Great place. I watched a mets World Series game here. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious the service people were polite and attentive. Overall I would definitely recommend you give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Great brick oven pizza!!! Always make you feel extremely comfortable… Greg is always up front to greet his customers… great spot to watch any game because of awesome tv“s at the bar!!! Food and service is awesome!!!

On my second time returning, the food was better than ever. There seemed to be new specials on the menu and I was ecstatic to taste! Our waiter of course, was extremely attentive and very insightful on what I should choose for my order. My friend and I brought our appetites as we knew we were in for a treat. We started with of course a pitcher of white sangria that we shared between us. For appetizers we had fried pickles and fried zucchini fries which we dunked in a rich marinara sauce. They were equally amazing and they apparently were new to the specials. We were still a bit famished and decided to also order a margarita pizza with eggplant. Their pizza is outstanding and to my knowledge the oven was brought in from Italy! Our main dishes were a half order of the parpadelle with shrimp over a fettuccini sauce, a sole stuffed with crab and a huge slab of skirt steak with an avocado sauce. We topped off the night with banana Nutella spring rolls which were also new to the dessert specials — it was outrageous! My friend was still feeling peckish so we also ordered a tartufo rolled in nuts. Everything was so delicious I cannot wait until we return next.

I love this place! Me and my husband have been coming here every week since it opened! Every time we go there are different, new, and delicious specials. I definately recommend the different spring rolls on the specials menu like the general tso’s pineapple chicken spring roll for an appetizer and the Nutella banana spring rolls for desert! Overall, it’s a welcoming and cool environment with a great bar to watch sports, a delicious menu, and a great staff!

Had a party here last night and it was fantastic. They were so easy to work with and accommodating. They gave me a great price and easily accommodated my party of 50 without a problem. The food was excellent and consistently good from each person to the next. I would definitely recommend this great neighborhood spot!

Fantastic food, fantastic service, definitely go with the fried calamari. The large variety of beer is awesome.

Was there once when they 1^st opened for a little party and the food was ok. The wife has been there 1 other time besides that and the same, it was ok. We live literally right down the block. We went tonight for game 4 of the world series. Walked in and the place is pretty empty, no seats at the bar but no body standing at the bar either. The high top tables in the bar area had about five of them occupied and a number of them empty. NOBODY in the dining room. The guy at the door says we can’t sit at the high tables unless we order dinner, are you kidding! We even said we were going to get appetizers and drink beers. So instead of making at least $ 60.00 they got nothing and now lost future family and friends business. The guy at the door was also not the friendliest. Unbelievable for a place that is never crowded and a building that is constantly changing businesses.
P. S.- I am almost 50 and the wife a little younger. Were not young punks going to get rowdy.

Let’s start by the service. Waitress tried her hardest I guess, but perhaps a little training is needed. First she didn’t know the wines by the glass. Then I asked for the wine list. She said“yea but that’s by the bottle”. Duh!!! She proceeds to bring the bottle 10 minutes later after our order has been placed. With 2 lipstick stained glasses. Once that was resolved she poured a full glass without ever offering a taste or showing us the bottle. Then corks the bottle. Hello? Wine should breathe, waitress 101… Is this a restaurant? Am I lost?
Each entrée came 15 minutes apart. Pasta was ehhh, pizza was yummy, sliders were weak. Brought out way to spread apart for a Sunday lunch with no one here.
Pizza joint at its best, come for that. Don’t order a thing more or the disappointment will set in.

Have been here a few times — their pizza is what keeps bringing me back! Had a few of the chicken dishes and ribs, they were only OK. Think we learned that this place makes UNREAL good pizza, everything else is only alright.

Great food, great service. The owner came up to us multiple times and even spoke to us out on The way out to make sure everything was good. And it was absolutely delicious! Will def be going back!

I live in the area and decided to stop by for dinner with my boyfriend. I ordered the beet salad and it didn’t taste fresh at all. My boyfriend ordered the skirt steak medium and it came well done. The place was empty and the staff seemed anxious for us to leave. We won’t be coming back.

After having only Chinese/​Japanese restaurants on this property for the last 40 years, it’s funny to see that in this neighborhood and time, this spot has flipped to Italian! I took my family and parents for lunch today to celebrate Father’s Day. It wasn’t very busy, but i think it has the potential to be. I liked almost everything i tried. Beware of the beet salad though. While my wife liked it, it’s got whole peppercorns in the sauce and if it was me eating it, i would have sent it back. My wife is proof though that it’s intentionally done that way for somebody!
I loved the arugula with mushroom and goat cheese salad, the Chicken Vostaldo (sp?), crab cake, shrimp scampi, and even the bread was great. Nice sautéed string beans too.
The only thing i didn’t like about the atmosphere was how dark they keep it during lunch, but that’s probably just me. (It was a little bit cold in the dining room, too.)
I’ll definitely go back, esp if they have a coupon (we spent $ 168 plus tip for 4 adults and one kid).
Oh, and take advantage of their parking lot in the back, which is directly accessible from the McDonald’s drive thru! (I tricked my parents, told them i was taking them to McDonald’s for Father’s Day.)

Just happened to do an «Around Me» search when we were in Whitestone and came across this gem. This place is frken huge! Half of the venue is a bar, and the other side is a classy restaurant. Two totally different vibes all within the same building. We went for dinner, and the service was great — we were in and out pretty quickly. I noticed the hostess also asked us and a few other guests after us where we preferred to sit (since seating was ample around the time we went) which I thought was nice to ask rather than just seating you somewhere random.
Weird thing to love about a place, but their bread basket is incredible!!! Lol the bread with olive oil and argula? I’m not even sure what’s on it but I’m pretty sure we ate a basket each since we asked for more (I’m hopefully exaggerating… maybe). The menu was unique in itself, but the specials intrigued me — I got the mac+cheese bites with vodka sauce. Figured it’s two of my favorites in one, so why not try it out. I had snacked before so I wasn’t very hungry– there’s only 2 mac balls so it’s definitely just an appetizer. My bf’s burger was more well-​done than he wanted, but I still thought it was okay, and obviously stole the majority of his fries. For good service and unique good food, the price was very reasonable. Glad we randomly came here… since my family lives out there, I will recommend it for a family dinner sometime soon I’m sure.

Gorgeous gem located right in Whitestone. The outside does this place no justice. Upon entering I immediately fell in love. The décor, the ambiance, & the allure of what’s to come made me feel rich.
The drinks are great & the food is even better. I ordered the Calamari & my friend ordered the Wings. Both were delicious. My Calamari was fresh. The batter was light. The sauce was amazing. They give a nice serving of Calamari which made my heart rejoice.
Everything about this place screams old school Italian authenticity. I always say cleanliness is next to Godliness & this place hits the target right on the head.
The bar area is separated from the restaurant side by smoked glass. The bar is adorned with 5 flat screen tvs, a lengthy bar, high table tops & a brick oven.

Service was fantastic. Manny was just awesome, he knew what kind of mushrooms were used in the risotto. …and it was just delicious. We had a good evening out and a welcome change in Whitestone. We did not have to go to Bayside to enjoy a decent restaurant. 4 thumbs up.

The restaurant has a great bar and has great atmosphere. Simple menu. And the place is spotless

Just moved into Whitestone and decided to give this place a go. Here’s the low down– overall, a good vibe, it’s a nice looking place. The bar is separated from the restaurant by smoked glass which hides the TV’s. Perfect. It gets a little loud– but hey, everyone’s having a good time!
Overall, I liked it– alot. The wait staff was excellent. Emmanuel was spot-​on. Attentive, professional and friendly.
Joe, the manager– helped us with our choice of wine. Apparently– they have their own vineyards in Italy and sell their bottled wine. He recommended one of them and it was quite good.
The food– not a fan of the potato croquettes– I ordered them based on other reviews of them. I found them very dry and not very tasty.
We ordered the baby back ribs and a chicken Caesar salad. Both were excellent. The meat fell off the bones on the ribs. Great, smoky flavors. The salad was good– not over dressed– just right.
Overall, a good first experience– we’ll go again– its my new neighborhood place. But even worth a trip if you’re not from the neighborhood!

Crossed this off my friend’s list to try and its pretty convenient of a drive from my house to here. We waited for the hostess to sit us down and luckily we got our own corner. Our server Manny came to introduce himself and we liked that he recommend my friend to get a bottle of Sterling which is $ 20 instead of a glass costing at $ 7.50!
Pasta Special: Angel Hair w/​Shrimp, Argula, and something else… this dish was a bit bland and I added a lot of Parmesan Cheese
Pizza: Funghi and we wanted a meat to add onto the pizza then Manny suggested to pair it with Sausage. I am not a big fan of mushrooms but it was a pretty yummy pizza.
Dessert: Nutella Pizza with whipped cream and slices of strawberries… oh my that was soooooooooo yummy! We both got full on the one slice and split the rest to take home.
Dining experience was amazing under the care of Manny! Definitely will be back because I love the birthday blazing firework cake…#jealous!
