Very tasty pizza. Not a huge selection but quick and easy and you won’t need anything other than the great pizza!

Yum. I recommend the Mother Clucker. Good pizza reasonable price. Don’t expect anything fancy and you will be happy. Note… If you give attitude you will get attitude. The folks who run the place are generally quite pleasant.

Over cooked cheese slices from a girl with a really snotty attitude. If you like to look at saggy breast tattoos, this is your place. One word. Turtleneck.

Not being brick-​oven NYC Napolitan style, I was getting ready for some run-​of-​the-​mill greasy Greek pizza. WRONG! The crust as well as all of the other ingredients were first rate. The sauce had a touch of sweetness to it which I really liked. Really surprised, will definitely go again. Not NYC thin crust but there is more to good pizza than just one type.

The place is about 1 to 2 miles outside of town. Definitely worth the drive. Good pizza. Best of all, no lines and no wait. You can do some shopping at the local supermarket on you way back to the Mount Snow

WHoP is a classic New England pizzeria with classic New England style pizza. The crust is not too thick, but not as thin as NY style; it is soft and chewy, and ever so slightly sweet. I think they tend to err on the side of lightly cooking the pizza, but if you want it crispier, you can ask them to keep it in the oven longer. They’ve also got all the other staples you’d expect: good wings and jalapeño poppers, subs, salads, etc. As others have mentioned, the Tuesday nights special is a real steal, too!

This is my favorite pizza place in town. Excellent service, great food, and good prices. Tuesday is even $ 10 pizza night.

Ate here on a Monday night, take-​out.
We ate at Tommy’s pizza for years, and were curious when we noticed the change in signage/​name. Tommy’s was our standby pizza in Wilmington. It started out quite good, and over the years declined in quality a bit so we didn’t eat there as often, and eventually stopped. Thus our curiosity: how different will WHOP be from Tommy’s? Who are the new owners and will they be more focused on quality than the previous régime?
The new staff were employees of Tommy’s and bought the establishment, and are now running it. So whatever they were doing at Tommy’s, there may be a good chance they will continue doing now as WHOP. Time will tell.
Some changes were evident. The menu has several specialty combo pizzas that are original and appetizing, I don’t know if these were on the Tommy’s menu.
WHOP uses a loyalty approach using small triangular (pizza slice-​shape) magnets per visit, if you bring in 4−6−8 magnets you get free/​discounted food. On Tuesday evenings a large one topping pizzas just $ 10 (no magnet required).
When I picked up our pizza at 6 PM on a Monday, there was one couple eating in the restaurant. Pizza was ready within 10 minutes of ordering, which was great.
Pizza crust was moderately thick, not a thin crust and not a Chicago-​style thick crust. Crust was a bit chewy (good) and not crunchy or with any veneer of crunch. Tomato sauce was slightly sweet. Toppings were fresh and good. We enjoyed it and would return again. This pizza is nowhere near some of the best pizza I’ve experienced in small towns or big cities. But as the old saying goes, «Pizza is like sex. When it’s good, it’s really good. And when it’s not so good, it’s still pretty good.»
When I return, I think I’ll try a specialty pizza like the Sardinia (Minced Garlic, Fresh Sliced Tomatoes, Anchovies) or the Veggie Lover (Fresh Mushroom, Onion, Green Pepper). I am kinda surprised not to see a Margherita pizza (tomato, mozzarella, basil) as this has become a standard in good pizza places.
Service was efficient and friendly. Establishment was clean. Parking is easy. Atmosphere is very relaxed.

Formerly Tommy’s Pizzeria, Wilmington House of Pizza is casual pizza shop located just east of the center of Wilmington on Route 9, across the road from Wahoo’s. This is a good place to stop for lunch and dinner between Brattleboro and Bennington and to/​from the slopes. I’ve been here a few times when the place was Tommy’s.
The place is very casual with wood walls, order at the counter with self serve (blue) booth seating and a jukebox in the dining room. For fun, there is a Toy Taxi (skill crane-​win prizes), video poker, and California Speed arcade games, plus a flatscreen TV in the restaurant.
The menu offerings include Greek traditional and specialty (20 kinds) style pizzas (10″-16″), hot & cold subs, salads (with Ken’s dressings & Tommy’s Signature Homemade Greek Dressing), wings, fried foods, baked rigatoni dinners/​parmesans, Utz bagged chips, and Pepsi products, Gatorade, & bottled water in the cooler. The prices are moderate and fair, salads ($ 6.50-$ 9), subs ($ 7-​$ 8.50), rigatoni (stuffed with ricotta) dinners ($ 10-​$ 12.50), and specialty pizzas ($ 9.50-$ 23). On Tuesday nights (4PM-​8PM), a large one topping pizza is $ 10, normally $ 14.25.
I stopped by recently for takeout. They did not have pizza slices available, so I ordered a Small Eggplant Pizza ($ 8.50 plus tax), which was ready in about 20 minutes. The pizza tasted pretty good, which had a very crispy crust on the bottom and along the rounded edges, light texture inside, topped with good tomato sauce, round thin slices of eggplant and a thick layer of 3 cheese blend of mozzarella, cheddar, & provolone, browned on top, not too greasy. This pizza place is still on my list of places to stop to eat on my drives through Southern VT.
FREE WIFI is offered here, which is a big plus since outside data coverage (from mobile carriers) is non existent in this area.
