History

Established in 1997.

Started in Piketon, Ohio in 1976 when my father bought my brother a correspondence course. He became a pipe fitter, I became a locksmith.

Moved to Batesville, IN in 1988 and bought a locksmith business from an 83 year old man. He stayed with me for three years and I learned more from him than any course could teach me.

Moved to West Chester in 1993 and started working for a larger locksmith company in the area, learning from a variety of other locksmiths. Went back on my own after a few years due to my daughter’s illness — Mom had to stop working and stay at home with her, so I had to work for a company for our health insurance needs.

Was always a part-​time locksmith no matter what additional job I had from Project Manager to Shipping Clerk. I continue to learn every day — Only You Will Benefit From That Knowledge.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Single employee business, so you only deal with the owner. I have two children, both with cystic fibrosis. My daughter became an angel one month after double lung transplant and 12 days before her 21^st birthday. My son plays tennis for Norther Kentucky University and is very active every day.

My family is my inspiration and why I work each day. When you use Lang’s Locks, you are not only helping out a local business, but helping a family facing overwhelming difficulties.
