Description

Specialties

Before stepping into The Fat Tomato many think of it as your run of the mill pizza place, but after they do they find it has much more in store for them other then pizza. While the pizza at The Fat Tomato is a 100 year old recipe passed down from generation to generation, and is exceedingly delicious, it doesn’t stop there. The head chef is a very talented young chef who specializes in Fish Entrees, such as the Almond Crusted Salmon. If fish isn’t your thing then try the Stuffed Pork Chop, stuffed with spinach, cranberries and gorganzola cheese. To rich? Perhaps something light like the Pear and Walnut salad. For lunch we have many wraps and hot sandwiches to choose from. Such as the Black Bean Chicken Wrap or the Hot Roast Pork sandwich. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts at The Fat Tomato is homemade. We strive to be the best by using the best ingredients we can. So what are you waiting for? Come on in and try us. Hope to see you soon :)

Meet the Business Owner

John A.

Business Owner

Hi my name is John Adili. Thank you for considering my restaurant for your next meal. I am originally from Trieste, Italy. I moved to New York when I was 8 years old. My family and I lived in Queens, NY for 15 years before I moved down to New Jersey in the 70’s and brought my NYC style pizza with me. I have owned a few other restaurants including King of Pizza, House of Pizza, Michelangelo’s, Palumbo’s Family Restaurant, and now most proudly The Fat Tomato. I have been nothing but grateful for the business that the Berlin residents and surrounding town residents have greeted us with since we opened up. It is my honor to be a part of the town and be accepted by them so graciously. To my loyal customers I thank you, and to those not yet familiar with me or my restaurant I look forward to meeting you soon. Ciào.
