I went to the Willow Grove Mall AT&T store to have my phone number switched from my parents account to my own. I told the guy working the counter I only wanted the 2gb data plan. He agreed & said it’s all taken care of & said it’s done. When I asked my for a receipt or paperwork he stated«oh you don’t need it, it’s all online». I was a new a customer I had no idea how the online services worked. The tone of his voice and the line he said made me a bet skeptical. When I received my bill a few days later I was furious. He put me on my parents family data plan giving me 10gb monthly for one line. I called AT&T & explained my problem but, I was already«in the billing cycle» so I had no choice but to pay the $ 145 bill or have the option to not pay the bill and having my phone shit off & ruin my credit. Always get everything in writing!!!
