Prices are a little steep, but that’s Bikeline for you. I saw the same SLR in Florida for $ 3,000 less. $ 3000!!! That is worth a flight, hotel and sunny vacation! Stay away from the Wayne location, those crooks will just rip you off by adding chains, brakes and all kinds of BS to a tune up, when it’s not needed. If you enjoy bike line, stay with WC location.

So I brought a higher end carbon bike to be built up that was shipped in a standard bike box. Now I got the bike back in time and the guys are extremely friendly, but sadly it’s not only about being friendly. There technical abilities is absolutely atrocious. I went to ride the bike 3 days later and it was holding rear gears going up hill so brought it to a different shop. Turns out They didn’t set the front deraileur They messed up the rear deraileur They forgot a key space on the crank Didn’t torque the crank properly Didn’t torque the star nut on the stem And they put the chain ring on BACKWARDS. Sorry, again they are great people but the 1 star is due to there major messup

One of the greatest shopping experiences I have ever had. Not pushy on the sale, not upset I wanted the cheapest trek they had. Great staff and helped me find what I wanted and not what they wanted to sell. I had an issue with my purchase same day as I picked it up and they stayed open late to help me out. They fixed my problem and gave me a complimentary 5 year service policy. I look forward to being a customer for years to come.

While this may be an okay place for bikes, if you aren’t too picky on your selection, it isn’t so great for accessories or customer service. Periodic sales on certain pricey items such as cycling shoes seem to be even higher in price to regularly priced items at area competitors. The MOST disappointing thing about this bike shop is the service. The guy I purchased a $ 100 pair of shoes for sniffed and snorted and was outwardly cold and rude when I declined(several times) to purchase the more expensive pair he kept suggesting I buy. He also went so far to tell me that the shoes I was purchasing, FROMHIMANDHISSTORE, weren’t as good as a much more expensive pair I may find elsewhere. Snobbish, elitist, course and rude. Take a pass and visit one of the other local bike stores or better yet, take the short drive into Wilmington,(about 10 minutes away) and purchase your bike or accessories free of sales tax.
