Megan Gibbons Brows

I had to take the weekend getting used to my newly shaped brows, but now I love them. I had overtweezed them in the 90’s and I spent 2 years trying to grow them out. They just didn’t want to comply! Even with Latisse, the only new growth were just stray hairs on just one side! Megan diligently shaped my brows without judgement. I am really happy with my now presentable brows! You will be so glad you went to her.

I was getting my hair cut and colored by my wonderful hairstylist, Erin Athey. I had noticed how natural yet groomed her eyebrows always look. So I asked her where she gets them done. She was more than happy to recommend the «2 brows’ sisters» down the hallway from her. I looked them up on Unilocal right away, saw all the raving reviews and booked my first appointment with them online for 2 hrs later.
Easy-​peasy — and my brows have never looked nearly as good as they did after Megan Gibbons had her way with them!

I’ve been going to Megan since 2012. She is the absolute best with brows. l have never once left disappointed and I go monthly. I get so many compliments on my brows and it’s all owed to Megan who is a master at shape and hiding any patchy areas I may have. I highly recommend Megan as someone who is super anal about how my eyebrows look.

Love this place! My brows always look beautiful and Megan is sooo fast! It is very hard for me to trust people with my brows (they’re my favorite) and I’m really picky. But Megan always does a great job and I trust her and her opinion. I would and do recommend everyone to go there they’re great!

I LOVE Meghan! She is a brow artist! I have been seeing her for over 4 years and two locations. Yes, $ 40 is a lot, but it’s your face! She makes you look amazing, but natural. I highly recommend her.

I was looking for European Wax Center and walked into Salon Republic by mistake. I asked if they could do an eyebrow wax, and they made it seem like I was really lucky to get an appointment last minute there.
So I went to Megan. She did a quick 10 min eyebrow and lip wax. I guess I should’ve asked the price before, but I definitely didn’t expect it to be $ 60 before tip for a quick wax job.
She’s nice and all, but it’s not like my eyebrows looked any different than a $ 10/​$ 15 wax or eyebrow threading job. She offered to draw or put makeup on my brows, which I’ve never done before, but I don’t need any shaping or makeup as I have a natural arch.
So for $ 60 something I can do at home by myself, not really worth it for me. But the rest of her reviews are great, so if you do need some shaping etc of the eyebrows, don’t let me review deter you.

My preferred (and only!) hair stylist, Erin Athey referred me to the Gibbons sisters down the hall after I complimented her on her amazing eyebrows. Megan is a true miracle worker — she took my sparse brows and was able to give them an amazing shape I didn’t think was possible. She understands how to keep your brows as full as possible while still keeping them neat and giving you an arch tailored to your face. Go to her once and you’ll never trust your brows to anyone else!

She is absolutely amazing. An eyebrow guru. Once she does your brows you will not want anyone else to do them! I recommend her 100%.

Sisters Megan & Amanda Gibbons are The Brow MASTERS of LA. I stopped seeing Anastasia (after going to her for More than 10 Years) when her prices climbed to an astronomically ridiculous $ 150! Plus a 3 month wait time for an appointment… that is just Insane. I am SO glad I found The Gibbons sisters — they are equally as fantastic and for a much better price. I am a Brow Fanatic and they are the only 2 who I trust to Wax my Eyebrows. They will not mess them up. If you have jacked-​up brows, they will get you back on the right path to beautiful brows. Getting your brows done here is the best your brows will ever look. No joke! I have been to brow specialist in NYC, Chicago, London and here in LA from living in each place. I can be very particular and am a bit of a brow snob. Megan has transformed my face to look younger and more attractive. Both Amanda and her sister Megan (the Gibbons girls, as I like to call them) are absolutely amazing at what they do! I work down the hall from their studio at Salon Republic and I go to them both when either one can squeeze me in. I am constantly impressed with their attention to detail, their passion for their craft, and for the warm reception I always receive in their studio. I will never ever go back to shaping my brows on my own again because I really do look so much better since I decided to leave it to these professionals. I completely agree with Megan’s reviewer who said getting your brows done here is like getting a mini facelift. It’s true! I get compliments on my brows now constantly (which NEVER happened before) and I refer all of my clients here. You cannot go wrong with the Gibbons girls! I have had the pleasure of having Megan as my brow artist for the past 4 years. Being that I am from Ventura County, every time I visit Megan I drive 2 hrs round trip because it is more than worth it. She is the ultimate artist and so friendly and personable. I’ve been going to Megan for about 5 years now… she is truly the best. I’ve been having my eye brows done since I was in high school and no one made them look like Meghan does. It’s a little hard to explain in words why she is so much better (It’s a brow technique), you just have to get them done bye her and you will know exactly what I am talking about. Clean, perfect eye brows can transform your face when they are done correctly… it’s almost like a mini face lift :). Hands down, Meghan is the Best Brow Specialist in the city. She is like crack, once you go Gibbons, you can’t go back!!!

Before I started using Megan, I did not recognize what a huge difference a good eyebrow wax could make. I had been to a handful of other salons, and the results ranged from horrible (uneven, too much, not enough), to better-​than-​before I walked in (which isn’t saying much). After Megan shaped my brows for the first time, I felt like I had had a complete makeover, not simply less eyebrow hair. I have been a regular customer of hers ever since.

First went to Megan at Billion Dollar Brows and she transformed my unruly eyebrows like no one else could. Just went to her new salon and I’m happier than ever. Highly recommend!
