Im Angel Muro Jr. I own Comfort Time Heating & Cooling. I started this company when I was only 21. However, before that I had a 49% share in my fathers Commercial HVAC company that is located in Montebello CA. My whole life has been repairing and installing air conditioning and heating units. Its been over 8 years since I have started my company with the help of my father, and business is great and its thanks to YOU my customers. The large growth and success has came from personal referrals, My wife and I work hard to make sure you are happy and to provide value with every installation and service we do.

My father and I worked side by side every summer vacation I had during grade school. Throughout college I worked as a comfort consultant and as the office manager. It was a great experience. After finishing my education I knew I wanted his job, but he wasn’t ready to retire. So we did the next best thing. We both started another chapter in our lives. I gave back the shares I owned to my father, and he help me open my own company!

I opened Comfort Time Heating & Cooling in June of 2008 and haven’t looked back since. I know every dollar I earn is because of my Dad. We speak almost daily, and now give each other pointers about what is happening in our industry.

Today I still love getting my hands dirty. Its a rush and a great feeling of installing or fixing an Air Conditioning or Heating unit. I guess it comes down to what my father has told me my whole life «being of service is the best reward in life».

Contacted three HAVC companies. Comfort Time was very competitive and affordable. Had to replace a single heater/​AC unit that was over 30 years old. It would have been very difficult to work on for repairs. Required use of a crane to take it off the condo roof area. Angel came up with a better solution of installing a separate furnace and a separate AC. The new furnace was installed in the attic and the new AC installed on the roof area, allowing for easy access and repair if it was ever required. Angel also increased the vent size in the hallway that would allow for more heat or AC air flow. They made sure the customer was satisfied.

Comfort Time saved the day! I was having a party on a cold (for Southern California) night and my heater stopped working. Angel and Dylan came over and fixed it quickly, for a great price, and were very friendly! I will absolutely use Comfort Time again. Thanks!

I was referred to Angel by a family member when my AC unit stopped working. I could hear the unit start to turn on, but the fan wouldn’t blow. Angel was able to come service the unit the day I called him, which was a lifesaver! I don’t know much about air conditioners, but the repair was quick and affordable and the AC has worked like a charm ever since. I’ll definitely call him if the unit ever needs service again!

They went over and beyond. I called on a Sunday because of an odor coming from my furnace. He said he can get out there first thing Monday morning to check it out. He could have easily stopped there to get the business, but he proceeded to walk me through exactly what to look for and what to do to correct the odor. I was able to correct the problem right over the phone. While he didn’t get compensated this time for work and expertise, he certainly gained a customer. His good faith in helping me out in a bind, has now made this company my go to, for anything I need done for the future. Thank you again. I was impressed.

I had angel come out yesterday to replace my thermostats in my home. He was awesome he gave me options and was up front about everything. I would recommend comfort time and call them if I ever have any issues with my HVAC system. One of the thing that pushed me to write the review was that he put booty covers on, it was something small but it made a big difference.

Yeah so it’s been a couple months since my inital review and it’s fng annoying Even after tightening the capcitor the the blower motor had always sounded louder than before he worked on it. I know I wasn’t hearing things. It just sounded like a humming vibration noise. Very hard to ignore especially at night. Finally after using the ac nonstop during the last two months, I just couldn’t take the excessive vibration noise. I started checking screws to see if they were loose. Checked the blower motor screws which were placed on the recently replaced blower motor. Not easy as there is a small space to reach around and use a small socket wrench. 2 screws were not tight all the way and the third was stripped out replaced by another up top that also was stripped.
Bingo. I remember he told me he put in another screw and that’s all he could do about the noise. How about tightening the other screws until they are tight?
Once again, I replaced the bad screw with one size larger screw and tightened up the other two. The AC unit is now back to the way it was before Comfort Time worked on. Quiet…
Unfortunately not recommended anymore. Probably won’t be calling him again even if the blower fails and there supposedly a five year warranty on it, although I never received a receipt so who knows. That’s how annoyed I am. I would rather call another company or just fix it myself. Why not though, I basically worked on it myself anyway.

This guy is stupid. I just called him to help me install a new thermostat I purchased but he said he wouldn’t install because if it gets damaged he doesn’t want to be responsible? Sounds like he’s not confident in his trade to me. Just a bunch of bullshit.

I can’t recommend this company enough. My elderly parents had their furnace go out in the middle of a cold spell and we made the mistake of calling S***s Home Repair who said it was old and would be a waste of money to repair. Hmmm, ok so then that «repair guy» calls a salesman to come out to help us and we are lucky because he can come NOW. After his presentation and charming personality, he says with a lot of discounts he can get them a new unit for just under $ 11,000! How could we be so lucky again? Then I call Angel at Comfort Time who comes out right on time, looks at the unit and says it looks brand new inside, will probably last 10 more years and only needs a heater unit for $ 650.00 total. He’s got the job done the next day and the part is guaranteed for 5 years! He’s an honest guy, professional and he just saved us over $ 10K. Call this company first! I can’t say enough about this guy and the fairness and integrity of this company.

They did a wonderful job on our A. C problem! The workers were very nice and got to work as soon as they showed up! It did take me a while to finally reach them and get them down my house but trust me it’s worth the wait! Very fair prices too! I’ll recommend them to anyone!

I just called them to inquire about a quote for my broken a/​c and was told to call back in 2 weeks because they aren’t taking any calls for 2 weeks. Ridiculous in the middle of the hottest month of the year. I am taking my business elsewhere.

We needed to replace two AC roof units at our company and used Comfort Time. It was not a good decision because we were promised the job would be «done to code» only to find out it was not and we needed to spend an additional $ 5,000 to move the units and run new ducts. The owner came out to see the problem and said the units were fine where he placed them, but the city didn’t agree and made us change them. An additional item was the water damage we had when it rained during the installation process. The water collapsed a ceiling in a computer closet and shorted out a file server that cost $ 3,000 to replace.
Nice man but not experienced and does not have the financial backing to fix any problems he creates.

Needed a new system for our home. Was tired of suffering through the heat and sometimes coldness. I had called a bunch of companies to come out and give me an estimate. Some wanted to charge just to come out. They were not the cheapest but they seemed the most sincere. They didn’t try to sell me stuff I didn’t need or push a more expensive unit. They stayed in my budget and we had heating and cooling in less than a week. Great service and very clean.
Would recommend them. In fact I will have them do maintenance service on my parents home.

Great service! 100% honest! I thought I needed I new furnace, Angel showed up and diagnosed it. Turns out it was an easy fix for just $ 160, a bargain considering I thought I might need to replace it. Absolutely would recommend calling this place ill be sure to go to them when I decide to put in an AC unit. Hard to find company’s like this now a days

We were in need of a new heater last winter, 2 days before New Year’s Day. Called Angel at Comfort Time Heating & Cooling and they came out the next day to install the new heater. They did a fantastic job and they cleaned up afterward! Very honest and did good work for fair price. Definitely would recommend them.
