let me just start off by saying I USED TO love taking my dog here, although this was just before there was a new owner. The new owner is not made to run a business. She is completely rude and a typical «main line» woman who doesn’t care about anyone but herself. I once called from 9am until 5pm, not only did they not answer their calls but the owner was rude when I stopped in to ask for an appointment. I will no longer be bringing my dog to this groomer. The owner even said herself that she lost employees, now she will also be losing customers due to her attitude and incapability of running a business. Who wants to make an appt with someone who doesn’t care enough to have your business? I’LL PASS.

Our last visit went well. Apparently, the previous groomer was fired or left. This visit was uneventful, which is the goal. His nails were neat and perfectly cut and he looked and smelled good. Happy :)

This place cleans your dog really really well, even when my dog is really really dirty. I mean, the bathers do an absolutely PERFECT job bathing my dog. He is always free of dirt and debree, fluffy clean, and most importantly happy and wagging when I pick him up. We dont use the grooming services because my dog is a short haired breed but from what I have seen advertised at Dogma their groomer won an award for 2012’s best groomer of the mail line!

My family has been taking our dogs to Dogma since they opened their doors at their original location, and we have been fervent supporters ever since. The quality of their grooming, customer service, and overall ambiance is top notch. Linda has built an admirable business that has become an irreplaceable institution which provides the quality and expertise you would expect from the best human salons.
At Dogma you and your pet are treated as more than just customers, you are part of the family. When I walk in the door with my puppy she is excited to be back in familiar territory with her friends that cut her hair. I feel 2000% comfortable leaving my dog in their loving hands because I know from experience that they will be taken care of the right way. When I go pick her up she knows she looks and smells good, and struts home like the little diva she is!
In short, Dogma employs the best groomers in the area (and I have tried MANY others) and it is the ONLY place I will let groom my dog.

The first time I took my dog here, they were great. My dog is very anxious and they handled her very well. The last time I brought her there, I mentioned that previously, they had not cut much, if any, hair off of her, but I was charged the full grooming fee ($ 80). They said that because she is anxious, it is hard to cut her hair. When I picked my dog up, she was bleeding from her paw. They said they were unable to trim her nails because she did not want them to touch her legs, and that they think they cut her during that process. They still charged me $ 80, and did not offer any discounts or coupons on future visits as compensation for harming my dog. Her paw wound bled for days. I kept it clean and it healed, but I will NEVER take her there again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

very mediocre and very overpriced. when my dog got home, I noticed they missed a bunch of spots and i had to trim him up myself (even though I just paid $ 80 for a dog haircut). the only plus is that the place looks clean.

Nobody ever answers the phone, it always goes to voicemail during business hours, then they call you back eventually. Also, it’s ridiculously overpriced and is nothing more than an expensive Main Line bath for your pooch.
