I recently had thyroid surgery performed by Dr. Brown. At the age of 57 I have been very fortunate to have had limited ailments in the past so being told I needed surgery was concerning to me. I was referred to Dr. Brown by another doctor but wasn’t going to schedule surgery with him unless I was comfortable with him. Within minutes of meeting him during that initial visit I knew he was going to be the Surgeon for me!!! First and foremost he and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. He educated me about the thyroid. He drew pictures of the thyroid, explained the procedure and recovery. I felt I was going to be in good hands. Dr. Brown is a doctor who truly loves what he does and that shows through in his bedside manner. Not only a great Doctor but a great human!!! Thank you again!!!

Honestly, I hardly ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to highly recommend Dr. Brown. He is the perfect balance of conservative, yet thorough. When my son was in Kindergarten he was referred to Dr. Brown because of chronic soar throats. At this time he quickly asked us about concerns/​symptoms of sleep apnea. Sure enough my son did have it! After He had his tonsils removed by Dr. Brown at Winchester Hospital his quality of life and health improved dramatically. My younger children have had tubes put in by him, as well as my 2 yr old had her adenoids removed by him. Again she has been sinus infection free & ear infection free! Huge positive improvement in her overall health! All this being said, he has fabulous follow through/​follow up care. He always personally calls to check on my kids post-​op and after any significant tests/​treatments. The communication with him and his office is always very good! I just can’t say enough, great doctorates me I understand that NO one wants their kid to have an operation, but if they have too, I would trust Dr. Brown completely he is not quick to operate yet knows when it needs to be done.

I just came back from a very nice initial visit with Dr. Brown for a «clogged ear». In addition to the office being lovely and quaint, the front desk staff were very friendly. Dr. Brown’s was a very personable individual who took ample time and attention to his assessment of my ear. I highly recommend this physician.
