I had my first spray tan here on Thursday night, in prep for LDW/​my birthday weekend. The girls were nice when I got there and the color of the tan was great. Of the two spray options, I chose the lighter option, because I am pretty pale so I didn’t feel like I needed much color to be tan. The girl who did my tan took an after picture because it was just that good.
I was told to avoid bar soap, dove soap, wait at least 12 hours before showering, and that shaving after my first shower would be okay. I got my tan at 6:45 pm Thursday and didn’t shower until 2:30/3 pm on Friday. About 85% of the tan washed away.
I called the spa, no one answered, so I left a voicemail saying what had happened, and I got a text from the girl who did my tan. She basically told me it wasn’t her fault that the tan washed away and that the business isn’t interested in providing anything for a disappointed customer.
The tan didn’t even last a full 24 hours and she told me I should have gone for the darker color. I’m sure that would have washed away too. By my second shower, the entire spray was gone. Don’t waste your money. Horrible customer service in a small business in a small town. I can’t wait to see what opens up in their location once they close down.

Love their spray tan. The color is NOT orange and lasts for about a week! Ria is a pro — she individualizes the color based on what you want. The express spray is amazing — you can shower in 2 – 3 hrs! Love it :)

I haven’t went for Facail in 10 yrs. had a painless blackhead removal, now I am glowing ever since. Keep it popping ladies!

I have to say I never thought I would laser it’s one of those things would love to do… be maintenance free. But who wants to deal with the embarrassment of being in positions that one wouldn’t feel comfortable with. But being uncomfortable is not a feeling I had from the moment I stepped in the door. They are kind customer service oriented great to talk to, funny and completely honest!
I started with Brazilian, went to lip and under arms and now legs… I have had my facials and eyebrows done as well.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else to receive these services…
I recommend them to everyone I know!

Best laser hair removal service out there. Staff really takes care of you and makes you feel comfortable. I’m extremely happy with the results when I lasered my underarms. The equipment that they use does not hurt compared to what I have done in the past. Going to get my brazillian done here too! I highly recommend this place!

I came to Aura after having tried laser hair removal at another salon with no results. I was mad at myself for having spent a lot of money somewhere else with poor results. Aura changed everything around for me. I noticed results after the first session. Ria and staff are very nice and accomodating. I even had my eybrows done with the «Eyebrow Guru» and loved the results. The salon itself is gorgeous too. Aura also offers frequent discounted specials so try to take advantage of them as well. I highly recommend them!

I really wanted to love this place and make it my go to spot. Unfortunately, that did not happen. After having a terrible couple of years due to illness in my family, I finally made my first spa appointment in years hoping to get some ‘me’ time, relax, and get a reprieve from my problems.. I called and made an appointment during spa week for the $ 50 sixty minute facial. The reception area was very small but clean and nicely decorated. After waiting for ~15 minutes I was taken into the room by ‘Ria’. In general I felt that Ria asked too many questions and was condescending and made me feel uncomfortable, not relaxing at all. The main problem started when she put the steam equipment close to my face to open up my pores. She then told me she would be back in five minutes and left the room. She did not come back for a full 25 minutes. I did not know what happened to her and debated whether I should get dressed and go find her. I had to take the steamer off my face because it got too hot. Finally she came back in the room and acted like nothing happened and did not acknowledge her prolonged absence. The rest of the facial proceeded without incidence. I did find it irritating that she was constantly leaving the room to get something, or maybe attending to another customer? I thought it was a little painful, definitely not one of the better facials I have had. She extensively popped my blackheads even though I had asked her not to because I have sensitive skin. She then commented on how red and sensitive my skin became and said she would put something on my face to take away the redness. When the facial was done I went to the receptionist to pay my bill, which surprisingly was $ 70. I asked what the extra $ 20 charge was for, and was told it was for the special ‘mask’ she put on my face. I had not asked for a mask and was in no way told it would cost extra. Also, I didn’t really receive a 60 minute facial, as she left me alone for 25 of those 60 minutes. I don’t like to make a scene, especially when this was supposed to be relaxing, and I have a lot of other bigger problems in my life, so I paid my bill and regretfully even tipped her $ 20. I left feeling horrible and like I was taken advantage of. I cannot recommend this spa, and I definitely won’t ever be returning. This is not a ‘rant’ it is just an honest account of my experience at this spa.

Amazing!
They schedule you for 6, 3 minute sessions– one every 6 weeks.
I have had 2 sessions so far of the laser hair removal and the results are unbelievable. Each time, after about 1 week, the area has almost no regrowth again until right before the next session. Ria is great– honest, polite and calming.
The treatment is long term affordable– I plan on splurging for the brazialian. If I’m going to spend $ 90 at bliss every two month and have the hair grow back, I’d rather pay $ 500 and never see it again! It pays for itself after 5 visits. They also always offer promos– small areas are only $ 100 when they have a promo going.
And now the pain level: actually not that bad! They put a bunch of cool gel on the area (kind of looks like your getting a sonogram on whatever spot) and then move a wand around it. Its more of a warm pain that feels more concentrated in the areas with thicker hair and smells a little like burnt hair. But when it comes down to it, its only 3 minutes– by the time you’re uncomfortable, its over.
Highly recommended!

Best facials, not rushed, Glykeria conducts a basic interview of your skin/​medical history, and what your expectations are. I came to her about 3 years ago, my skin has never been better. Yes I have my moments where my skin is temperamental but that’s my own body having moments not due to the facial, if you know your body and skin you will have great results. I have grown very comfortable with Aura, that I have had other work done such as Brazilian, chin, and underarm laser hair removal. Great service and great prices.

I am absolutely obbsessed with this place, there is no turning back once you get your eyebrows done here! #hooked I can’t wait to also get some more services I heard their facials and massages are to die for! and maybe when I get enough courage I’ll do the laser which has also been highly recomended by friends :) Worth it!!!

So I have been getting a Brazilian wax for almost 10 years because I was petrified to get laser hair removal. After finally having enough of ingrowns a friend of mine referred me to Spa Aura. And all I can say is what in the world was I waiting for???
First off let me say Ria couldn’t be any nicer or funnier. She makes it extremely comfortable, and us woman know its not always the most comfortable position to be in for the first time with someone new.
As far as the actual hair removal. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t feel anything however, it’s 4 minutes of a very tolerable «feeling» I have only had 2 sessions so far and I’m amazed! I have not shaved in 2 weeks and still don’t really have too. Normally when shaving I was a daily shaver so this is like heaven for me!
I highly recommend seeing Ria for the laser hair removal. I know once done with this I’m moving onto another body part :)

a bit late of a review. but that is how i do :)
i decided to grow out my brows for about 3 – 4 months *please don’t judge, i wasn’t That scary looking, lol* but– i was told that is about how long it takes for your brows to fully grow out– & after going to these threading places– they ruin your shape and natural arch ya know what i mean?!
I wasn’t sure where to go or who to do them BUT! It was DEF time to tweeze’em!
Then i saw an advertisement on fb about the «brow guru» and made an appt with aura laser to see maria. making the appointment last minute I got the time i needed and date without any problems. when i arrived i was warmly greeted by Maria & after 30 mins with a bit of other waxing here and there ;) i was so happy to have trusted the «Brow Guru» having someone shape your brows is serious for me…& truly her title is deserved! She does provide other services & i will be going back for a much needed facial!
So for you ladies with horrendous shaped brows– please grow them out and see her– your appearance will change :) …your welcome

So, I just finished my third session and no big complaints so far. I did have a bit of difficulty scheduling my second session — it is recommended to make one 6 – 8 weeks after your current session — a lot of «no availability this day or this time,» which I personally didn’t understand cuz no other clients ever seem to be there when I am, but maybe they schedule people so no one runs into each other? IDK, but after the initial hassle of setting up the second session (which was actually my first because the first time I couldn’t do it), the next two sessions have been no problem and very easily booked. So relieved! Gotta admit, I was a bit worried that each session would be troublesome to book especially since I work retail and my schedule isn’t the typical 9 – 5. But anyway, moving on.
Ria told me during my first session that lasering is addictive… I didn’t believe her at all — half skeptical that it’d be effective, plus the price and all — but it seriously is! I have already purchased two more packages so far… they are always running special promotions; I highly recommend waiting for one instead of paying full price, you’ll save so much money!
I love that they send you email and text confirmations immediately after booking your next appointment. and then they email you a reminder a day or two before.
Remember to shave prior to going; they recently instilled a $ 15 fee policy if you forget and they have to do it for you.
I’m having very good results and I’m only half way through my treatments… I can’t wait for summer; no more shaving, no more waxing! (^.^)

The whole staff is very friendly, polite, educated. Ria is outstanding. I first went here with a groupon for laser hair removal. They use up to date lasers and I didnt feel any pain. I was so impressed by them that I got a facial. It was really great. Mind you — this is not a four star spa. But if you’re looking for effective treatments without all the glitz, this is it. I now have my sister and multiple friends getting treatments here — all with the same satisfaction. Plus, the skincare line that they carry, Sothy’s, is truly amazing. I would recommend the products to anyone.

I went here for my first laser hair treatment a month ago to use the deal I bought in Living Social. My hair has not grown back since the first treatment, which is fantastic! However I have two issues and both falling under customer service department:
1. The lady slightly burnt my armpit on one side– nothing serious though.
2. The lady in the front desk was asking me questions after questions in our mini pre-​treatment session, isn’t she suppose to give me information instead (if there is anything I need to know)? It sounded like she was tired of giving the same information on and again, so she started asking me instead, It got very annoying after 3 questions trust me, I felt like I was giving a job interview.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is so friendly and the space is just beautiful. My skin has never felt or looked this good. If I could get a facial everyday I would.

Absolutely the best facials. My skin has never looked this amazing and fresh. The spa is so beautiful and clean, and the staff is extremely nice. I purchased a gift certificate for my boyfriend to get a facial and he had never had an experience so great and relaxing. he’s already asking when we can come back again! I also get laser hair removal treatment done here as well. I see a great reduction of hair loss in the areas on which I am being treated. If you have troubled skin and are looking to start healing. this is the place that you need to be!
