I have taken my car here for radiator problems, an oil change and to put on a new tire. Each time the cost has been fair and the service excellent. They have never tried to talk me into getting more work done that wasn’t immediately needed, but they have kept me aware of problems that may need to be fixed in the future with an understanding of what’s most important. After fixing my radiator they told me I could come in to top off my coolant for free and when they put on my new tire I had broken a part to release the spare, they went ahead and ordered the part for me (it was only $ 10) had it the next day and put my spare back on at no cost. I know when I take my car to them it will be fixed by professionals and I won’t get ripped off!

Sarris has been servicing my car for a couple of years.
Here «your Mercedes is out of warranty» is not as scary as in the TV commercials.
They are super fair, reliable and have not forced any unnecessary services onto me. They even sent me to Herb Chambers (which I really dislike) when a catalytic converter was broken. They told me that Mercedes extended the warranty on many of them, but of course won’t tell their customers until they bring in the car. So unless Peter (the boss I think) had told me, I would not have known and probably paid for a new catalytic converter my self into their pocket.
WOW — A trustworthy car repair shop.

I trust Peter with my car and his honest approach to car repair. My car has had its ups and downs (many downs) and Peter is always extremely honest with his assessments of my car and I know that he would never «take advantage» of my lack of car knowledge.
Not only that but his used cars are fun to look at and imagine yourself behind the wheel.

I can’t take my car anywhere else (and neither can my sister). Peter Sarris and his group does a fantastic job. He is beyond polite, honest, quick, and efficient. He also sells cars (Mercedes-​Benz, BMW, Mini-​Coopers). They are all nice cars, I always want to buy one when I go here.
