I think this place should actually come with a warning sign – «Proceed quickly down the road! Do not stop here!» When we checked into our room, the carpet was still wet, so I went to the front desk and they gave us another option of taking one of two different rooms. After checking out the two rooms, we decided to get the kitchenette unit with the two double beds, even though both smelled musty. The manager gave me a candle to light up in the room to make the place more bearable. The floor in this place was dirty in the kitchen area, the carpet was in bad shape(and probably was the source of the smell) and the place was quite noisy from other tenants. The outside of the building near the end of the units was in such disrepair, it seemed like a safety issue if you were to walk around there. In addition, the breakfast was simply stale donuts, Walmart OJ, and coffee made in a small french press. Who are they kidding? To top it off, when we gave in our key, there parked by the lobby door was a police car! The manager of this place did call me later that morning to offer a «gift certificate» of some sort, but I have never heard from her again. My advice; pay the few extra bucks to stay in a decent place!

Funny after staying here because it’s so cheap and only 1 mile from my relatives, I experienced the same problem most others did: noise from other«tenants». I admit I am a light sleeper, but shoot, every time I was about to fall asleep, someone opened or shut a noisy door. Can someone in the hotel industry design a hallway and doors that resonates less noise!!! I didn’t even bother with the crappy cheap«continental» breakfast, I left as soon as i could. If you can afford better, do so.

Hmm, to give this a 2 or a 3, wish there was a ½ star, 2.5 would be my choice. Made a phone reservation a week in advance of our arrival to make sure our need for a ground floor room could be met. Person on the phone checked and said yes, there was 1 room on ground floor and allegedly assigned it to us. Unfortunately when we checked in we were given a 2nd floor room — there was no mention of our needing ground floor on the reservation screen. Manager on duty quickly fixed our issue. Property is a former Howard Johnson’s motel — they kept the original check in building, complete with orange roof and lamplighter wind vane. Rooms are standard fare, bed, small table & chairs, tv, microwave, coffee pot & fridge — which you need to turn on if you intend to use it. There is a small hairdryer in bathroom and little tear packets of shampoo/conditioner as well a a few mini bars of soap. Towels and wash cloths were clean. Our room was just 1 queen bed, it was ok; no big divit in the middle which would cause you to roll in to it. Bed linens were clean and simple. Noise from other rooms were sometimes an issue, mostly from hall doors being closed(they needed to be pulled as the latches were tight). We didn’t bother with the breakfast, there’s a coffee/donut shop ½ mile up the road. Would we stay here again? Hard to say. Depends on why we’re in the area. At $ 80 a night(AARP discount /taxes included) it’s not cheap by most standards, but most other properties in the area are over $ 100.

Seriously? This is the classic motel… the one you don’t want to stay at, but the thought of packing up your stuff and looking for a vacant hotel at 11PM after flying all day sounds daunting. It’s horrible!!! The wifi doesn’t work, I can hear the people next door through the wall and people in the hallway. They do not keep adequate items in the room… enough towels, no ironing board or iron, the refrig wasn’t on, the bathroom door barely shuts, I don’t even want to walk around on the floor. Granted the front desk guy was kind enough to bring us towels, but when asked about wifi or iron, there wasn’t much he was willing/able to do. Stay somewhere else!

Very clean! Staff at front desk is very helpful! The motel is very basic. The breakfast is a standard one; coffee, cereal, milk, orange juice, bagel, butter, jam. Room was basic but surprisingly larger than expected. Overall, it was well worth the price! I highly recommend it if you’re looking to not spend too much!

I won’t even bother enumerating the many ways in which the actual room was unclean and/or broken. Problem 1 was that we were placed in a smoking room even though we specifically requested a non-smoking. It wouldn’t have mattered anyways, since they put the smoking and non smoking rooms right next to each other and people smoke in the hallway. Day 2 they took our towels, didn’t service our room in any other way OR give us new towels back and we had to call the front office twice and were dealt with rather rudely when we asked if we could please have some towels back. I also witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal in the parking lot. A lot of the clientele seems to be long-term residents and they roam the halls at all hours. The real fun was the morning of day 3. At 9AM, despite having a do-not-disturb sign on our door, a front desk staff member knocked on our door and woke us up. When we called the front desk to ask what they needed they said they«wanted to see if we were checking out today because they weren’t sure how long we were staying». Ummm, shouldn’t you have a way to keep track of that without having to knock on our door and ask us? And what’s the point of a do-not-disturb sign if your staff ignores it. We stayed here because we were visiting family and it was the closest hotel to their home. We will never stay here again. If I could give it zero stars I would. Yes, it is economical, but considering how poorly run the place is what they charge is a total rip-off. Avoid this dump at all costs.

This is my second long-term stay here, and it probably won’t be my last. The rooms are appointed with standard motel-quality furnishings. I’ve stayed in four different rooms, and all four have been clean and in decent states of repair. The housekeeping staff is reasonably thorough. The continental breakfast is unimpressive, but it’s adequate if you’re only looking for a snack on your way out the door. Wifi is usable, but don’t plan to use it for online gaming or network-intensive office work. The manager and staff are always friendly, and will go out of the way to make sure everything is to your liking. I would have gone with a three-star rating if it weren’t for them. The weekly rates are the best I could find in the region. If you’re used to staying at the Hilton, this place is probably not for you. However, if you want a decent place to stay for a fantastic price, check it out.
