Formerly Handelman Hearing Aids, Brandywine Hearing Center has been serving the Hearing Healthcare needs of our community since 1932. Our customers come from Wilmington, Newark, Bear, Eastern Maryland, Southeastern Pennsylvania and beyond.

Business Owner

Dr. Michael A. Michelli, Au.D. FAAA is the business owner and Audiologist. Dr. Michelli has been an Audiologist for over 15 years and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University, a Master of Science in Audiology from Gallaudet University and a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University — Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Michelli worked with the previous owner from 2000 until his passing in 2009 and now owns the practice. We have recently changed our name from Handelman Hearing Aids to Brandywine Hearing Center. Our name has changed but our long history of great service is even better!
