I had the seaweed wrap, it was amazing!!! The lady who did the wrap, I think her name was Nina, was pleasant and very friendly. The products that she used smelled soooo goods, I wanted to eat it up.
I would go back to try a different wrap or scrub. Looking forward to next time.

I went for waxing because my regular who I have gone to for 13 years retired. I got Maria. She was good. Very professional and business like. I would go back.

Went there with a few friends for a girls day. I have to say Joanne who was working at the front desk made us all feel welcome the moment we walked in. There was a little miscommunication about the scheduling of one of the appointment times but they were quick to rectify everything, they even stayed open a little late to accommodate us. I had the hot stone and a mini facial it was amazing. One of my friends had a microdermabrasion and she loved it, her skin looked radiant. Place was clean and relaxing, we will all be returning!

So I booked over the phone and got an appointment pretty quick. I was scheduled for a scrub, facial and massage. They scheduled me for 11 called me at 10 to come early got there at 1040 and waited 35 mins to be called in I also paid an extra $ 30 to get extractions on my face because my pores are clogged. So Maria did my scrub and facial for one she was scrubbing really rough that my back burned. When I asked her to be gentle she apologized and did her best to be gentle. Then for my facial it was suppose to be 60 mins it was more like 40 and the extraction she did was only on my nose. Which I have black heads on my chin forehead and cheeks. Rip off so I paid 30 for her to squeeze my nose I could have did that myself and there was a timer on the steamer and it wasn’t relaxing at all. Then Julia. Stay away I did a 30 min massage she was rough. I felt like I was being shake bed instead of massaged. I had a satin cap to prevent my hair from being in the way she was so rough she pulled it off my head taking my wig off. The girl at the front desk jacqueline was nice I expressed to her my unhappiness and there was no manager or owner available. All they did was offer me a 60 minute massage on the house. Meanwhile I paid full price for something i didn’t get. Disappointed !!!

Loved my recent massage! BUT… try not to get a room on the left side of the hall. these rooms are next to a Dunkin Donuts, and you can clearly hear conversations thru the shared wall. Not very conducive for relaxing. This is the second time that this has happened to me. I was hoping that they would have put up soundproofing. Hopefully they will in the future. Not sure if I will be back.

I’ve gone to Body & Mind Spa for Swedish massages, and have had wonderful experiences with Anna. She is sweet, professional, and has amazing hands. I booked an appointment a few months ago and was told that she had taken a leave of absence and they were not sure when she would be back. I settled and agreed to have another masseuse take care of me (Julia). It was the worst experience ever. She was rough, creepy, and a little handsy too. I told her when she was being rough, but she must have not understood or simply chose to ignore the fact that I was uncomfortable. I later spoke to Bella, who apologized and offered me a complimentary massage. I have not gone back since. The place is pretty good and offers numerous services, but stay away from Julia!

I found this place because my fiancé, sister and I decided to go bike riding. We stopped by the new Dunkin Donuts that directly next to this place and my sister noticed the summer special prices that they had posted in the window. My lower back had been bothering me for a while but I kept ignoring it and of course it got worse. My fiancé said he felt a really bad knot in my lower back because it came to the point where I couldn’t keep my leg straight. I remembered this place and decided to come here for a deep tissue massage and my masseuse was Daphne. I was a little skeptical coming because people had complained in the previous Unilocal reviews but the summer special was $ 55/​hour and I just wanted my back fixed. As she was massaging I was a little nervous because I could feel the knot. She worked it all out and still 2 weeks later I feel 100%. Parking was easy and I am so happy that we found this place and it is now my new place to go!

I was given a gift certificate that I unfortunately let lapse. When I asked for it to be renewed I was told no. She actually said, «This is a business.» After I asked her if I could pay a fee to be allowed to get it reissued, she asked for $ 5. She then hand wrote me a new gift certificate with the exact same expiration date. I had to ask her to then give me yet another voucher with a new expiration date. She only gave me two months on the new gift certificate. I hope the $ 5 that I paid to have the gift certificate extended by three months was worth this review.

Great for massages and facial. Nina is great if your looking to get a facial. Professional and experienced. The massage tables are heated. Front desk lady is not the nicest person but overall place is great for spa services and relaxation! They also have sales and discounted package prices on their website.

Thanks for the update Bella. You did my facial. Hope you can take my suggestions because nobody else caused this review and bad experience but you.
Went here for a facial, came home with mask still stuck to my face and blackheads on my face still. She did a very sloppy job. She talked the ENTIRE time. Wanted to be here to relax, NOT! Greeter at the desk was less than friendly. Table you lay on (not a facial chair), but table had a fold in it and it killed my back having a feeling of a bar across my lower back. NOT FUN! WILL NOT BE BACK!

My go to spot for almost 10 years! Good loyalty program, discounts for birthdays. Reasonable/​comparable prices to boot.

Quality services. If you’re getting a facial, manicure or pedicure ask for Lupe. She is awesome. Its tough to park, but its worth it. Excellent deals and packages as well.

just had another great massage at a local gem of a place. they have very professional therapists-​though so far I’ve only had massages. looking forward to upcoming facial. Some of what II like about this place is it’s a small local place, with great prices and specials, and it’s not intimidating or snobby. The place is small, and sometimes you may hear muffled snippets of conversation or a door close. but I’ve been to fancy spas where you could here the same things. I’m very sensitive to noise, but I find it didn’t bother me and was definitely not a constant thing. The rooms are cozy and clean. lighting is soft. Massage beds are comfortable and toasty. Any therapists I’ve had are open, warm, welcoming and very skilled.

I just came from having an aroma massage here and it was great. The massage tables are heated! Which is awesome. I didn’t feel uncomfortable and everything was clean which was a plus. I will definitely be going back for a relaxing day

I got a SpaFinder gift cert and found this spa by searching my zip code; I booked a 60 minute Swedish massage. I wanted a facial as well, but with only 3 days notice no appointments were available. The spa was easy to find and street parking was abundant. I went in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist and was asked to fill out a questionnaire which asked, among other things where I had discomfort. Like most people (I presume) I marked off my upper back, I also noted my ankles, as they get quite stiff.
A little while later I was brought to a massage room and left to undress and get on the table. I noted it was a heated table — very nice in February!
A massage therapist came in and introduced herself as Cindy. She mentioned she would work on my back issues. I as face down and trying to relax so I didn’t mention my ankles again. She got started. She was a bit chatty which I don’t like but not too bad or too annoying. To her credit she really did get to work on a muscle knot in my back, really digging in there.
She avoided my question asking where she studied massage by simply answering «here, in New York!» and switching topics by mentioning she preferred doing medical massage which was quite evident. She certainly knew what she was doing in working out the knot and did do a full body massage. She pretty much ignored my aching ankles though.
My only real complaint was I had made the appointment for a Swedish massage, at a spa — I was expecting a relaxation massage. She did the whole massage as a medical massage, which is to say very pokey and digging into to muscles and focusing on muscle attachments, instead of the standard long effleurage strokes associated with Swedish massage. It was extremely painful, and while it loosened up muscles it was not at all relaxing.
I will be returning to Mind and Body because my gift cert was for more then the massage and my «change» was given to me in the form of a gift cert good only there. Its really convenient to get to and the staff was friendly and the ‘menu’ seemed good.

Great place, great staff, and prices are pretty good when they have sales/​specials. I’ve had massage therapy sessions with several of their therapists and all of them have been amazing. My favorite was Jennifer — too bad she no longer works there. Place is a great day spa, only drawback is the thin walls. Wish they were more sound proof since you’re there to relax, not hear the staff’s conversations in the hallway. Hence, the 4 stars.

I have been having serious neurological issues so I booked a massage with Steven — I was scared when I saw a 6″ 4′ man to gently fix my messed up body. HE was wonderful — he was not in a rush. When I was done he showed me some back stretches so I would feel better. For the first time in a long time I woke up with minimal pain!!! Dont know if anyone else is good but I like the place since I got relief from pain!
