Just finished my first meal from these guys. It was great. Very good chicken as good as if not better then chicken rico in baltimore. Great home made horchata. I think their dipping sauces are home made as well. One minor complaint was that the yellow dipping sauce was really salty. Everything else was awesome. Will go back soon!

My heart just shattered after hearing this place closed down from a fellow Unilocaler. If anyone knows if the owner is opening up a new spot please please contact me and tell me the address.

A recent addition to the aging strip mall across from Security Mall, this mom and pop serves very good Peruvian grilled fares. The Peruvian rotisserie chicken is excellent. The skin is charred nicely with succulent meat and is well-seasoned. The tilapia ceviche is fresh with a well balanced ahi and lime salsa. The assortment of side dishes are well prepared. The yucca is crispy and the rice and beans are solid choices. It would be better if their green salsa had some more of their ahi to kick it up a notch. It’s too mild. For the folks that are more adventurous, their Mixto plate of beef tripe and heart is really tasty. Ask for some ahi to put on it. Both are nice and tender and well prepared. Not overly chewy at all. Though, that dish could really use a cerveza to accompany it.

Excellent chicken. Be sure to pair it with the white rice and red beans! Fried yucca is delicious too, but they need to boil it a little longer and fry it a little more. This restaurant provides many, many of our family dinners!

Having read a few Unilocal reviews, we decided to try this place out today for lunch. I got the half chicken with green beans and red beans as sides. My brother got the steak and cheese(don’t ask me why…). I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty and juicy the chicken was. Sides dishes were good as well. I’ve tried plenty of Peruvian chicken places, and I must say that this place will be on the top spot! Must try their chicken and ask for the green hot sauce. Good service. Good people. Hope these guys do well and stick around. :)

I live near this place and had been meaning to try it so a co-worker and I ventured there for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the half chicken was really tasty and well seasoned. All the sides I tried were very well seasoned too. It wasn’t crowded at all even during a Friday lunch rush so I suspect most of their business is carry out. The place isn’t very big but there are a few tables if you want to dine in like we did. I will definitely go back.

I’m an avid fan of Sardis and its been two years since I’ve had Peruvian chicken(it’s a desert land in Philly for Peruvian chicken). This is right up there with Sardis and ill be coming here everytime I stop by MD. Customer service was incredible as well. Both JC’s were incredibly welcoming. hilarious as well. They made sure the food was great and walked me through everything they had. Incredible stuff.

Its aroma pulled me inside! And man… am a fan of it now! This is the first time i was trying Peruvian dish and I was kind of nervous. But the guy there, he is very friendly and explained me what Peruvian dish is and he suggested me based on my taste buds. I had the sea food Ceviche. It is absolutely fantastic and yummy! It has strong lemony flavor which makes your senses go tangy! :). The corn and the sweet potato added to the flavor. The texture of the fish was smooth and silky… and since it was soaked completely in zesty lemon juice, it was super tangy and i love it. I also tried their authentic rice drink(i dont remember its name). That too was sweet and amazing. I’m going again… and next time I’m gonna try the delicious charcoal chicken.

I found this place by accident, and lucky for me! It is absolutely delicious! Great Service and I’m looking forward to going back to continue trying other items on the menu.
