Rookie’s Bar & Grill

Stopped by on a whim. Really surprised
Food is great and has great bar like appeal. Service was fantastic and recommend the Phil Mickelson sandwich
Can’t go wrong with this place whether for quick lunch or watching your favorite team.

Great bar food. Best burgers in town. Wings are what Buffalo Wild wings aspires to be. Service here is almost always horrible and super slow unless you sit at the bar. Cant tell you how many times I have walked in with family members and waited at the hostess stand where the sign states wait to be seated. We waited for a good 10 15 mimutes each time and the waitresses walk right by and ignore you. This seriously needs to be fixed. Would also be great to get rid of the smoking. Ceilings are low and some nights it’s hard to breathe.

Pretty awesome and polite service. I got yhe chicken salad, and it was superb. I’m glad they still offer a smoking section. Nice atmosphere. All in all, it was a great experience.

Terrible service. Went there today and waited an hour to sit but there was an open table and we had asked multiple times to be sat. The owner was loud and yelled across the whole place. The waitresses were nice but they were on their phones a lot and it took us three hours to be sat, eat burgers and salad, and get our checks. Will not recommend and will not go there again.

Best place for miles. Real staff, real food and real fun. Has all your standard bar food, but better, plus a few unique items you’ll not find anywhere else. The limited smoking area makes it comfortable. Most reasonable prices anywhere. $ 5 pitchers of beer! I don’t go there for lobster but I do go there for awesome

My Fiancé and I go to Rookies once a week most of the time. The atmosphere is perfect, not too dark or too smokey. The food is always good, we are both obsessed with the 3 Wood and their breaded chicken wings as well. The servers are all nice and attentive but, mostly personable! We love hanging out at Rookies and always bring new friends in the area in with us! It never disappoints!

I would love to leave a good review for rookies, however this time I can’t do it. We stopped there for dinner tonight and waited to be seated as the sign instructed. Other people around us proceeded to seat themselves with nobody stopping them. We asked to be seated at one of the three to four available tables and because they seated more than two people we were instructed that we had to wait until a table was vacated. This coming after my wife instructed them that she had just had a double hip replacement and needed to sit down. I asked if they would rather have us leave then to seat us at one of the several available tables and the waitress said… whatever. This was hands down the worst service that we have ever gotten there. We had to leave without being seated and now wonder whether we will ever go back. If you’re looking for service do not go there… I repeat… if service is what you want do not go to rookies. I suppose that because we were there to eat and not smoke and drink that we were not treated well, it’s a sad state of affairs.

This is your typical hole-​in-​the-​wall sports bar. It’s a local crowd generally here to watch a game while they eat. The menu consisted of your typical bar food lineup (e.g. burgers, wings, etc.); however, the food was good and the prices reasonable. We always had decent service and never had any complaints about the quality of our food. Since the food was good and at a good price, I’d recommend coming here, especially if you’re looking for a local spot to eat, drink, and watch some sports.

Ended up waiting over an hour for a burger then decided to just leave and drive through an Arbys since my work lunch break had just been ruined. Looking at the tables around us, the people that arrived well before we did had still not gotten their food either. Only thing churning out of the kitchen were quick to make salads. Weekday lunches should be quick since 99% of the people there were probably on a work break as well
Giving it two stars because it used to be awesome, and the prices are decent enough. Can’t give it more than that until I get a chance to taste the food again

Great local hangout! Food is great, Ray is an awesome chief! The staff has always been extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure that we are happy!

Stopped here on a business trip for dinner. Definitely a «locals» hangout, but the waitresses were very friendly. Really good food at a surprisingly great price. The wings were some of the better I’ve had. Seems like a great place to watch a game, especially Blues hockey.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years it is a great restaurant and I would recommend it to anybody! The food is great!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food and cold beer. Lots of TVs to watch the game of your choice. I didn’t give them a 5 star because it is a smokey place. They have a non-​smoking section but they book that area for parties a lot. It’s kid friendly early in the evening especially if you can get the non-​smoking section.

Was kinda smoky when I was there… nice looking bartender tho…
