History

Established in 1918.

Talking Devices was started as a recording studio. A guy came in and wanted a recording on a wire, impossible at the time. After experimenting a while they found they could put the recording on plastic. The company has had facilities in Chicago, Tulsa, Addison IL, and since 1982 Weaverville NC.
