When we first moved to Winfield we ordered from Addantes and it was ok. The second time we ordered the service was horrible. I recommend going to Macianos in Winfield. We have ordered from Macianos many times and they are great. Always friendly and they have great pizza. Try Macianos first before going anywhere else in Winfield.

Their food is great especially the meatballs their delivery service is terrible ordered at 550 on a Saturday. After 1 he and 20 min called they said on its way. 40 minutes later I called cancelled order and the 10 min later delivery came. I refused it and driver and person were RUDE and could care less that 2 hrs later our food arrived this has happened 3x. Never will order again.

Unlike the other previous reviewers, I didn’t order at a peak ordering time – I ordered at 5PM on a Sunday late afternoon – oh and it’s not football season either. So, they said that my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes, and lo and behold, it was ready when I got there. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza because I love Hawaiian pizza(who orders things that they don’t like to eat?). However, I was leery because I read that there was sweet barbeque sauce in the pizza. I tried it anyways, and in my opinion, they tried to make this Hawaiian pizza too Buffalo Wild Wings-ish by adding the BBQ sauce. And they used Canadian bacon instead of ham, which sounds like an upgrade in theory, but like mayonnaise and mustard, it just wasn’t gelling together :/. I give them credit for using quality ingredients. The pizza was fresh and warm on pickup. The staff was polite. There’s parking right in front of the store so I don’t have to walk more than 50 feet like the lazy suburbanite that I’ve become… I give them 4⁄5 stars for effort, just bad planning in terms of reinventing the Hawaiian pizza. Good execution of a bad plan though? I’m going to try their Margherita pizza next time!

I called to order $ 70+ dollars of pizza and pasta. I got a call back 20 mins later from the owner who rudely stated. «Where do you live… No, We’re not going way out there.»(We’re 15 minutes away near Danada Square in Wheaton). He was very rude. I explained that their website says they deliver to Wheaton, Naperville, Carol Stream, Winfield, Glen Ellyn, West Chicago and Lombard. To which he replied that the website is old and they don’t update it. Not sure if their food is good. Never got a chance to try it.

Great customer service! But the food was just so so. They drenched my shells in pretty basic and acidic sauce. Garlic bread was good though

I don’t normally write reviews on restaurants or catering. But, felt after over 10 years of having the most amazing Christmas dinners catered for our 20+ family members it was well deserved and long over due. We have had my husbands family over for almost 20 or our 21 year marriage. NOTHING has made them happier than when I stopped cooking and left that to Tony at Addante’s. It was the ultimate family Christmas gift. Really, its that bad. We have an interesting mix of «health conscious(reduced fat) relatives and those«not so much, bring it on it’s a holiday!.» Tony came up with a recipe for his linguine with shrimp and broccoli based in chicken broth and garlic that was a «low fat» recipe to die for. No fat, no extra salt just superb seasoning(if you like garlic!) The other favorite was the Chicken Vesuvio(definitely bone-in) and Italian Beef plus you get a vegetable with the package. Where can you possibly get all this superbly cooked food for $ 9.99 per person? His delievery staff are like family. On time, everything set up with sterno’s and as friendly as any delivery team could be. If you want to enjoy your holiday instead of spending alot of time/money trying to duplicate what has been proved perfect… Choose Addante catering. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t think of having Christmas dinner without Tony, Laura, Colleen and their entire dedicated team! They have made Christmas dinner a family event I can actually attend and«god knows everyone is grateful I’m not cooking.» We have never once been dissapointed. It’s been that good.

Solid, family owned place for take-out pizza, pasta and catering. They do a huge catering business. They have one of the most extensive catering menus I’ve seen for a small pizza type joint. Their cheese pizza is great. Perfect crust, nice amount of cheese and they add fresh oregano. The crust is thin and a bit chewy. Their prices are some of the most affordable in the area. They usually have a special of two 14 inch cheese pizzas for $ 14.95. They also offer a great family pasta, salad and breadstick meal for under $ 20. And, they have the old school of deal of cutting 10 coupons off of the pizza boxes and you can redeem the 10 or ½ off any pizza. Looooove that! Food is consistent. We always pick-up so cannot speak of delivery issues. Support this independent gem please.

Great pizza but 80% of the time when ordering delivery they are late. They don’t accommodate you for their slowness. Order 2 hours before you want to eat is highly recommended.

I’ve been here a few times before, this time I had the lasagna dinner. This was the best lasagna I had in a long time. They use real ricotta cheese with fantastic red sauce. Delicious garlic bread and garden salad to make it perfect. My new place to go for lasagna, I hope to try the baked mostaccioli next time I go back.

Never disappointed here. Great pizza and great salads. Apparently there are some delivery issues(according to other reviews), however I am more of a pick-up person. Addante’s isn’t a cheap, chain pizza place. The ingredients won’t hold the same way others will, because they are legitmately fresh and delicious. If you want delivery, call Pizza Hut. If you want amazing pizza, call Addante’s and pick it up yourself. I love pizza.

I’d ideally like to give Addante’s 3.5, but they are better than average, hence the 4. Solid Pizza. I had it first in high school, at a friends house. HAd the thin cheese. Very cheesy, and chewy, which is how I like my pizza. I prefer doughy to crunchy. I convinced my dad to try it, and he fell in love. They used to be located in Winfield right by the corner of Pleasant Hill and Geneva Road. We ordered them consistently for a while, and they actually were pretty inconsistent. Sometimes great, but sometimes not so good. This includes their stuffed and pan varieties. They moved to a newer, nicer location just East of their old one, at the intersection of Gary and Geneva. The pizza tastes a bit different; for the better. I will say they their catering(specifically the meatballs) are fantastic. I’ve been to a few parties with Addante’s catering, and they always have tasty eats. I’ll be honest: Addante’s is a good local joint that I would recommend for catering, but not exactly for pizza. It’s good, I just prefer other places. Great catering service, though!

Catered Italian food from here is delicious, with generous portions, and really affordable! I had them cater my wedding 7 years ago and people STILL talk about how good the food was!

Worst. Experience. Ever. TOTALWTF. Completely regret placing the call. Called at 9:20 on a Friday evening to order a steak pizza and wings. Got put on hold and was then told they had to check and see if they had the stuff for the steak pizza. I told them to make it a chicken ranchero instead, which they said would be fine. Placed my order. Just over 30 minutes later, they call me back to confirm my address. I live about a half mile from their store, two streets behind them. Which I told them both times I gave them my address. They told me the delivery guy was leaving in 2 minutes. 40 minutes later, no pizza. Called Addante’s back and told them there was no way the food was warm anymore, cancel the order. They called their delivery guy, took me back off hold, and told me they could remake my order. Are you crapping me? No crapping way. Waaaay too late in the evening for that. Thanks for a craptastic experience, Addante’s. WILLNEVERORDERFROMADDANTE’S AGAIN. This is one of our favorite pizza spots in the area. Tonight they made our day. When I called to order I asked them to ‘draw a picture for my kids’. They hadn’t heard of this so she asked what we wanted. I said, Minecraft but we would take any picture on the pizza box. Pizza arrive with the BEST picture! My kids were thrilled:) The kids have been waiting to order pizza so we could ask to have a picture. Addante’s did it! Thanks.

I thought I would try a take-out place a little further from home since I have not found a pizza I liked in the Bartlett area. It was not worth the gas or the money. First off, they got my order wrong. This is not how you want to impress new customers. I tried their specialty Ricky’s Ricotta Pizza. What a waste of dough. The pizza looked good but the ricotta was too creamy and bland and was layered a little to thick. The crust was too soggy to hold up to the thickness of the ricotta. I found the sauce to be a bit on the sweet side. The whole pizza ended up in the trash and I hate to waste food. The regular pizza was a tad better(they forgot to add pepperoni) but the crust still on the soggy side and the sauce again too sweet. I have had better store bought frozen pizzas. I would not return here. The search continues…

Amazing meatballs; I will get them that. The pizza can be described with two simple letters… eh. It isn’t fantastic, but it isn’t bad either. They have been terribly inconsistent with their pizza. My fatass dad always liked to order two mediums for 14.99, which was a good deal… if someone else besides him ate the pizza. Anyway, maybe I will try again soon, but we will see!

My family ordered food from Addante’s for my graduation party after hearing good reviews by word of mouth. At a very reasonable price, we were able to choose 2 types of food from the following categories: meats, chicken, pasta and salad. The order also included utensils and bread — for the italian beef, sausage and meatballs. We called a few times to change our selections, and the staff understandingly answered questions and helped with recommendations. A caterer came early and set everything up for us. Family and friends alike said the food was delish. Especially noted was the rigatoni ala vodka, lemon chicken, roasted green beans, and italian sausage/meatballs. I thought the stuffed shells were a little too dense. As much as I loved the meal that evening and as leftovers later in the week, my favorite element might have been the personalized cake decorated with celebratory words and my school colors. Yellow cake with chocolate fudge frosting. mmm Overall the food and service exceeded my expectations.

Looking for great pizza in the Wheaton Carol Stream area then look no further then Addante’s Pizza. The thin crust here is always made with great fresh ingredients and always delivered piping hot. The homemade sauce has a great doesn’t have an overbearing taste as well. The Catering here is always top notch. We have used them for years for our company parties and they always deliver way more food then we can possibly eat. This year we had a whole extra tray of Beef and everyone was stuffed. There staff is very professional and does a great job setting all the food up so it well laid out. I look forward to getting Addante’s for our next Holiday party.

Ok pizza. They offer deep dish and lots of other non-pizza stuff. This is a pickup place only, there’s no room to eat in the building. I got a coupon from here and decided to try it out. There’s lots on the menu which is always a mixed blessing. It’s nice to have variety, but too many things and I think the quality suffers. At least at pizza places. We had a deep dish pizza, a ½ and ½ thin pizza and an order of buffalo wings. I was told the wings were just right. Son #3 likes his food spicy and is always on the search for good wings. The thin pizza was ok. Not a lot of flavor or sauce. Somehow it didn’t have the right balance. The deep dish pizza was good, but they cut it ahead of time, which we don’t like because the pizza cools off too quickly. Luckily this place is pretty close, so I didn’t have to drive too long. So an ok experience, not too bad, but not too good. 2.5 stars.
