I used to go to exclusive salons for my color and they never have managed to do my color as amazing as Carmen does here in her salon! She has every beauty product you can imagine at great prices! I get two blow-​outs a week and she always makes me look amazing!!! See picture!

Horrible blow dry. Save yourself having to do it again and visit Blow Me Away just a few blocks down on Melrose. Plus you’ll get free champagne, coffee, tea and excellent service.
Had to re-​do this myself when I got home. Felt like a compete amateur was blowdrying my hair. Took her all of 10 minutes and god knows what product she used but it has f*cked up my hair too.
Oh well…
A week later, still no response from the business, yet full refund from Groupon. Baffles me how they afford the rent in such a prime location yet have such shoddy service. The owner or manager seemed nice enough, but I guess I wasn’t deemed profitable enough for a good blowout, so I was given her employee.
Save your money and go to Blow Me Away on Melrose and Crescent Heights. They move the hair brush with confidence and speed… and … serve you champagne in the process!

Carmen is amazing. I have gone to her for blow dries. She is so quick and my hair always looks great. I have gone to many places to get blow dries, so I know how good she is. She is also a really lovely person! The prices are reasonable and their is meter parking on the street.
Don’t let some of the older reviews turn you off. This was previously owned by someone else and Carmen took over. She’s wonderful!

Carmen did a color correction and treatment on my hair that was not even over processed but orange! My hair turned out amazing and the shine is back! Thank you for making me feel beautiful!

Have been a customer here for years. Haven’t gotten the time to praise this company until now :) Carmen does a fantastic job styling my hair and yet making me feel like I’m at home. The ability to cut my hair and then cut female hair astonishes me. As a big and short man it’s hard to feel like a BAUS! She does it easily. You guys should try her out, you won’t regret it.

The owner– I can’t remember her name– is horrendous! She uses cheap, cheap, CVS products in her salon– yet sells top-​of-​the-​line products in her retail store– and is just flat out rude about everything.
Because they use such cheap products, I had brought my own hair conditioning mask with me, and asked to sit under the dryer for a few minutes.
When I proceeded to pay for the service, the owner comes out of nowhere to intervene and asks my stylist– who was ringing me up– if I had received a deep conditioning treatment. The stylist said no; I said no– I brought my own conditioner– and then the owner tells me and my stylist I still have to pay $ 15 for the application! FLAT OUT RUDE.
I told her to go jump in a lake, and did not pay.
The sad thing is that I really liked my stylist’s blowdrys, and I was becoming a regular (I live right across the street, literally).
The sad part about the products is that the salon is actually a beauty supply store!!! They sell good products! But in there salon area, they use Frizz Ease (CVS) and old, dirty, empty, smelly expired products!
This place is a nightmare. Don’t go here.
