I went in to switch out my stud for a nose ring and the piercer was the best. He was so gentle and super cool. I will defintely be going there for all my piercing needs.

Got my nose pierced here. Took maybe 20 minutes at the most. Victor was super nice. Payed $ 25 for service and jewelry. With ! $ 5 tip. But bring cash. No cards. Definitely going to come back for my tattoo. The guys are real chill.

Got my Triple Forward Helix piercing done here and everyone there is so awesome. Great environment for sure.
Definitely looking to go back for a tattoo soon!

Been here twice to get pierced by Vic he did my septum, gauged my ears, and did an dermal for me each time he’s sat and talked me through the process that he was doing and the after care he addresses all my concerns, even got to talk a bit on a personal level overall a badass dude I drive out from fontana just to get pierced from this guy the whole shop experience is awesome overall don’t judge it from the outside all the guys there are cool!

Got my first tattoo by an artist named Swift. It wasn’t just a little tattoo. I decided to get a tattoo down my spine. As soon as I walked in they helped me so I never had to wait. He showed me a few ideas and was professional about it. I’m not one to jump the gun and just go anywhere. I’m the type to do my research and also based on great reviews. I highly recommend Distinctive Ink in Pico Rivera. I was nervous as a first timer. But for the hour I was there. I had seen so many regulars come in to get stuff done. So I knew I was in the right spot. So I’m happy with an awesome tattoo!

Got my nose pierced here, it was $ 25 for the stud and piercing, and they did a great job! Forgot to catch the guy’s name, but he was such a sweetheart. Explained everything, and was just super upstanding and nice! It was quick, easy, and mostly painless, I’ve gotten tattooed and done my own piercings so it wasn’t painful for me. I’m definitely going back to get some more ink or another piercing! It was clean, and inexpensive! Totally awesome!

I got a tattoo here years ago. And my tattoo looks just as faded now as the first month I’ve had it. I have new tattoos around it and even some old ones around it and every time people see this tattoo they point out how faded it is and I should get it touched up lol. I mean the guy was nice and he gave me a ok price but for the work I’d say it was an over charge. I have never come back here because when I came here the first time I didn’t feel welcomed, nobody helped me out for a good couple of minutes when I went and when I finally was helped I got art that was just ok. Wish I could remember the guys name.

Loved this place … Vic pierced my daughters belly button and he was good and thorough. Did an awesome job. He was very informative on how to keep it clean. Thank Vic. And thanks Distinctive Ink ;-)

I came here to get my industrial re pierced since I let it close up a few years back. I don’t know her name but the girl pierced it, and first it was odd that they didn’t check my ID at all until I was walking out the store. Anyway, they are all very nice and funny which was cool. The piercing obviously hurt the only thing was she took forever, my first time took less than a minute to pierce and get the jewelry in, this time it took about 5… wasn’t bad or anything just took longer.

I got my 1^st and 2^nd tattoo done here. SWIFT is such a great guy and does great work. Very clean work area and puts all the parts on in front of you, so you see him pull them out of the sterile packaging.
Looking forward to getting a 3^rd one from him. Very engaging and easy to talk to, time passes quick. Wish I could upload the pic of the 2 he did for me. Both on my lower leg between knee and ankle, not small pieces.

I’m doing this review based on my experience with piercing, although I do know a few people who have had tattoos done here and they came out amazing. I got my ears pierced and stretched. It was a hassle free experience and they told me how to clean and take care of my ears. They also gave me a discount on my first purchase of plugs. I’m thinking if getting more pierced and I know this is the place I’m going to. They will make you feel welcomed and never rip you off.

Do these guys know that they are leaving a lasting forever impression not just in our skin but also in our UnilocalING 1^st amendment rights. it’s all fun and games to Victor the now you see me now you don’t piercer until you provide a service with low grade dermal anchor jewelry… once you realize that you have a very upset and unsatisfied customer you never give them the run around and tell them lies like you’re gonna replace it for free with a titanium grade anchor … Victor you do realize that the dermal IMPLANT that you SURGICALLY IMPLANTED BENEATH THE LAYERS skin is cheap costume jewelry and needs to be removed !! Your going to be black balled you butcher…

Best artist ever works there! His name is Mike Avena. He has done work for my brother and sister and the three of us are very happy with his service! Can’t go wrong with him.

Juan Swift very talented artist he did my favorite tattoo a little mexican matryoshka doll I have quite a few tattoos I am a perfectionist and I notice little things that artists make mistakes on so I am annoyed by minor errors no one else would notice. I cannot find one mistake on this dudes work his whole demeanor was different than any other of the artists I have been tattooed by he is very confident his color and shading are on point it was like he was drawing on paper it was so much little detail and he was quick he is very talented I definitely want more work done from this shop artist.

REVISED: i came about 3 month ago to get another tattoo with MIke & I am even happier! Can’t wait for my next one. I got a black & white eagle/​snake combo. It looks amazing & only took 2.5 hour. I’m a happy camper.
Came here about two years ago to get a small but meaningful tattoo & had my work done by Mike Avena. I was very satisfied with his work, he was very professional & made me feel comfortable. His portfolio is very impressive, great Aztec work. He helped me tweak the design a little bit to make it perfect.

Ive been tattood here numerous times by a few differant artists, Raylee who is no longer there, and Kevin. And both did awesome work. NEVER go into a tattoo shop not knowing what you want or atleast have an idea. BAD MOVE! Its permanent, know what you want, and check into artists first! But dont give bad reviews if your a first timer.

I just got back from this little place and I have to say, it’s awesome! I stopped by a few days ago to ask how much it would cost to get my ears pierced, and it was $ 25. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but that’s a very fair price.
I came back today to actually get the piercings done, and I was surprised with how amazing it is inside.
The shop itself is very clean and very awesomely decorated. It has a pool table in the middle which I think is very rad!
Anyway, my piercer’s name was Cameron and he was very sweet and patient. He and I made some small talk and joked around a little bit. Very nice guy, and does great work.
My ears haven’t bled at all, so I wouldn’t bother listening to Ivy.
I also had him look at an old tattoo I had done, and he was very nice in explaining that it wouldn’t be hard to either cover up or redo.
All in all, great experience and I also thought Mike Avena was funny. He was busy tattooing a client while I came in, but he still took the time to smile at me and crack a joke. Nice guys!

INK ME! Ok, let’s go to Distinctive Ink! No, I kinda change me mind.
Seeing this place first hand, its a bit scary. People will be eyeballing you, like its the cold war or something. Creepy even for a guy, if you are a girl. You’re screw! They sweat even with the site of a woman who blindly enters here. They will make you feel uncomfortable as hell. I have to say that the best tattoo artist there will have to be a dude name Rich. Mike isn’t that bad. The place is really good at portaits tattoos such as faces. Good if you want any Celebrity face or Family photos. They also do a somewhat good job on imaging Jesus, JESUS CHRIST! They can do horror as well. I’M DON’T MEAN HORROR, LIKE MOVIE HORROR. THEY DO HORRIBLE JOBS! Don’t ask them to draw you something, you’re better to let a 3 year old kid tattoo you. Still, it’s only traces down, and most of it’s not from the artist creatives. Watch out, as they will do a tattoo, and watch it fade as hell. U will probably have to get retouched like crazy!
