My iPhone stopped charging and the Sprint store told me I would need to take it to Apple. Stopped by U Break I Fix since it was nearby with the hope that they might be able to save me a trip. They cleaned out the charge port and sent me on my way 30 seconds later, free of charge.
If I ever run into a real issue with my phone I’ll be sure to try these guys first.

As a family we were very impressed with the way uBreakiFix runs there business, but the repair they performed was on my 12 year old daughters Ipad. So I thought it would be more appropriate for her to write this review. Here you go: «About a year ago I had dropped my iPad on concrete and it shattered the screen. We had searched everywhere to find an affordable business that could replace the screen. Our friends recommended we try, you break I fix, and we decided to choose them. When we got it back I noticed their was an area of the screen that would not respond to my touch, but we didn’t want to bother them, so I put up with it until I really needed it to be fixed. They had put a warranty on my iPad (which was so generous, and it really did help with the money and paying for it) and that meant that if it broke again they would fix it. So they fixed again, and this time when I got it back the button broke. Every time they handed it back (which was 4 – 5 times) the button broke. And one day when I got my iPad back and put it back into the case the corner of the screen cracked. My family felt so bad taking it back in, because they had spent so much money and labor to keep fixing it. But this company is completely genuine! They replaced my entire iPad! Brought a friend’s iPad2 here w/​shattered screen & other issues. Not only did it get fixed but the service was friendly & REAL — no super-​brain puffiness nor condescension. Kind, humble but competent team, even in answering the phone. Don’t know how the other branches are, but Wheaton’s is admirable!

Wife’s speaker on her Galaxy S5 was going wonky. I took it in and they had it fixed the same day, and out the door for less than $ 100 bucks.
I would say I can’t wait to go back, but that’d be a lie. Because I hate it when my electronics break. The guy that helped me was really nice and I hope I never see him again. No offense to him lol.

very satisfied with my experience with ubreakifix. laptop (i.e. Lenovo B570) would not update to Windows 10, even though, received prompts from Microsoft indicating «your laptop is eligible; each time I tried I kept on ending in an «endless loop» (i.e prompt «indicating restart your computer to accept important updates before Windows 10 could be installed»; upon restarting computer, & accepting to install Windows 10; again, the result would be receipt of the prompt to «restart computer to accept important updates»); ubreakifix resolved this annoying problem and did for less than their originally estimated price.

I came here after dropping my iPhone 6+ on the garage floor and the screen shattered. They were very helpful and fixed my phone in two hours. The best part is they price match. They gave me a price that was $ 5.00 less than their nearby competitor.

I call the Danada Square Store in Wheaton and talk to a gentleman who said his name was Dan. I asked for quote on a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge with a cracked screen he quoted $ 199.00. I said that’s the lowest quote I’ve ever got was he sure. He says as long as it wasn’t Plus that was right quote, But he would have to order the part and it would be faster if I brought the phone in. I live in Plainfield it was Friday night around
I know it would be a hour drive to there, but went anyway because of low quote. When I got there he was having a problem with the computers so hand wrote the work order but now quoted $ 299.00 I said on the phone you’ll quoted $ 199.00 he never answered he just look back in the computer and said that’s right it’s $ 299.00. I make sure I was talking to Dan who give me their original quote. I really don’t know what happened whether to believe it was just a mistake or a bait and switch. I advise to be careful with phone quotes as I wasted about two hours of my time because of a bad quote

Brian one of the owners (after reading my review on Unilocal) text me, to let me know they would honor their original quote that they made on the phone. I did have my phone fixed there and they did a wonderful job. I change my review from one star to five star because they deserve it.

Great, prompt friendly service explained what he would do to fix my son’s cracked iPhone 6 screen. The work was done on time and flawlessly.

If I could give more stars, I would. My husband’s phone stopped charging today and we were in a bit of a bind. I remembered others telling me great things about UBreakIFix so I gave them a call after trying to troubleshoot with Apple and being told we couldn’t make an appointment until tomorrow. My husband needs his phone for work purposes and couldn’t really be without it for a day. When I called, I spoke with Eddie who was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained that they do a free diagnostic test but, based on the problem we were experiencing, the repair would probably cost about $ 70 if it was in fact the charging port. He offered to set aside the part we would likely need and he let me know that most repairs could be handled in about an hour. My husband went in this afternoon and walked out five minutes later with the problem resolved. The charging port just had a lot of gunk built up which prevented a good connection. Eddie cleaned it out and didn’t charge my husband for his time. The fact that they didn’t charge us speaks volumes to us.
I should also mention that I called back after speaking with Eddie and spoke with another individual (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) who was equally wonderful. I asked him various question related to the charging port and he took time to answer all of my questions thoroughly.
Great service is hard to come by so I hope these guys will be around for a long long time to come!

It’s never too late to get your phone repaired. I went to ubreakifix & they were fast, reasonably priced & definitely worth going to.
I cracked my iPhone screen 8 months ago and never got around to fixing it. However, my phone battery started to act weird, so yesterday I decided to go to ubreakifix. And wow. I didn’t need to make an appointment, & they fixed something I had been dealing with for months in just under an hour! It was reasonably priced & the staff seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a repair!
(Just make sure to call ahead of time to make sure they have the parts you need)

Love this place!!! They fixed 2 of my iphones even after the Apple Store refused to touch them. The hardware they use is such good quality also compared to other fix it places. Will definitely recommend this place and use them again. Ask for Edgar!

My iPhone 5 had been broken for a few months and fearing it was a costly repair, I hadn’t gotten it looked at. While I was dropping some packages at UPS today I saw this store, and decided to take my phone in and see what the estimate might be. The two men at the desk couldn’t have been more friendly! Not only did they fix my phone while I waited (maybe a total of 2 minutes) they didn’t even charge me! Wonderful place, wonderful service!

Relatively new location of an established business that is becoming more familiar each day. I dropped my iPhone 5 in my salad last night and got dressing on the bottom ports of the phone. The speaker was muffled and the microphone was inoperative. I dropped by the Wheaton store while on business in the area. Fortunately they were able to take me without a wait. They repaired the muffled speaker by cleaning it out (no charge as part of the free diagnostic) and replaced the microphone. Despite a steady stream of customers arriving after me, they repaired my phone in about ½ hour while I waited. Highly recommended. Fast, friendly, honest and most importantly, got me back in business quickly.

WOW, GREAT JOB ! Brain was very polite, he told me everything he was going to do to fix my phone, and under an hour I was on my way with my fixed phone. THANK YOU

I really appreciate Jeff’s customer oriented focus, his knowledgeable staffs, and their tenacities to save my phone. My Nexus 5 got wet at the water park. Didn’t think it got very wet until the screen shut off and the phone started «boot looping». This is one of those phones that can’t pull the battery without tools. I tried the rice trick for couple days as soon as I got home but to no avail. Then I brought it to uBreakIFix to see if I could salvage the phone. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. His explanations and recommended actions are spot on. Jeff and his crew tried to save my phone like it is their own. Sent it through several water damage treatments and tried couple other things, but the damage is just too much for anything short of a miracle. I would’ve given 5 stars if I had one more shot of reloading the OS. The heroic effort to replace the button (without any additional charge to me) ended up bricking the logic board. Chances are really slim anyways so I cannot blame the uBreakiFix crew.

First time I’ve ever had anyone else repair a device for me. They quickly got a relatively obscure screen for me and had it installed in a few hours without an appointment. Hope I never need their services again, but if I do I know where to go.
