History

Established in 1972.

Founded in 1972 by Wanda & Buddy Steel in Seabrook Texas, then nationally affiliated with Flooring America in 1991 along with CCA Global Partners as they became part of the largest group of flooring retailers in North America. In 2010 — 2^nd generation owners Scott & Lori Steel merged with another 2^nd generation Flooring America dealer in Dallas, Kelby & Kristi Frederick to become My Flooring America the largest regional flooring retailer in Texas. I have been with My Flooring America for 22 years as part of a locally owned and operated company established in 1972 and has been nationally affiliated for over 20 years with over 2500 stores to be the largest buyers & sellers of flooring in North America.
