History

Established in 2006.

Winthrope Harbor Police Chief Joel Brumlik and Commander Mike Bitton bought Millcreek Protective Services in 2006 and renamed it to Tactical Security. Since then, Tactical Security has provided the highest quality armed and unarmed security services in the Chicagoland and Milwaukee area. In 2011, Tactical Security bought a Signal 88 franchise to increase business with more national sized accounts. In 2013, Tactical Security expanded its services and created a K9 unit with both bomb and drug sniffing dogs, as well as an investigations unit that handles a multitude of cases including false imprisonment, process serving, Infidelity, and civil suits. Tactical Security continues to serve its client’s loyally and with the same enthusiasm and work ethic as it has always done.
