The Finger Lakes region consists of eleven lakes carved from glaciers in Central New York State. We run Summit to Stream Adventures out of historic Watkins Glen, NY, centrally located at the south end of Seneca Lake. Here you will find a vast area rich in history and culture; making The Finger Lakes one of the best places in the world for outdoor recreation.

We are a family run business, that offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including, kayak rentals, kayak tours, fishing charters, fly-​fishing and instruction. The Finger Lakes offers something for everyone, come and experience the Finger Lakes and Watkins Glen area to the fullest. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will do their very best to make your next adventure unforgettable!

History

Established in 2002.

Summit to Stream Adventures started in 2002 with fishing, hunting, kayaking, winery tours, and archery hunting. Since then they have narrowed their focus to just a few of those, to include: Fishing Charters, Fly Fishing and instruction, Kayak rentals and Kayak Tours.

As the business simplified, Summit to Stream Adventures opened the kayak shack in 2010 on the southern shores of Seneca Lake to offer hourly rentals of kayaks and paddleboards.

Mark M.

Business Owner

Primary guide and owner of Summit to Stream Adventures, Mark Moskal has spent most of his life in the outdoors, studying wildlife, back-​packing, camping, fishing, hunting, rafting, and traveling throughout New York State and the country. In the year 2000 Mark had a vision to start Summit to Stream Adventures in the Finger lakes region of Central New York, where he was born and raised. Mark is an active member of Trout Unlimited, The Federation of Fly Fishers, The Finger Lakes Trail Conference, and the New York State Guides Association.

A NYS Licensed guide, Mark is also certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross, and is certified in Basic Water Safety. His goal is to share his passion of the outdoors with all who join him, and have people experience all that the Finger Lakes has to offer.
