These ladies are amazing… Best customer service, reasonable price, and very good detailed work.
I had one week to get my daughters prom dress altered, I shopped around and this was the only place that was reasonably priced and that cared about my situation.
I couldn’t make it to the fitting appointment with my daughters but they made sure to take care of my girls.
I highly recommend this shop for alterations and they also carry beautiful wedding and prom dresses.

Bought my wedding dress here at Illusion Bridal. Lulu was nice and helpful. My only complaint is that I made an appointment to come in and do my first fitting at 5pm on a weekday. When I came in she told me to leave and come back because she had a customer trying on dresses. It was a bit rude and she tried blaming me by saying «no, your appointment was at 6pm» I knew my appointment was at 5pm because I had to be out by 6pm to be somewhere else by 6:30pm! Anyways besides that little probelm I had an overall good experience! My sisters also got their dresses altered here.

Lulu is absolutely AMAZING! We walked in and just felt completely welcomed and not only did we purchase a last minute 2^nd prom dress but we were able to get alterations on the dress we just bought AND our daughters dress for her prom the next day! Lulu was beyond helpful, friendly, and went out out of her way to make my daughters experience a wonderful one! From feeling stressed due to last minute invite to a 2^nd prom, we walked out feeling relieved and accomplished! I COMPLETELY recommend Lulu and her store to anyone looking for a beautiful dress, friendly service, knowledgable and experienced staff!

Very nice place. Had some alterations done here. As a group we were able to have the alterations done even though we didn’t buy the dresses there. Everything fit perfectly and at very reasonable prices! Very happy!

My sister in law is stationed in Japan and was flying in 2 days before her wedding. I went in half hoping you could help and we wouldn’t have to pay crazy rush fees.
Not only was the price completely reasonable but you were able to alter her dress perfectly in 1 day.
I would definitely recommend coming here.

With only three weeks before my daughters quince I came into this place thinking I was going to be able to just try on a dress and walk out with one. Nope! Not knowing I had to order one and then have it altered if needed… I started to panic!
Lulu was great, she gave me a couple of catalogs and said go ahead shop. Find what you like, write it down and then i will make some calls. My friend and I do that. We find several dresses and then we decided on the color.
Lulu makes a call and starts gathering the information on the dresses, yes its available or not available. These are the colors available for that dress. Once we have all the information picking a dress out of the 10 I had picked was much easier.
I picked a dress, she orders it and explains it might take two weeks to come in am I ok with that. I say yes because really can I tell her, NO I want it now! It was my bad I didn’t come sooner. The dress is ordered on Monday and by Friday it was in. I was shocked by the call even asking what happened to the two weeks?
I went in on Sunday to try it on some alterations were needed. She cut the length and adjusted the shoulders. I had my dress ready within a couple of days.
Ladies invest in the bra that she carries. Let me tell you, this was the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. I needed a bra that would go low in the back since the dress had an open back. I never once had to adjust it all night. I wore it strapless and again never once did i have to pull it up or re-​tuck. It keep everything in place and did a great job.
I ended up buying my daughter a bra as well because she had a corset top and she too said that she never had to touch it. It made her feel very comfortable all night because she was worried that she would have to be pulling up her dress and bra like she has seen others do.
I had my daughters dress steamed here even thou it wasn’t purchased here. What I truly appreciated about Lulu was her help in getting my daughter into her dress. I asked her if she wouldn’t mind lacing my daughter up the day of her event, because honestly I had no clue.
She could have said, hell no that’s not her problem but she didn’t. She said of course just come in and she would be more than happy to help with that.
I’m a jeans and sweat shirt type of mom. I would have worn jeans to my daughters party if Lulu hadn’t found me the right dress.
This added detail on her behalf just made me a loyal customer. I also bought my daughter a head piece that my daughter saw there and that two was absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for all your help. If any other special event comes up I will be coming here to find the right dress and accessories.

After trying on my dress and going to other bridal shops, I had to come back for this dream dress! All the other dresses I tried at outlets did not compare to this beautiful dress. From all the rhinestones to the perfect detailing, I had to make my purchase here. I was able to lose all the weight on time and I did not need any alterations! Thank you for everything Lulu!

I just had my wedding dress alteration today and I ordered a veil & sash! I had an excellent experience! Very friendly! My appointment was at 11:00am and I was out the door by 11:55 not bad I must say! Lol I can’t wait for my Final fitting! I will be coming back for more future business!

I don’t understand how this business has 5 stars. If you are looking for friendly or reasonable customer service, I DO NOT recommend coming here. The owner is rude, never takes any responsibility for her actions and has an excuse for everything. They don’t have any communication within the employees so they don’t tell you when your dress is ready, they measure you incorrectly so you end up getting the wrong dress size and your appointments are forgotten.
Don’t expect to get a call when your dress is ready for a fitting. If you want it in a timely matter, you need to follow up with them multiple times. When we first ordered the dresses, we were told they would be there in about a month. After over a month went by, we had to call ourselves to see if the dresses had come in yet. When we finally called to see what was going on, we were told «The dresses JUST got in today». What a coincidence!
When we got measured for our dresses they ordered sizes that were at least one size too large for us, and then blamed it on us for being «petite».
After the alterations, the shoulders on one of our dresses were still 2 inches off of where they measured it at the first fitting. Instead of taking responsibility and simply stating she will take care of it, she (again) blamed it on my sister because «She measured her for the size she was when she came in for the fitting.» As if she had shrunk in height by 2 inches since the fitting just weeks before.
If you make an appointment, be sure to call the day of and see if they will actually be there for it. On two occasions (once with an appointment, another when I called ahead to make sure they would be there) the store was already closed even though the hours posted say otherwise.
Being sick and having to leave unexpectedly is understandable, especially at a small business. At least have the decency to call and let your appointment know and reschedule, or even put a sign on the door to say you had to leave early for some reason or another. You have other employees at your business that can reach out to customers if you are in the hospital or unable to do so yourself.
Because of our bad experience with their shop, we asked if there was anything she could do for our trouble. Despite the many instances that we were unhappy with their business, the only «apology» was that «she is sorry she can’t predict when she will be getting sick» and only offered a $ 10 discount. Our bridal party ordered SIX dresses from their shop! How is a $ 10 discount is «all you can do» for terrible service, unnecessary trips and incorrect orders and alterations?
Having good customer service doesn’t mean you have to be perfect, but you can at least pretend to care about your customers and your business. On the shop’s last bad review, the owner was very unprofessional and still giving excuses. Instead of asking how she could change the customer’s experience, she explained why she was not in the wrong.
Save yourself the trouble and find another bridal shop.

My friend recommended Illusion since she had bought her dress there. I ultimately did not purchase my wedding dress from them but their selection is well-​curated; I would highly recommend them not only for their dresses but also for their impeccable service.
The associate that helped me was extremely patient. On top of that, she made good recommendations that I did not think of trying on myself. It was a shame I didn’t find my dress here but brides, please don’t pass up on Illusion when you are looking for your wedding dress!

When looking for a tuxedo to attend an event, I looked no further than right here in Uptown! A necessary fixture in our community and an established business, Lulu and her team came through with a classic tux along with an elevated client service experience that deserved this 5-​star review. Even to the day an event, for a small request, they delivered on my needs and helped me celebrate a wonderful night. I give them my highest recommendation without reservation!

I walked in the store thinking I had to probably buy a new dress and my wedding was only a few months away especially I was told by another seamstress that my dress was too beaded and it would come undone. My dress was a size 12 and I bought the dress way in advance and lost a lot of weight.
Lulu made a miracle happen and she rest assured me that she would take care of it. One less thing I had off my plate. Not only she altered it to a size 6 but she even enhanced it.
I couldn’t anymore grateful. She’s honest and truthful. Thank you Lulu!

I’ve been a long time customer of Lulu. She’s done everything from my prom, my wedding dress, daughters communion dresses, and now my daughters high school events. Her business is one of kind, I would never go any where else! If your looking for the best then look no further!

Can’t say enough what a wonderful place this is. Lulu takes the time to listen to what you want and makes it happen. She is a perfectionist and takes pride in her work and it shows. I took her my wedding dress which was a mess after I had alterations done in Huntington park and she fixed it all!!!

It is my daughters senior year and it’s PROM time!!!
My daughter described the vision she had for her Prom dress and Lulu nailed it!!!
Lulu took us to the fabric store to pick out the exact color, material and fancy design (I don’t know what they call the beautiful lacy design she used on the bodice). Once the fabric was picked out it was time to start making the dress. My daughter is petite at only 4’10″ with a curvy figure so Lulu had to design the dress to accentuate her legs and make her appear taller then she really is.
We have been coming to Illusion Bridal for years. We have had a few bridesmaids dresses done here, as well as communion dresses. We have always been well taken care of and loved our dresses.
Thank you for helping to make my daughters Senior Prom a beautiful memory!

I had the greatest experience here and would highly recommend it to everyone. The shop is an adorable boutique with a great variety in gowns and has the sweetest personnel. Lulu was such a pleasure to work with; not only did she guide me to designer lines within my budget, but had the gown in store for me in less than 2 weeks. Alterations were also speedy and were completed in a weeks time. My only reservation is that my bustle came undone soon after hooking it on for the first time, the hook came off and had to struggle holding my gown up all night.
Thank you, Lulu for being so welcoming and professional… Because of you, I never had to stress about my gown arriving or being done on time.
