Our favorite pizza spot in the area. We had been searching for a good pizza spot since moving to the area 2 ½ years ago. Hidden Gem, we tried it on a whim last September after a long day at soccer traveling back after reading other reviews on Unilocal.Have ordered take out many times since. Try the Grandmom’s pizza. Want to try other things on future visits/orders. Place is a little small, so there may be a wait, but it is worth it. Otherwise leverage the take out. Order is always ready on time and fresh out of the oven. Great spot!

Ordered Chicken Francese and Pollo Alla, both were excellent. They came with chicken soup which was hot and fresh. The complimentary bread they served was just out of the oven and was soft and tasty. Definitely must try.

Good food and friendly staff. Reminds me of a trattoria that you would find in Italy. Pizza here is one of the few good ones that we have found in DE so far. Had the rigatoni with bolognese sauce and was pleasantly surprised, pasta was cooked perfect and the meat sauce was simple but tasty, just like it’s made in Italy, no added sugar and no overwhelming spices. Definitely will be back to try other dishes, I hear that their meatballs are just as good.

Love everything about this place. Wonderful savory dishes, small cozy atmosphere. But due to the size there are problems that can be corrected very easily. For example, on a cold winter day/evening door open letting in a gust of cold air that chills you to the bones if you are seated nearby. Which means half of the restaurant customers are seated near door. Since there is no room to build something, how about a clear plastic curtained mounted from ceiling just inside door or on outside? See this in many places. Summertime poses the opposite. summertime the heat from the kitchen is overwelming to point of fainting if you are seated at other end of restaurant. Meaning half of customers are being sweated out. Need an additional wall mounted air condioners in this area. Thanks great restaurant.

I’ve passed this place 100 times but was hungry for a quick lunch and my trusty Unilocal app told me they were good from all the reviews so I dropped in. It’s located in a non– descript tiny strip right next to an even tinier stop with a Dunkin Donuts and what looks like an old school, old fashioned closed Wawa. The place was jamming. They take your order at the register and then bring it to your table when it’s ready. I was hungry for a slice and a soda and luckily they had a deal. The nice waitress delivered my soda after taking my order and soon after, brought two plain slices. The slices were thin crusted and tasty. But ATBEST they were warm to the cold side. Major points deducted. This place has promise. I will be back.

Great pizza in Wilmington, finally! Great pizza and the garlic knots are out of this world! I look forward to trying more off the menu at this fine establishment.

Loved the garlic knots and the pizza was very good too! Family is very nice and friendly. The fughedaboutit was very filling and meaty, tasted better when dipped in sauce, in my opinion.

the pasta is cooked perfectly in a small pizza shop on Naaman’s road. Lines out the door at 6pm. Reasonably priced, tasty and free pizza samples if you;re waiting in line. salads are fresh, though low rent, hot bread, triangle shaped pizza dough with sesame seeds. predictable chicken soup is a nice alternative to the salad. The seductive strawberry shortcake in the glass case enjoyed at home was pretty good. Service was fast and friendly

Café Sitaly is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in North Wilmington. The menu caters to whatever you are in the mood for from just a quick REAL Italian sandwich to dinners that are to die for. My personal favorite is the cavatelli with sausage and spinach. Oh I almost forgot about the pizza! By far the best pizza in the area that will not be replicated unless you are in Brooklyn. Try the grandma pizza. While the food is stellar, the real reason I keep going back is the staff that makes me feel at home on every visit. Try Café Sitaly out and once you meet the owner, Tony, who treats all his guests like family, you’ll be a repeat customer just like me…

Awesome pizza. I’ve tried the plain, bruschetta, grandmom’s, veggie and tomato pie. The tomato pie was definitely awesome. Great crust. Plenty of flavor. Not spicy though(if that’s what you’re looking for). Also, I love the gluten free crust. I recommend trying it. It worked especially well for a grandmom-style pie.

I use to eat there every night, to a point with some of the customers said do you ever cook at home? Haven’t been there for a while but if you go I only recommend the Bolognese sauce and strictly ask for marinara sauce and not the tomato sauce. I wish they had a hot anti-Posto like a lot of Sicilian traditional restaurants have. But I guess you got to go to New York City for that Or Sicily.

I went here a few weeks ago with my family and I wasn’t very impressed. The food was okay, but I was mostly thrown off by how small the place was. I felt like I was sitting with the people next to me – kind of uncomfortable. Although the atmosphere was not in my favor, the service was great and the workers were friendly. Despite my first average experience here, I decided to give this place another chance and ordered takeout. This time, I have to say that the food was delicious. I give it 4 stars for the food, and 3 for the atmosphere. In other words, this place is great for takeout. Definitely better than ordering from Ninos.

Had the white pizza and fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The bread they give you with dinner was very good and the pizza was great. Good crust and fresh Ingredients, although they could go a little lighter on the garlic. The fettuccine tasted very good, however it only came with two jumbo shrimp and then some baby shrimp. It would have been better if they were to do away with the baby shrimp and just give more normal sized shrimp(not necessarily jumbo shrimp, as I know they are expensive). Overall, I will likely return to Café Sitaly. The service was good, the waitress was very pleasant and was there when we needed her, and the pizza was delicious and I’m looking forward to trying a different pizza next time.

Visited this spot for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The service was good, very friendly staff, appetizers were good, we all had different dinner meals and we all enjoyed it. The strawberry shortcake for dessert was good too. We will definite come back again!

This is a gem. Very much like south philly restaurants used to be. Friendly staff, great food with great flare and good prices. In a strip mall so the ambiance is not the draw… but the food is. Generous amounts of garlic and just the right level of spice and heat in the sauces. Simple but oh so delicious. Our server Chrysta was efficient but made us feel at home from the start. Her recommendations were great. We really enjoyed our evening there. Be aware the place is not large, we got right in but I suspect we were lucky. This food is worth the wait and don’t fail to try the broccoli rabe

Northern Delaware, Represent!!! I live close to PA/DE border and for years worked in DE but have been remiss in trying” below the border” spots. My special gentleman friend has become a Unilocal convert so when he saw over 4 stars for this Italian Restaurant/Pizzeria in a strip mall off Naamans road(rt 92) He said«Lets go». This place is so cute and the food is really good so C’mon Philly peeps, take the 30 minute drive from Center City. And no tax! Yes it is a pizzeria. And yes when you dine on the restaurant fare you are basically seated in a pizzeria like environment. But don’t let that dissuade you. The seating is very comfortable. The menu and the food are great! I’ve dined in South Philly/NYC many times and the taste here is reminiscent of those venues with its authentic, excellently crafted menu items. Everyone here seemed to be enjoying their meals. The atmosphere and vibe is homey here. When you taste your entrée you imagine someone’s grandma was in the back making it just for you. Both of us had Chicken Piccante which came with a side salad and nice, flat Italian bread and butter. 3 slices of chicken breast in a mellow lemon butter sauce topped with capers atop a bed of spinach. The chicken was accompanied with pasta that tasted fresh. The sauce was just perfect in that you could taste all 3 but it was not overwhelmed by the flavor of just one. A perfect blend. Our wonderful experience was complimented by warm Italian dinner music. Premium beers were incredibly reasonable priced. House wines are a good price too. Luckily we arrived at 5:45 because there were no seats by by 615 on a Monday night. When we left at 7 there was literally a line out the door spilling onto the walkway so the locals know about this place. On a Monday night!!! The locals might want to keep it a secret but I am passing the secret on… You won’t be disappointed if you stop here for dinner. .

I’m a sucker for clever business names and puns. When I drove by Sitaly right around dinner time and with no other plans I had to stop. I had low expectations simply because so many other similar looking places are so bleh. I will confess I walked in with a chip on my shoulder, fully expecting that if I were to order something like the lasagna they’d pull a portion from the freezer and microwave it into submission. I walked in and my first impression was nice, clean and more of a takeout place than a good sit down. Nevertheless, the server quickly found me and seated me. She came back quickly to take my order. The menu had all of your typical italian joint options. I had a tough time settling but in the end, with my server’s guidance, I chose the chicken parm with cavatelli. While I was waiting she brought me a freshly made roll with butter. Of course I ate that. She offered me another and I requested that she not bring it until my meal came. Sure enough, once my chicken parm arrived, she returned to my table shortly after with another roll, for mopping up the marinara. Any concerns I’d had about this kitchen being bleh or not authentic completely dissipated when I cut into my chicken. I’ve had so many rubbery chicken cutlets in restaurants I’m almost afraid to order them anymore. I’m glad I ordered this one because it was cooked perfectly, flavorful and tender. The pasta was also perfect. I’m not sure but I believe it was store made because it was so fresh and al dente. I loved my dinner. I reserved half of it to have another time and then I used my second roll to clean my plate. I asked for a togo box, paid my bill and headed out. I am so disappointed that I was a few miles down the road before I realized that I had left my leftovers sitting on the table. Now I have a reason to return.
