We have been there twice in the past few months, both times to hear live jazz and dance music. The drinks were moderately priced and it was a potluck food bar so some of it was very good. The service was also good. The music was excellent and the dancers interesting to watch. Most people came to listen to the music and saved their conversation for between the sets. Robbie’s is a work in progress and I am glad the building has been saved. Robbie’s isn’t fancy like the Fox Theater but it has everything you need when the music is good.

Reunion Jazz Quintet performed, and the place was packed! Great music, decent venue, and reasonable cover($ 15) for a few hours of killer jazz.

not sure how this place stays in business. went to see a band and there were only 7 people there(I think 2 of them were with the band); limited wines, spirits and beers; only generic chips, pretzels.etc. are offered. the only upside is the location — in Old Webster Groves. that’s all.

This jazz club, just opened in spring 2009, offers absolutely first-rate jazz in a wide range of styles. The house band, led by Robert Edwards, is made up of some of the finest musicians I’ve heard in a long time, and their rapport with one another is stunning. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back. I’ll definitely be returning every time I’m in St. Louis.
