History
Established in 1929.
On May 22, 1929 Raymond P. Scott Sr. incorporated and opened a Dodge-Plymouth dealership on the Main Line in Ardmore, Pa.
In order to help the war effort and keep his employees working Raymond P. Scott Sr. converted his entire Dodge-Plymouth dealership into a machine shop. From 1941 – 45 they built Grumman aileron controls for F4 °F Wildcats as well as catapult carts for Naval ships.
Dodge Plymouth was lost after the war and Scott became an «Exclusive Main Line» Lincoln-Mercury dealer.
In 1953 Raymond P. Scott Sr.‘s oldest son, Parry Scott signed on with General Motors to carry Oldsmobile, a highly sought-after franchise at the time. In 1969 Ray’s youngest son Craig C. Scott assumed ownership of a Chevrolet dealership from Roger Penske on Lehigh St. in Allentown, Pa., now run by Andrew Scott.
In 1984 Craig C. Scott and his brother Parry became the proud owners of a Honda franchise. The sleek, spacious and more energy efficient building we work in today was opened in September 2007.
