Wonderful homemade ice cream. I usually get the black raspberry chocolate chip, but I recommend trying everything. I’ve not had a bad flavor yet.

Durring the peak summer season there’s always a line out the door. But that’s for a good reason, you won’t find better ice cream. I look forward to their monthly specials, still hoping they bring back tangerine cream my favorite. They have lots of great flavors and varieties of ice cream, sorbet, and sundaes. Oh yes they should also bring back the purple haze sundae that was really great. I will always choose Greater’s over the over-rated and pretentious Jennis, sometimes you just want honest good ice cream and they deliver. It’s just hit and miss how fast the service goes.

One of my favorite places to get ice cream, and is a huge place for summer days and nights. They have amazing ice cream sandwhiches that are to die for! I love getting cookies and cream and cookie dough. I only have 1 issue with this place and its the price. One of the most expensive ice cream places i know, its the reason i dont eat here too often. But they have amazing ice cream and if you have some money id suggest you visit this place sometime.

Good gelato, and a wonderful assortment of flavors. I still favor some other places to Graeter’s, but it’s still pretty solid.

Place is solid. Great service. Ice cream isn’t as good as Jeni’s, but their new gelato is extremely good.

This is hands down the best ice cream you will EVER have! Don’t be put off by it being on the more expensive side for ice cream. You get what you pay for and then some! The ice cream is creamy, and rich, and if you get a flavor with chocolate chunks, you’re in for a treat! They’re thick and never waxy like other brands of ice cream!

Graeter’s is the best ice cream of all time. There is nothing that can beat it. Not even Jeni’s who worked for Graeter’s before opening her own shop. The Westerville location is awesome. The manager was welcoming and helpful but also very personable and professional. It was an all around awesome experience– ice cream included. We will be back!

I love their black raspberry chip which is saying something since I would list chocolate ice cream as my favorite food. It is like eating the color purple and that is my favorite color. I have tried a lot of ice cream and this is definitely in my top five. The chocolate chips — crazy big. I love it when I get a huge one; so good! If you like ice cream, you need to stop by one of the Graeter’s locations. You will not be disappointed.

We go here to get ice cream occasionally and everything I’ve ever gotten here is simply delicious and awesome. The place is always pretty busy, it seems the cool thing to do for Westervillians(is that a name??) is to go to Graeters on a Friday or Saturday and hang out and eat ice cream. The place always has plenty of servers and the line, while it may be long, flows through without delay. Their ice cream is a little more expensive than some places but that’s because it’s the best quality. The last couple of times we’ve eaten here the place has been kind of hot so I think they may be having some air conditioner troubles but it’s not intolerable and, if it’s not too hot out, they do have outdoor seating. They also sell some cute ice cream bowls and scoops, we got a really cool scoop last trip here. Highly recommended, but not too often or your doctor will yell at you! :)

The ice cream was very good! I recommend the chocolate dipped pretzel cone. I got mine filled with a scoop of peanut butter cup. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is due to the price. It was 4.25 for a small single scoop on a small cone. The help was very friendly(bordering on too friendly) and they kept trying to upsell me. I know it’s their job but sheesh, I’m already paying close to 5 bucks for a scoop. Only ask once please.

Greater’s is a regional chain based out of Cincinnati but has the feel of a local ice cream parlor. Fantastic ice cream. Generally, I’m a «chocolate» kind of guy but this is one of the few places where I’ve actually tried some of their other flavors. Many of their flavors have chocolate chunks(not chips — but actual chunks of chocolate) in them. On a warm summer evening expect to find the line out the door onto the sidewalk. If you like ice cream — you need to try Graeter’s.

This place is very good! One of my favorite places to get a CHOCOLATEMILKSHAKE!!! I can’t even explain how good it is. I can’t complain too much but here is my only problem: Graeter’s is fairly clean, but I have sat on ice cream before! Let me tell you this is NOT comfortable… And that’s not so bad! Overall it’s very good and I will be returning.

It’s a Westerville classic — this is just another 5 star vote. Anything with chocolate chips here is banging. I love the Buckeye Sunday!

I’ve lived in Central Columbus my whole life, but I was born and raised in Westerville. My birthplace has solidified in me my love for any and all ice cream because central Ohio is home to not one, but TWO of the greatest ice cream spots in the country. The first one and the newer option is Jeni’s Ice Cream, a place I love and adore. But if you want classic flavors and texture, you have to come to Graeter’s. They have the best, creamiest, and comforting ice creams. My favorite flavors are classic vanilla, butter pecan, and raspberry chip. And if you’re lucky enough to visit in fall, get the Pumpkin Pie. It’s to die for. Also, upgrade to a waffle or pretzel cone. You won’t regret it. Or maybe you will… because you won’t be able to stay away.

Upside: free Graeter’s mug! Downside: that means I spent over $ 100 since I started coming here. Over $ 100. On ice cream. Curse you and your wonderful, tastes-just-like-butter Butter Pecan ice cream!

I miss Graeter’s. Granted I can get it in the grocery store here in Portland but it’s not the same. I love the 1870 tower sundae and the atmosphere. I tried the pumpkin ice cream and it was very good. It wasn’t heavy on the spices which tends to happen with pumpkin flavored treats.

Irresistible. Graeter’s couldn’t have found a more fitting slogan if they tried. This has always been my favorite ice cream in Westerville, hands down. With at least four or five other ice cream places within a few blocks, I’ll choose Graeter’s every time. I’ve had almost every flavor of ice cream and have yet to find one I don’t like. Although, despite how much I love all the other flavors, I still find it nearly impossible to choose anything other than Black Raspberry Chip. Seriously, nothing compares. BONUS: I’ve also discovered that you’re most likely to find the biggest chocolate chunks in this flavor. Really. They’re almost the size of a candy bar. Even when the line is out the door and the place is packed(and lets be honest, that’s most hot summer nights), the staff is still super friendly and ready to offer samples. The benches outside are the perfect place to enjoy your ice cream. I’m convinced that ice cream was intended to be enjoyed while outside and people watching, so the outside seating creates the ideal ice cream experience. So I guess what I’m saying is, you HAVE to try Graeter’s. Between the delicious ice cream, quality staff, and the experience itself, you will not be disappointed.

This place is off the chain. You absolutely must try the coconut chip ice cream. Simply amazing. I just had a ridiculous dinner with way too much food and I’m getting hungry just thinking about it the ice cream I had 8 hours ago. I also had a wild-cherry phosphate. I know, phosphate… sounds weird right? Or at least it sounded gross to me as I’m a chemistry nerd, but it’s basically carbonated water mixed with a syrup topping of your choice – in other words: it’s an awesome soda. In summary, great selection, strong service, decent pricing and absolutely stunning ice-cream. A must try.

First off I would like to say that I have been living in Westerville for more than 18 years and there is no ICECREAM(not frozen yogurt) place in all of Westerville that compares. There is a Dairy Queen 6 or so blocks away that cannot even compare to the quality of ice cream that Graeters provides to its customers. I have been going to Graeters since I could walk and I have tried most all of their flavors from their regular ice cream to their sorbet to their MONSTROUS sundaes. All of it is amazing, I suggest you try all the different flavors. IFYOUARE A SNOBBYRICHPERSONLOOKINGFORSUPERUNIQUEFANCYFLAVORSTHATHAVECOMBINATIONSOFCAYENNEPEPPERANDICECREAMAKASTUPIDCOMBINATIONSOFSTUFFGOELSEWHERETHISPLACEAIN’T FORYOU. The wonderful thing about trying all the different flavors is THATYOUCANSAMPLEANYFLAVORYOUWANT!!! This feature is amazing and I always try new flavors that I have not had yet as well as their brand new flavors. The unique thing about Graeters is that they have seasonal flavors for EVERY different season. In the fall they usually have an amazing Pumpkin ice cream that tastes like someone mashing up a pumpkin pie into some savory vanilla. In the winter, they usually have a great Peppermint flavor. You get the picture of the vast flavors they have. Graeters is opened up year round and provides a VERY thick and chunky ice cream. Consistently in most all of their chocolate chunk ice creams you will find chunks the size of quarters an amazing treat that always makes my mouth water when thinking about em. SUGGESTIONS: Black Raspberry Chip and the Buckeye Blitz are the consist winners of my heart for getting regular ice cream scoops. I always get my ice cream in a waffle cone and now recently(they added these years back) the chocolate dipped waffle cone. If you still want a waffle cone without all the mess I suggest getting a waffle boat. The sundaes here are amazing and I suggest getting their 1870 Tower sundae which consists of a brownie, a scoop of black raspberry chip ice cream, topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, pecans and a cherry. My brother always tends to get the milkshakes and I believe you can ask for any of the flavors in it? Please do not quote me as I do not know 100%. If sorbets are your thing, I suggest trying a fresh fruit sorbet. I love the Lemon flavor the most, but their Raspberry and Strawberry are still both great(have not tried Mango yet). Graeters does have a wide variety of ice cream cakes and pies and every year I get the Buckeye Blitz pie. This pie is basically a chocolate and peanut butter lovers dream with half of a Reese’s around the outside of the pie around the whole pie. As well as ice cream cakes and pies, they sell their ice cream in different size containers from ½ pints to 56 ounces. Try Graeters you will never be disappointed that is a guarantee(unless you hate dairy products).
