Crown Fried Chicken & Grill

The fries and chicken were OLD and the coleslaw was WAY past bad. The price was low, the portions were generous and the owner was friendly. HOWEVER, the quality of the food was unforgiveable.

This place gets five starts from me! My boyfriend and I were looking for a fried chicken spot and this came up on my Unilocal search and boy oh boy am I glad we found this litte spot. First off, don’t judge the spot by it’s appearance, the food and service are unbelievable. We walked in and were greeted by the cashier and owner, they explained the menu and offered us free pieces of cake while we waited for our food (which we so gracious accepted haha). The food takes some time to make considering it’s all fresh. I ordered the fish and shrimp dish and my boyfriend ordered the fried chicken. Let me just say the seasoning being used is INCREDIBLE, the food was absolutely mouthwatering… actually thinking about the food is making my mouth water right now The owner uses a pressure cooker to lock all the juices into the chicken and man does that make a huge differences! The fish was loaded with flavor and the shrimp were pretty big, but they weren’t my favorite item on the menu. All meals are served with fries, which were freshly made and sprinkled with seasoned salt. When you go, make sure you order the chicken and fish, highly recommend!

Worst place EVER!!! I ordered from there a few months ago. They were rude, inconsiderate and got the order completely wrong. Even when I called them to complain they refused to do anything about it. My son went all the way back down there to get the corrected order and they STILL had it wrong. When I called the next day, the owner said that he would provide a refund for the trouble of having to go down there twice and still getting wrong food and then when my son went down there to get the refund, the owner REFUSED saying that he would never do that. Then when I made a special trip down there after work, the owner REFUSED to speak to me. When he finally did… after I stated that I would call the police for the MANY health and safety hazards that were present, he finally emerged. He finally refunded the entire bill BUT I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!

excellent place for lunch or supper! they deliver too. a huge menu to choose from and friendly people. the chicken is addicting!

My wife and I didn’t care for this at all. The food was no better than KFC and the service lacking, though I’ll give them a break on that because they had only been open a few days and the computer system wasn’t functioning.

A great new place in downtown Webster. I stopped in to give it a try, and wasn’t disappointed.
I ordered the Chicken Kabob with Rice and Salad. For only 7.99, this was a great deal. The chicken was delicious, the rice is a seasoned basmati with just a hint of spice. The salad had a creamy yogurt dressing on it found in a lot of Middle East restaurants.
I personally hope they expand in the Middle East aspect of the menu once they get established in town.
