History

Established in 2003.

Gueros Juice is a family owned restaurant. The Negrete Family after many years as migrant workers saved enough money to begging their real american dream. They break the taco and burrito restaurant stereotype in mexican cuisine and introduce a new kind of mexican dish that soon became a favorite among Utans. La Torta is a sandwich served with a variety of home prepared meats, and garnished, with fresh vegetables that include fresh avocados and pickled jalapeños. 4 Stars for Guero’s. I used to stop by their Ogden location, which is now closed, for their delicious shakes (Strawberry being my favorite). The West Valley location is very good and the shakes are great, i’ve tried the Strawberry and Mango and these are indeed some of the best fruit shakes i’ve ever had, La Torta sandwich is delicious and they give you a variety of meats to choose from for your sandwich like Pollo (Chicken), my personal favorite is the Chicharron (Pork). The sandwich had great flavor but the presentation left a little bit to be desired, it was a little light on the meat and heavy on the cabbage topping and appeared to be a bit rushed but the flavor and fresh ingredients made up for it and it is definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in the WVC area.
