Came here to get my belly button pierced but came out crooked!!! I called and he fixed it free of charge but No body wants to go through the same piercing twice in one week. I went to a different piercing shop because I thought it looked funny and they said that the ring he gave me was too small and so my piercing was not healing properly. I recommend going some where else so that you don’t waste your time. After All, this is your body. He does not know anything, and does not care about your body.

Just from looking at the pictures that people have posted of their piercings I am SHOCKED they even still have business. Every single piercing is crooked, and looks infected. This place needs to be shut down.

Got my nose pierced 3 months ago. The man did it fast and didn’t really explain how to take care of it. They give you a sheet with instructions of how to care for it, but the information is incorrect. It’s was ok, but I’m definitely going somewhere for my next piercing.

Oh how I love this place. I came here a few years ago and had a labret done. I had no problems with it at all and took it out only last year when I had some problems with an abscessed tooth.
I came back today to have it redone, but this time as a vertical labret. The process is so quick! The girls up front are super sweet, friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly.
I saw some negative reviews about the gentleman who does the piercing but I found him to be extremely professional. Sure, he isn’t the friendliest guy in the world but I thought he was nice. I have a lot of tattoos (20+) and have been around my share of artists and piercing professionals. I always found that the less chatty they are the better. Getting pierced and tattooed is not fun and not the most pleasant thing in the world. So, if an artist or piercer wants to be short and get it done as quickly as possible, that is just fine by me.
To sum this up, I will be coming back for more jewelry and maybe another piercing or two!!!

DO NOT COME HERE! The man that does the piercings needs to retire from doing so. Brought my friend here to get a belly button piercing and did not even do it correctly. I’m only giving this place one star because it’s required to. Save yourself the time and money.

My trip to Bangles was quick & painless (mostly). I went in for my medusa piercing. The girl at the counter was friendly & helpful. The piercer seemed a little grumpy, but he was quick & professional. I thought I went to the wrong place when I walked in, because of the clothes & purses.
My only complain was that when I called to inquire about whether or not you need an appointment, the girl who answered the phone was rude & snarky. I had a good experience at Bangles, but I’m not sure if I’ll go back yet. I’m used to piercers being a little more friendly & talkative.

I decided to come here after work to buy jewelry and get an ear piercing due to high reviews from a couple coworkers. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!
First off, the piercer was super rude and second, he didn’t position my piercing right so it interfered with another piercing I had!!! As soon as I realized this I immediately went in for my refund!!! Went to another piercer to get it checked out, and not only did he fuck up the position and made it so that I can’t have both of my earrings in at the same time, it also showed signs of infection!!! (Note: I went last night to get it pierced and got it checked out today) Never coming here again!!!

My wife got 2 piercings on her belly button yesterday, 1 upper and 1 lower. The piercer don’t know what he’s doing, 70 year old man doing this for side cash or something. They wouldn’t let me go in the back with her (another set of eyes wouldn’t hurt) so she went in by herself, the guy didn’t let her look at the markings before he pierced. The top piercing came out crooked, wtf ! She went back today to talk to the piercer, he offered her $ 21 refund because of his mistake. She took the money and left, bangles just lost a customer. $ 65 down the drain. Avoid this guy at all cost !

I recently got my nipples pierced here two days ago and it was quick and the least painful piercing I’ve gotten, the office is clean and the piercer is like a friendly grandpa, very experienced and makes you feel comfortable :)

Purchasing Piercings: I understand that if buying a $ 8 septum ring that it is not of high quality. I don’t expect however the piercing to change color after 1 day of putting it in my nose! I’ve purchased cheap piercings before from other places and have never had that happen.
*my friend had even asked if it would do that and the guy laughed and said sure if you wear it everyday without cleaning it. I ignored her insisting on me not buying it and it did change color and looked so gross after 1 use, I threw it away :(
Store itself has unique, cool items like wallets, shirts, and purses that are worth going for but has a huge case with just piercings that I no longer have any interest in buying. Bummer.

First things first: This is a long ass review because I’m pretty miffed about the whole situation with Bangles. I’ve told my story & my experience with Bangles & in the last couple days it’s been a doozy. TL;DR, Do NOT go to Bangles. Their products are questionable & they don’t know what they’re doing. Find another place. Hell, I’d recommend a mall kiosk over Bangles; at least they specialize in their products.
With that said, this is my experience:
I’ve been a pretty faithful customer of Bangles for just under 2 years now.
I got my double helix pierced here, & I buy their jewelry almost exclusively. I was pretty happy with the setup since it’s so close to home too. My only complaints so far: the girls up front aren’t too knowledgeable/​helpful, & the piercer is too rough (especially when it comes to inserting jewelry!); he’s also very rude, intimidating, & definitely not helpful (much like Ana V. I simply thought he wasn’t the talking type… but I was wrong).
This past weekend I finally managed to get a ride to Bangles to update my jewelry. It was a pretty standard visit: go in, get some seamless hoops & get out.
I know I don’t look the type to know a lot about piercings & jewelry, but I do. I read a lot before getting my second lobes & double helixes & continue to read & research other piercings because I’m always interested in getting more. That being said, I now know there’re metals & brands you should avoid at all costs (something I hadn’t known when I initially got pierced… I know, I know, I’m an idiot). So I start asking the girl up front what sorts of metals their jewelry is & what makers they buy from. She gets this split-​second «deer in the headlights» look, snaps out of it, & very quickly tells me they buy from «many, many people; lots of different brands from everywhere» & that they mostly stock titanium & surgical steel. This, honestly, should have been a red flag, but I desperately needed new jewelry & I figured I was smart enough to navigate this transaction without getting any duds.
I get back to the car & try switching out my stainless steel posts for the hoops & woops! My mistake: I got a gauge too big. No big deal; like I said it was my mistake. I go back in, & now I’m looking at the jewelry for my correct gauge. I grab a pair of captive ball hoops because I’ve had a pair of captive ball hoops from Bangles before & they’re pretty no-​nonsense in the way of putting them in & cleaning, & for the most part they make my helixes happy.
I wise up this time & stop 5 feet away from the store to switch my posts out for the hoops. The bead falls off & I’m left standing there like wtf just happened. I know how captive ball hoops work: the bead pops completely off & you put them in, thing is: Bangles had sold me a pair of «captive ball» hoops half a year prior, & they were the kind that bent open into a spiral without the ball popping off. My mom (who usually helps me with getting my jewelry in) goes back in by herself, asks what the hell happened, & the girl informs her that «that’s how they are» & begins to fiddle with the ball to get it back in (which she hardly manages). She offers to have the piercer put them in for me for $ 2, which we agree to since there’s no way we’ll be able to get these things in on our own. He looks pretty annoyed to be doing this for me & he’s very curt as he does; it almost feels like he’s bothered by the whole thing (which, if he is, why tf is he even there for?!?). As usual, he’s rough & it feels like he’s forcing the jewelry in.
When all was said & done I open my mouth to tell him my top helix always gives me trouble, but he doesn’t even let me get a word out. He rushes me (read: kicks me) out & as we’re on our way out the girl decides to waive the $ 2 «fee».
But that’s not even the whole thing. My biggest problem with Bangles started today. I decided I could save the money I’d wasted on the wrong gauge earrings by wearing the hoops in my lobes; I’ve had my lobes pierced since I was about 6 months old, & they’ve stretched out quite a bit over the years so we had very little trouble getting the size up gauge in. I was rubbing my lobes earlier today &, as gross as it sounds, I smelt my fingers mostly to check if they had any foul odor/​infection smell & I smelt something metallic. Upon looking in the mirror, I noticed the earrings in my lobes were tarnished & fading into a nasty black & brown color. I immediately took them off & assessed the damage to my lobes; my piercing had a dark ring around it from the discoloration transferring, & the earrings had lost their color & their lustre. I don’t know what happened, but I KNOW surgical steel & titanium earrings (which is what they told me they had sold me) don’t do that. If my lobes had been freshly done there’s no doubt in my mind they’d be infected right now — thankfully, however, I’ve had my lobes for 19 years & they are completely healed. I know I won’t be going back to Bangles AT ALL.

Incorrect piercing placement! Avoid at all costs!
It’s been about two weeks since my piercings and just as suspected my piercings were positioned incorrectly. The piercer marked my cheeks and when I told him one was alittle further out from the corner of my lip he tried to say one of my cheeks was just more puffy he measured it again redid the dot but I think he still pierced his original mark. One of the them was also pierced at an incorrect position one went right through and the other wen through at an angle and I felt it and now I have two off piercings and either I always wear different length piercings or let it close up scar and get another one. They charge for the piercing and the jewelry itself, I usually get pierced in LA next to a swapmeet I figured I’d spend extra money to make sure they were done right I WAS WRONG! I paid 85 $ for a cheek piercing at Bangles felt like a rip off especially for the way it was done. Went to see the lady in LA a week after and got my nipples and nose septum which included the jewelry for 60 $ and got 3 sets of extra sets of jewelry for 8 $ she hooked it up I seriously regret going to bangles! I should’ve gone elsewhere now one of them is just scraping at my gum since I can’t change them out yet. If you are considering basic ear piercing maybe but I think it’s overpriced and I would definitely go elsewhere.

Great place to find Loungefly purses and super cute clothes for cheap. I originally went to just get my nose pierced, but came out with a bunch of stuff! The piercing guy was very nice but definitely not a chit chatter. Maybe that’s why people think he’s rude. My piercing was perfect, even for a hoop and he opens up all the sterilized picking right in front of you.. The girls were super nice, especially one who helped me. She knew a lot about jewelry and was helpful. I’d recommend this place for piercing, purses, and clothes!

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced today. The girl in the front was very nice and helpful. The older man that does the piercing in the back is just plain rude. I’ve come here for years for the great stuff in the store, but he remains to lack a personality. Grumpy and impatient! If you get something pierced you want some say in where it is positioned? He obviously didn’t like the fact I had a opinion. He’s lucky I didn’t hear him tell my daughter I was picky! Seriously, he is best off staying behind the curtain. He is definitely not a people person!

Well I asked my pal where she got her piercings she said Bangles. I trusted her since she has dermals, lip, nipple just about anything you can pierce. So I go on an adventure.
I get there it’s in a strip mall but that does not phase me. I walk in and all I see is clothes. So I’m a bit confused. I look at the girl at the counter and polite me asked if she can help. I ask do you guys do piercings amd she says yes. So I’m like ok then I look at the counter I see all the body jewelry and my mind is at ease. I asked for a septum asked me what jewelry to pick makes me sign the paperwork and pay.
Now the the next step, where do I get pierced. Well they call me to the back I get freaked out. I walk in and it looks like a doctors office. With all of the piercer paperwork and certification. Clean tools and alcohol all around. He was very gentle to the point that it was a pinch not a wave of pain. All I can say cone here to get pierced cause I came back to do my ears. Great place and in the long run don’t judge a book by its cover.

Bangles employees have Great Customer Service. My daughter was so nervous when she went to get her ears pierced, but the staff made her feel so comfortable. Love this place!

The woman at the front was so knowledgable and helpful! She answered all my questions, calmed my nerves, and convinced me to get the piercing I truly wanted. The piercer was also able to calm me down and didn’t scare me. It’s been 4 days since I’ve gotten my nipples pierced and I cannot be more happy I got them. I’m trying to think of other places I want pierced, because now im addicted lol wonderful work and great job!

I went in to get an industrial piercing today & the lady that rung me up was really nice and helpful. Whatever questions I had she answered. The only thing I had a problem with was the jewelry, I felt that had more of a selection online than in store, plus a bar was $ 15 plus the $ 25 for the procedure. Other than that The piercer George was really nice. I would definitely go back for more piercings!

I really like this place. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Friendly staff, and the man who did my piercings was very professional, which I appreciate. He was very fast and precise at the same time, I was probably In there for 15 minutes tops. I would recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back for more.

I originally came to Bangles to re-​pierce my snakebites after having a bad experience with «The Famous» Tommy T’s in Huntington Beach. Going into Bangles the girl was very polite and patient with my questions. They had a good variety of surgical grade jewelry to choose from and I was in and out in 15 min. Now to address the piercer. He seems like he has been around the block a few times but he is harmless. ;-) He reminds me of a grumpy grandpa, but he is a hell of a piercer! If its your first time be patient and don’t let his exterior bother you, he is a softy on the inside.
