This is one of those old school style gyms where you Must go if u wanna get stronger. If you’re a cardio bunny. Don’t bother. If you’re really into strength. This is a holy gym. Why? The price is extremely affordable. The trainers are very nice and very helpful. They have a chiropractor in house too. Doc Rath is very knowledgeable and helped me with my problems. After just 1 day. I knew I had to sign up.

I came in to see Peter for my tendinitis issue. He applied multiple techniques to relieve the pain. He was attentive and genuine in the work he does. Not only that, he performed actual chiropractor work on my back, shoulders, and neck. Peter fixed me up! Thank you!

Probably one of the best strength and conditioning coaches I’ve ever had. Always trying to get in here when I’m available.

TL;DR:
Learn from my mistakes and work with a coach who’s a lifetime athlete, who’s had personal and coaching success, and has a deep and thorough understanding of the human body and movement. Casey’s your guy. —– I’m an Average Jane who’s been fortunate enough to work with Instagram-famous elite powerlifters(with whom I had never felt simultaneously so strong, unfit and immobile) and then to be pulled under the wing of a couple of old-school«dual-athlete» NPC/PNBA and powerlifting champions(whom I left being unable to walk upright or straighten my arms). They were lifters who had experienced personal success, but were unable to translate that success into effective coaching or to tailor their systems to individual needs. So, after weeks of physical therapy and months of rebuilding my self-confidence, you can understand why I was very skeptical when I contacted House of Power … but Casey hit all of the right notes. He and the rest of the coaching staff will push you to improve AND take care of you. They won’t let you cheat yourself. They’ll modify each exercise to match your ability, and they’ll show you exercises and stretches to target your imbalances and weaknesses. It’s really quite amazing to see their mastery in action and hear their on-the-fly analysis. I’ve only attended the bootcamp 3x/week for about 5 weeks now, but I’ve noticed dramatic improvements in my power, movement quality and conditioning. I’ve never felt more athletic and mobile. To give you an idea of how far I’ve come … The day before I started with Casey, I was completely wiped out after biking just 8 miles. Yesterday, I was able to easily ride 50 mi(@ 16 mph) on a whim without any cycling-specific training and only a leisurely ~30 mi ride on the weekends. I haven’t re-tested the Big Three yet, but it BLOWSMYMIND that I have this level of conditioning while approaching or surpassing my previous best lifts(229 squat/97 bench/251 deadlift @ 127 lbs), when I was doing powerlifting-specific programming and the thought of doing ANY cardio was daunting. You don’t have to be an athlete to workout here or to benefit from athletic performance training. Seriously, just go talk to Casey already. Thank you Casey, Nyck, Cynthia and the rest of the HOP team/community!

I started training at the House of Power almost two years ago, and it was the best decision I could have made for my athletic career. I’ve always been a strong guy in the gym, but this place really does transform you and take you to a whole new level. The proof is in the fact that out of high school I was a junior college caliber football player and, after training here for my two junior college years, I was able to advance myself and receive a Division I NCAA scholarship to play inside linebacker at Sacred Heart University. My dreams came true and I would be a liar to say that this place wasn’t wasn’t ABSOLUTELYVITAL in getting me where I am today. The owner, Casey Garrison, goes above and beyond for his athletes and will truly do whatever it takes to get them where they want to go. As long as your athlete is committed and puts in the work, great results are 100% guaranteed. No doubt about it. Heck, I put 30, 30, and 40 pounds on my bench, power clean, and squat(respectively) in the first five months training here. The trainers here are incredibly knowledgeable in regards to the body, how it works, and proper athletic nutrition, and they are sincerely enthusiastic about sharing this knowledge with their athletes. Not only is this place second to none as an athletic training facility, but the athletes that train at House of Power are a family. I’ve made friendships here sure to last me a lifetime. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The hours are online, take some time and see for yourself!

Heard about this place through a friend and loved it. Everyone is humble — you won’t run into a bro flexing in the mirror and trying to size everyone up. The staff is very knowledgeable and help give tips whenever they see something that can be improved. Training here increased my maxes and improved my form significantly. As long as you’re motivated and serious about improving, this place is perfect.

Great gym with excellent trainers. I’ve seen many of their athletes coming in with great results. Not only do they increase athletic performance, they also focus on injury prevention that’ll prolong athletic career. With plenty of experience in the field of fitness and health as a Kinesiology major, I can confidently say these guys know their stuff. Training here is definitely worth it, and I would recommend it to friends and family.

I heard about the House of Power and Casey through a fellow athlete at Golden West college. I was skeptical to start training at the house because I already had a trainer who I was very loyal too, but taking a tour of the gym and talking to the trainer convinced me to leave my trainer and start training at the house of power. It was the best decision that I’ve made for my baseball career. Before going I suffered an umbilical hernia and Casey gave me so much advice that for a couple of months I played and trained with the hernia before i decided to just get surgery. After the surgery I went full time to the gym and have made unbelievable gains. I not only lost fat, but I also gained immense amounts of muscle, strength, and speed. Before training my 60 yard dash was 7.1 seconds which is average speed and expected as a first baseman. After training for 7 months my 60 time has gotten down to a 6.7 and is unbelievable amount of speed for a corner guy. After my sophomore season at Golden West I got a lot of attention from D1 scouts and now I’m going to continue my baseball career at Butler University. The amount of knowledge that the trainers have is insane, they have helped me and pushed me to limits I never thought I could reach. If you want to get in the best shape in your life or want to reach the next level in the sport you’re playing I suggest you drop the training program you have now and immediately call up the House of Power and start making gains you never thought you could! These guys are awesome!

Hidden Gem of Westminster /Huntington Beach. This is a warehouse gym owned by a Professional Strongman but without the attitude of superiority. It’s not your CrossFit box, with a WOD of a day type of place. If you want functional training, you can get that in a personal or group training here, and watch your strength excel, safely, beyond your wildest imagination. While this is a place for many top high school and college athletes to train, power lifters, strongman, body builders, and etc… it’s also accessible to your average guy, like myself. I’ve been going to this gym for about a year and half. I’ve had one of their trainers completely transform my health, my strength, and my overall look on life. I was/am a fatty weighing in at over 300lbs, with not a lot of muscle. Could barely do a few push ups, no pulls ups, couldn’t move my hips for a proper squat, and don’t even ask about climbing a rope. I’ve lost over 50 lbs, but have put on a lot of muscle, climbing ropes, multiple pull ups, push ups for days, and putting numbers up that would concern some regional power lifters. I was in a group class with 250+ year old guys that would put most their age to shame. I posted this review, because, I was amazed to not find them on here. I think people don’t want this place to blow up like a crossfit place, because of how great it is and keep it less busy, but to me, that’s selfish. My life has changed for the better, and I hope others can find a way to do it for them self.
