Very helpful nice people but glasses are expensive.

I called @ 8:45 AM on a Saturday morning to see if they had a particular style (group) of frame (s) on hand. The woman that answered asked if I could hold as soon as she picked up on the first ring. I said «sure», then proceeded to stay on hold for 7 minutes while I was forced to listen to what seemed like an endless battering of commercial advertising for their own office.
How good they are, the best brands, how we care for you, I must have heard 3 dozen different advertisements in the 7 minutes, but it was worse than Elevator Musak after the 5^th minute in a row. And I had them on speaker while watching the local news broadcast more than the phone…
If a place is that busy that they can leave first time callers on hold that long, then they are too busy to need another customer is the way I see it. If they happen to call me back later, apologize for the issue and explain why it happened, then I will rethink my opinion.

The Dr. s here are very nice and know what they are doing, I have been examined by two of the doctors and both are very knowledgeable. I have been going here for a few years now, and they remember me and my sisters, even when the visits where few and far between.
I had an eye issue not long ago and they were able to take care of me the same day. The reason for the 4 stars is because the frames are a bit pricey, it was hard to find a pair within my insurance that I didn’t have to pay out of pocket for.

Not too happy with their services plus all their frames are overpriced. Two stars only because Dr. is friendly

Jose and his staff is all about customer service! I had a slight issue and Jose went above and beyond. There’s no prefect office or perfect process, what makes a perfect experience is knowing a company/​office truly cares about your visit. I would highly recommend this office!

This place is a joke. We had problems scheduling appointments, them keeping appointments. It took them two months to order my husbands one year supply of contacts. They charged us almost $ 400 for the contacts that cost $ 210 at Walmart last year. After my husband gets his supply he throws the trials out. They are trials why would you keep them? He only got 3 pairs and asked about the 4^th. They told him the trials were the 4^th pair. Really??? A trial pair was supposed to last him three months? We went there because we just got vision insurance. Nope, I’d rather go to Walmart, Costco or LensCrafters any day and pay out of pocket. It’s cheaper and the service was 100% better.

While the doctor is extremely easy to work with and talk to her front staff is completely incompetent and rude! I would never recommend this location to anyone. There are so many better options in this area.

I go here for my hard contact lenses (gas permeable). No complaints. I love that they are open Saturday. Dr. Martinez is very knowledgable regarding hard contacts.

I was pleased with the service that the lady’s in the office provided until I attempted to purchase my frames else where and was told they didn’t close out the authorization on New years eve and were closed I couldn’t get my eyeglasses for my end of year prescription. Seriously upset and not satisfied

It was my first time here last month and I have to say I am very pleased with my experience. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Dr Martinez did my eye exam and she was so detailed and specific. They take really good care of their patients/​customers there. Everything is detailed and explained properly. They don’t rush and get you out of the door as soon as possible. Instead, they take their time and go through everything.
This is my new to go place for my glasses and contact lenses now!

Had to come in to reschedule my appointment, but the office is bigger than it looks from the outside. Nice selection of glasses and the staff are nice and very friendly.

Never again well I go to Vision one! The glasses were very expensive, the service was very poor, and I still can’t see good out of the clases. I’ve tried to take the glasses back and they wanted to try to recharge me.

I love seeing Dr Martinez, she is so professional & helpful. I will continue coming back.

We love the staff and the professionalism that my whole family recieves. We have referred many of our friends and family and they recieve the same care that we do.

My visit here was absolutely amazing. Although I wasn’t the patient, it was really interesting observing how Dr. Martinez interacts with her patients. She is very considerate and careful. I really like the office and design and felt the staff were extremely helpful. Dr. Martinez and the manager were both very helpful and I could tell they enjoy doing what they do. Overall, I felt Vision One Optometry was a very established office. I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Martinez! She is very helpful and very easy to talk to!

I came here a few times one with an eye infection that they were able to diagnose for me (not their primary field) but were able to point me to the right direction.
The other was for my annual eye check and it went perfect. Very comfortable being there and ended up getting a pair of prescribed sunglasses.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Martinez for many years. Shame on me for not posting a review sooner. The office is very nice. They just built out a beautiful facility with all state of the art equipment. The staff is very nice and extremely competent at their jobs. Dr. Martinez is also very dedicated and skilled.
Here’s a little anecdote about their service. Since no one is perfect, one time they forgot to take a needed measurement in order to get my bifocals exactly perfect. Like I said, nobody’s perfect and everybody makes mistakes sometimes. Well the next day they realized their mistake and sent one of their staff over to my place of business to do this quick measurement. I really appreciated it since I’m in La Habra and the drive to West Covina is about 45 minutes. They could’ve asked me to go over there which would be a bummer cuz I’m pretty busy. Or they could’ve just fudged it, I probably wouldn’t have known the difference. Instead they made the trip over to get it perfect. I appreciate service like that.
I recomend Vision One and Dr. Martinez without reservation. You will be pleased.

It took over 4 weeks to get my glasses, they told me it was due to the holidays and couldn’t give me a specific date of when to expect my glasses. They were always super-​crowded and seemed to be double-​booked every time I went in there. They weren’t the friendliest bunch I’ve encountered and had a small selection of frames, I won’t be returning.

This Optometry practice is excellent! My entire family has been going here for a while and I recently started going here when I needed glasses last year. The staff are great and the doctors are great.
Dr. Martinez examined me, made some suggestions, answered all of my questions and totally put me at ease, I was left confident with my choices. The staff helped me choose a cool pair a of frames for my progresive, transition bifocal lenses. Glassess arrived promptly. my out of pocket expense was not too bad for the high end glasses I chose, overall very reasonably priced.
I went there again this week [a year later] and had an exam for contacts, again Dr. Martinez took very good care of me. She answered all of my questions and helped me make a choice in the type of contacts I decided to go with. This place treats it’s patients and clients with care. They are prompt, fair prices, and follow up to make sure everything is going well. I look forward to eye exams here. I highly recommend Vision One Optometry to others.

Not good service. I spent $ 700 on contacts, it has been a week, I call everyday and no one will tell me when I can expect to receive them. The selection of frames is not great so I’ve been calling for a couple of days now trying to get my prescription faxed so I can go somewhere else and can’t seem to get that either. I was quoted one price for contact fitting then charged another when I show up. Dr. Martinez is good but not worth dealing with the unhelpful staff that you have to deal with the rest of the time.
