Our office is very conveniently located in the Sunset Medical tower. An orthodontic practice specializing in extra-​ordinary care, ‘invisible’ treatment for all ages of adults, Invisalign and the very best quality pediatric orthodontics.

Dr. Aronowitz is an accomplished, respected and highly qualified orthodontist using the very latest techniques in orthodontic treatment. Driven to excellence in both technical acumen and patient rapport. Dr. Aronowitz has been a clinical professor at USC for over 20 years and serves as an Orthodontic Legal expert. As a father of four children and seven grandchildren, Dr. A takes pride in treating every single child as his own. Dr. Aronowitz’ father was a dentist in New York and wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father. He loves what he does and it exudes in his work. His formal dental training was at The Hebrew University, Hadassah Dental School in Jerusalem and USC. Dr. Aronowitz is currently a Clinical Professor of Orthodontics at USC. He is a past president of The Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry and chairman of Orthodontic Peer Review at The Los Angeles Dental Society.

There is no question about it, Doctor Aronowitz is a top notch orthodontist and a top notch human being. Caring and considerate he provides quality care to give people beautiful smiles. I have found out that other dentists ask for his opinion when they are having challenging issues that need answers. Dr Aronowitz is a university professor and chairman of the orthodontic peer review board. He really know his stuff!

After I posted this Unilocal review, I received a private message from Dr. Aronowitz. He admitted that my results were horrific, but said that the two doctors involved in my treatment, my orthodontist and the surgeon who did my surgery, were at fault.
When I saw him in Los Angeles he knew that I asked him for his expert opinion about my orthodontic treatment that I already had, and he agreed to write an unbiased evaluation report about it. After I saw him, and he already knew that part of the roots of my lower incisors were in the gum, he still offered a six month, $ 6,000 treatment plan to align my lower teeth. He completely ignored the purpose of my visit, and did not mention that he was going to write an opinion on my treatment. I told Dr Aronowitz that my periodontist and another orthodontist told me that several teeth were close to falling out and I could not seek further orthodontic treatment. He told me that if the periodontist predicted multiple tooth loss, I might have a strong legal case and he’d be one of my experts. I sent the periodontal report to him, and he never responded ever again. I emailed him several times for an opinion letter, and he ignored me completely.
I saw on his website that he’s a clinical professor of orthodontics at USC, and my orthodontist was a professor in the Bay Area. Under these cases, it would be very unlikely that they don’t know each other. The things he told me in his private message were said way after my statute of limitations expired, so there is absolutely no point in him saying that to me now. Thank you for completely ruining my case, Dr Aronowitz!!!

There are so many orthodontists out there that will just sell everyone the same treatment if they need it or not. Dr Aronowitz is not that kind of orthodontist. Not only is he great with kids and adults alike but he is honest and stands behind his work. My son has a complex issue with his bite and Dr Aronowitz helped us to see all the options with all the pros and cons of each and allowed us to make the decision that would work best for our son over the long term. I can not recommend Dr Aronowitz and his office highly enough.

Because I wrote my review back in 2011, I wanted to post an update to emphasis how wonderful Dr. Aronowitz is. I am currently in maintenance mode with visits every 6 months and my teeth look great. All of the reasons that I mentioned in my first review still stand true today. He is the absolute best!

I so wish I had been the first one to say «Run, don’t walk» to Dr. Aronowitz. I not only ran, I drove 270 miles one way for my appointments… THAT’S how much I love him!
Background… I’m in my 50’s, had braces when I was a kid but never wore my bottom retainer, so my bottom teeth became very crooked, over crowded, with one tooth being pushed behind the others.
Fast forward to now… I went to three orthodontists in Vegas, where I now live. All three said I needed top and bottom braces for approx. 15 months; one wanted to pull teeth, and two said I should get jaw surgery. At my age I wasn’t willing to go that route.
Fast forward again… I mailed Dr. Aronowitz my x-​rays and photos that I got from the other doctors, waited only about 2 days before he personally called me, asked me what «I» wanted; I told him what I DIDN’T want (which was everything the other doctor’s told me I needed); Dr. A told me he thought the other treatment plans were overkill to which I agreed. I knew before I even hung up the phone that I was going to drive to L.A. and become Dr. Aronowitz’s patient. And that’s exactly what I did.
Fast forward again to ten weeks later: My teeth are perfection! Dr. Aronowitz is fantastic, honest, explains everything in detail, his staff is great. I could go on and on but I think you can tell how happy I am with my results. Best thing I’ve done for myself in years. Thank you, Dr. Aronowitz!

I wore braces as a child and faithfully wore my retainer for years. Then I stopped. For about 3 years I watched my once straight teeth become crooked. But by now, I was in my early 30’s with children and career. The thought of braces again or even the quote unquote «invisible braces» horrified me. I did a lot of research and visited a few orthodontists, but didn’t like what any of them proposed. When I went to see Dr. Aronowitz he introduced a brand new idea to me that I still refer to as «adult removable braces». OMG! I could live with this! The appliance looks like a retainer, but Dr. Aronowitz adjusted it every visit to straighten my teeth! I wore it faithfully most of the time, but if I really needed to look «normal» at an event or a presentation… I could remove it! Absolute genius!!! My teeth were (and still are!) beautiful once again. Dr. Aronowitz is the BEST!!! I’m totally indebted to him! Yes, I now wear my retainer every night (I actually can’t sleep well without it!) and still enjoy my perfectly straight and beautiful teeth. Not only is Dr. Aronowitz a genius… he is so kind, thoughtful, calming, and professional. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this amazing orthodontist. I recommend him so highly. BTW… he also did the braces for both of my children with fabulous results. One of them was a particularly difficult mouth. Now my kids are in their 20’s with beautiful smiles. I’ve warned them about being diligent about wearing their retainers, but you you know how kids are!

I brought in my then 12 year old son for a consultation with Dr. Aronowitz. He had two sets of teeth growing on the upper gum, an extreme overbite, and lowering self esteem due to his teeth. Dr. Aronowitz was not only compassionate during our visit he sent home a follow up letter regarding his case! This was unexpected, and very eye opening. When you have a professional admit to it being a learning case, and excited to work on his mouth, I knew he was the right fit for us.
My son has had an expander, braces, and now a retainer. He treats both of my sons with kindness and is extremely knowledgable and goes over the progress and what he has done.

I’m nearing the end of my treatment and I’m so glad I chose Dr. Aronowitz as my orthodontist.
His staff worked with my dental insurance and my flexible spending account, making the most of my company benefits. It involved faxing claims and receipts. I’m especially thankful for that.
My case involved removing 4 teeth, moving the remaining teeth, then replacing the teeth with implants/​crowns. Dr. A connected me with both an outstanding oral surgeon and a dentist to do the restoration.
The staff are warm and friendly and Dr. A is professional, practical and honest.

Short version — run, dont walk, to Dr Aronowitz if you’re looking for an orthodontist.
Long version — I’m a guy in my 40’s with quite a few wonky teeth. I finally decided to go about getting them straightened because I was having difficulty cleaning them properly and developed gum issues.
My wife had done Invisalign and I was hoping that would work but unfortunately my teeth were too crooked for it to work.
Saw a highly recommended, very good orthodontist who’s plan was to go with regular metal braces… and pull 4 teeth to make room for the necessary movement! Not the news I wanted to hear but seemingly, not an uncommon treatment.
Anyway, enough of the scary, depressing stuff — let’s get to Dr Aronowitz. Found his reviews on Unilocal,when researching someone to go to for a second opinion. Along with all the usual methods, Dr Aronowitz also works with something called a Crozat Appliance. Instead of having to pull 4 teeth and wear metal braces 24⁄7 for 2 years, I’m now spending those two years with no teeth pulled and wearing Crozat appliances top and bottom — they’re a type of removable brace, so I can take them off for meals and cleaning. I’ve had them for 6 months so far and it’s totally cool how much my teeth have moved. Once a month I go in for an adjustment and I actually look forward to it because I get a kick out of seeing how much Dr A obviously loves his work.

What I like most about this practice is the privacy and the one on one care that Dr. Aronowitz and his staff provide. So many dental practices are crowded and the rooms accommodate lots of people. Here you really feel like you are the center of Dr. A’s attention when he is with you. He is very low key, patient, and kind. It is like a boutique dental spa! I have taken a friend here (she does not drive) for a few months and she always comes out of the office smiling, and her smile is improving greatly with the orthodontic care that Dr. A. provides. My friend is a young adult and often ‘forgets’ to change her bands and Dr. A is warm and encouraging, never judgmental or condescending, for her to get her treatment on track.
I have to make a special note that the staff here is phenomenally friendly and accommodating. We are always greeted cheerfully, and when we have had to change appointments or call for information, the staff has been extremely gracious.
Going to the orthodontist is not supposed to be fun… but I have to say I really look forward to visiting Dr. A’s office!

I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Aronowitz! He is a wonderful orthodontist and such a nice man. My father is a dentist back east, so I get incredibly nervous about having another dentist or orthodontist handle my teeth; however, Dr. Aronowitz made all of those fears go away. He made me feel so comfortable, as he is extremely thorough, patient and knowledgeable. It was such a wonderful experience… I would absolutely refer anyone needing orthodontics to Dr. Aronowitz!!!

Imagine a successful broadcast journalist at the age of 40 decides to have her teeth straightened. She’s sent to a Beverly Hills Orthodontist not knowing what to expect (and thinking it’s too late for improvement).
Wow! Dr. A is a miracle worker. In a ridiculously short amount of time, he gave me a beautiful, wide smile for the first time in my life. I didn’t even require permanent braces — just removable appliances that I wore at night time. I am proud to say that many years later, I am still a national broadcaster – and I’m sure I owe much of that to the worlds greatest orthodontist!

Oh boy! You don’t even want to know what my teeth looked like before Dr. Aronowitz!
My case my very difficult, I didn’t just have crooked teeth, I had an under bite and crooked teeth, that means my lower jaw/​teeth stuck out further than my upper jaw! I looked like a cave man!
I didn’t want to go through the very painful and expensive jaw surgery so I began to explore my orthodontic options. After seeing many orthos I finally decided on Dr. Aronowitz and couldn’t be happier today!
He worked very closely with my oral surgeon when developing my treatment plan (the surgeon implanted anchors into the back of my jaw which Dr. A then used to pull my bottom teeth back) and transformed my smile. He is extremely gentle and precise. He works on your teeth like a work of art! Even with all my crying and blubbering he remained very caring, which I appreciated so much bc it was such an emotional process for me.
I must also say that for adults his office is great bc there are private rooms for each patient, the last thing I wanted was to cry in front of a 12 year old in the chair next to me!
Today, I get constant compliments on my teeth and smile more than ever, seriously! I use to never smile in photos, now I love, love, love my teeth!
I owe Dr. Aronowitz a lot, he really did change my life! I would recommend him to anyone, esp adults and esp the cry babies!

I will have my last visit to Dr. A next month. In slightly over a year I have gone from overcrowded teeth to a beautiful straight smile while retaining the dignity of an adult who could not bear to wear braces by having removable appliances. Many of my co-​workers and friends had no idea I was even undergoing orthodontic treatment since I had full control of when and how long I wore my retainer.
Dr. A is realistic, honest, kind and progressive. I actually have enjoyed my monthly visits to his office getting to know him and his amazing staff. I am going to miss them!
It was a painless, fast and affordable journey to a fabulous smile.
