Texas Splish Splash Hand Carwash of Webster

I took my new car to Splish Splash carwash in Webster for its first carwash. Unfortunately I left with an inch scratch on my windshield. Jim, carwash owner, would not accept responsibility, using video of the service to support his position. The video has no view of the windshield. His position then became that I was irrational. See Better Business Bureau for similar situations. Buyer beware. Your $ 18 carwash could turn into something much more costly.

NEVER AGAIN.
I wish to goodness I would have read these reviews and reminded myself about why I quit doing business with them, over a year ago. Management seems to be more interested in flushing (pun intended) as many vehicles through the facility as is possible, with little regard for completing the sales they’ve already made. The frenetic pace at which the workers haphazardly perform their jobs leads to sub par work, lack of attention to detail, and even vehicle damage, as was the case for me. (Picture to follow). I called and spoke with the manager of the Webster location, and instead of apologizing for the substandard performance of the facility and trying to get to the bottom of the issue with his staff, he immediately engaged in excuses, not the first of which was to challenge me on why I didn’t bring it to their attention while I was there, which I did… I’m out there with one of their own rags wiping leftover road grime, some untouched interior grime when one of the workers comes out and asked «is there a problem boss?» If they had to ask that question, the answer should be crystal clear… definitely not like the truck they were entrusted to clean for me.
How do these people stay in business?!

I always have to look over the interior and point out where they missed. But the boys very willingly fix any issues I find, no matter how many. .
They always do another vacuum … And always go back over nooks and crevices which look entirely missed .
At the end, I’m happy with the result for what I paid.

Wow… This place should be called half ass as this is is what my $ 21 got :(. Waited for over an hour to get my company truck washed and the interior cleaned. Missed some road grime on the side and the interior looked like they did not touch it. I ended up rehashing it myself. My GF got tired of hearing me bitch and joined in on the Sunday fun.

We have taken our brand new vehicle there three times, they have always done a great job until today. After driving back home for the evening, I saw some smudges on the windshield. We then went to wipe it off at home with our microfiber clothes, and they are scratches. Inside AND outside of the glass. What to do now? Just get our money back for the wash? I doubt that they would pay for a new windshield. Not too happy about it. Guess if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.

I arrived at 5:30, they were finished by 6. They also managed to remove surfboard wax on the top of my car that neither 10 other car washes nor my dad had been able to remove in over a year. Very impressed! Pricing is reasonable, one of the more inexpensive Clearlake options. Pro tip: enroll in their frequent customer program for your 11^th wash free!

Best hand wash and detail business in Houston! This is the first time I have EVER written a review but just felt so compelled to because of the awesome service I have received after every single time I go to have my car washed. The las time I stopped by, I had to leave in a hurry because of an emergency and they were nice enough to let me come in the next time for free to finish the job almost 6 months later! Small shops like this deserve to stay in business because of their care for the customer and their dedication to quality service. Thank you Splish Splash!

If you are willing to wait 1 ½ hrs for your car for only a wash then go. There are too many other options to use them.

I took my car here for a basic exterior wash and a complete clean of the interior. It cost $ 18 and was completed in 10 minutes! I live nearby and I’ve seen days where it looks really busy. So, it might take longer on those days. But today was SO fast.
For the most part I was pleased with the way my car looked. Only a couple little crumbs left in the car. The exterior was nice and sparky.
I’ll be coming back for sure!

Best Carwash I have been too! You get your money’s worth.
