The fillet was a little tough, but the ribs were good. The Ruben was out of this world!

This place has disappointed us the last two times we have been there. Last time we has a 55 minute wait to be seated, when they seated other people that had not been there as long as us. This time they tried sitting us and the little ones in the bar. The waitress was incompetent and my $ 15 steak looked like my 5 year-old cooked it and slapped it on a plate with a couple of fries. Not good.

We are back for the third time visiting this fine restaurant. My wife and I keep branching off trying different menu selections. We have yet to find anything that wasn’t absolutely excellent. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant can have a menu as diverse as this and still excel at every dish. Also, the wait staff has always been friendly, conscientious, and eager to please. This restaurant is a 15 mile drive for us one way and well worth the trip. Tonight my wife had the chicken fried chicken. This is not your usual flatten half inch piece of chicken breast. This was a whole chicken breast covered in gravy and it came with huge dishes. She looked at me and said it is better than she’s had from her usual favorite restaurants that serve chicken fried chicken.

Stopped by for dinner Ina Monday evening. The place was pretty busy, my group of 3 was sat right away. Waitress was friendly and kept our drinks full. Food was great, I recommend the baby back ribs and chicken strip combo with sweet potato fries. Aqua sit in the booth, tables are too cramped,

I love how each 54th Street Grill & Bar location has its own personality. The décor is eclectic. Every time I go in, I can’t help, but look around at all of the seemingly random decorations around the restaurant. This is also a big part of what makes this restaurant unique. The menu is a bit of everything… Want hamburgers? They’ve got you covered. Mexican? They’ve got that too. Soup and salads? Yep, you’ll find it. I’m surprised they are able to maintain such a large menu, but so far I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like. I would especially recommend the summer blend salad and potato soup. The bread and honey butter that comes with it is fantastic as well! The one thing that took me aback is the smoking section. It has been a while since I’ve been in a restaurant that offered a smoking section and, to be honest, it detracted from the dining experience.

Had lunch here on a Saturday. Myself, the hubby, my MIL and our two girls. I had the California Chicken Salad. It was a chopped salad and was very fresh and good! Hubby had the steak sandwich, with a side salad. MIL had the ½ brisket sandwich and salad. We all enjoyed our food. One of our daughters had the kids sliders, which she declared some of the best burgers she ever had. They come bare, just cheese and meat, which is a plus, since most kids are picky about what they put on their burger. My little one had the kids sirloin, which was super tender and well seasoned. Our server was friendly and suggested some of her faves. All in all, a great place! We will definitely be back!

Double Meat Block French Dip Griddle seared, au jus drenched steak, chopped and piled high on toasted ciabatta bread with melted monterey jack cheese. It’s plenty to split with your wife. The horsey sauce is one of the best. I usually get extra horsey. My wife loves the French au jus.

I really enjoyed this place and was pleasantly surprised that while the menu has some similar sounding dishes as other chain restaurants of this type, the dishes that I tried were different enough to make them much more elevated in flavor and quality. I love their wraps, especially the southwest veggie. Their Mac Daddy and Cheese is very good! They have good vegetarian options, as well as for meat lovers. I really enjoyed the food here and will definitely go again the next time I am in town. The ambiance reminded me of a mix somewhere between Fridays and Red Robin. They have a nice kids menu and we all left feeling very satisfied. I also love that they have a take out drive through!

Ethan the bartender was awesome! I asked the manager on duty– Jeremy, if I could have a little more Gringo Dip, because I had a lot chips and no dip or salsa left… he said that there was nothing he could do, he would have to charge me for more dip. Seriously? We are talking about .35 to make a customer very happy! Nope, Jeremy needs to be educated on simple customer service! I actually bought a gold card because I usually enjoy the atmosphere, what a waste of money. I will never spend another dollar at 54th street, Wentzville, MO.

Good lead from Unilocal. On road trip west stopped in for dinner & were pleased with the food and service. I tried the pork tomahawk chop appetizer as it was something I had not seen before. It was a trio of pork shanks that were slowed cooked tender then somehow seared crisp on the outside(deep fried?). The waitress suggested the Asian sauce. They were very tasty. My wife had the fajita chicken salad — it was big enough for two & she really liked the chicken flavor & tenderness. I had the grilled buffalo chicken salad which was also huge with very flavorful and tender chicken. Worth a repeat visit next time through!

54th street is a great place. It’s a traditional American chain equipped with cars, photos, elephants, and other«flare» all over the walls and ceilings. I think it’s hilarious and they usually have music on that everyone knows. I like 54 Street because of their great food mainly the Gringo Dip. Lol I usually have great service when I go to 54, especially this location. I would suggest the«Cajun Chicken Philly» If you have a chance to go, I would definitely suggest.

Visited this place with my boyfriend while on vacation. Here’s our joint thoughts on the place. The restaurant itself was typical Americana chain-style. There was stuff all over the ceiling and walls to look at, sports gear /musician stuff /memorabilia. They were playing music that people could sing along to, classic rock hits and similar. Our server was wonderful. She was extremely friendly and made a point to check up on all of her tables at least twice. I unfortunately don’t remember her name but she was awesome, whoever she was. As far as food goes, here’s what we ordered: 1. Zeppelin Pretzels 2. Tomahawk Pork Wing Platter — Waffle Fries — Baked Beans 3. Mac Daddy & Cheese 4. Strawberry Lemonade 1. Zeppelin Pretzels: They were awesome! There were three, served with cheese just as the menu says. They were soft and super hot, the cheese wasn’t spicy but was smooth and also piping hot. Please be careful not to burn your tongue like we did.(We were super hungry!) 2. Pork Wing Platter with waffle fries and beans: The beans were sweet and had chunks of bacon in them, classic southern style. The waffle fries were seasoned like curly fries. The pork wings themselves(I didn’t know pigs had wings???) were super tender and were typical St. Louis style barbeque. 3. The Mac was just about as perfect as macaroni can get. Two different types of noodles, creamy cheesey goodness with chunks of chicken and bits of bacon all over the place. It was served with two big pieces of toast. 4. Strawberry lemonade was sweet, maybe a little too sweet. The mug was rimmed with rock sugar and that made the entire thing a big sticky mess. I’d also like to make a point that while we were leaving we bumped into another employee who was cleaning the bench seats of the dining room. In most places this means they take a wet rag and wipe them down, but this employee was actually removing the seats from the booth boxes themselves and wiping down the entire thing. This kind of cleanliness is highly appreciated by someone who has worked in the restaurant business and has seen the horrors of chain places. Overall, I’m impressed. Good job, Wentzville 54th Street. I plan on visiting you guys again!

Conventional chain restaurant, complete with road signs indoors and colorful decorum. The menu has a wider selection than other chains. The food and service are fine — nothing to write home about. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with the crowds here. On busy nights everyone congregates in the lobby area, and it gets hard to move around. My most recent meal here was the brisket sandwich. It didn’t have much flavor but was ok after adding sauce.

Love this place! The food is great and this staff is too. One time our waitress made a mistake and without us saying anything, apologized and had the manager come over to ask what they could do to make it up to us. Fantastic atmosphere with staff who seem to like their jobs!

It’s a good place the only thing is the menu is way to big!!! We moved here from Texas and popped in for lunch!!! Tried the 3 course meal for 24.99. Host was not friendly just blah! No personality at all! Server we had was very friendly.
