First time here and I’m impressed. The service was quick, courteous, and the cheapest I’ve paid for a smog check ever.

As a woman, going to a «mechanics alley» is never fun (noisy, etc) But it was time to get a smog check for my DMV registration. The owner (I forgot his name) was 100% inviting, patient, friendly and professional. It didn’t take long at all. I would defiantly recommend him and his location. $ 40 with his $ 29.75 coupon (certificate fee is added also like everywhere else) You can’t beat that !

Getting a vehicle smogged is usually such a downer experience, but this guy was so courteous and polite I almost wished I had another car to bring in the next day. I’ll never go anywhere else from now on.

Me and my father stopped by for a smog check. The service was excellent! Not only did we get the smog test, Alan ran a diagnostic test on my car because of a engine light in which we figured out my battery wasn’t connected properly. Over all great experience.

This my 2^nd time coming here and I’m just as impressed as the first time. Quick, curious, professional and fair!. Both of my times have been walk ins, I was done in about 20 min each time. Alan is a very polite gentleman who I would gladly do business with over and over again.

I felt I had to revise my original post after my second experience at Smog Master. I originally had a 5 star experience, but brought it down to 3 stars after this last visit.
I brought my ’87 911 back in for a smog check and Alan was willing to preform a Diagnostic «Pre-​Test» for me for free since I was a returning customer. He told me my car probably would not pass either CO or CO2 (can’t remember which one exactly), but he could repair the car and get it to pass for $ 200. I called my mechanic and was told that my car should not have a problem passing smog. I took it to my mechanic to look it over and his diagnostic showed that the car was fine. $ 60 later my car was good to go.
At first I felt like Alan was trying to rip me off and get me to pay for something that was not needed, but he doesn’t strike me as that kind of person so I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe he just missed something.

Tthis place is clean, fast, honest, and fair. Charged me about $ 50 for a smog check (waived the $ 20 for the EVAP Test that was on the estimate because it was not needed) that 3 other places quoted well over $ 100 because the car was a Porsche. The shop was clean and comfortable while I waited. He was a nice guy and we chatted while he worked on my car. Overall Great experience!
Had a horrible experience with another smog shop so I am glad Alan was able to work with me. Thanks again buddy!!!

Fantastic service by Alan, professional and friendly. He started out with a diagnostic of my car’s computer to make sure all systems were ready for the smog check. I could see less scrupulous places skipping this step either out of laziness or just so they could potentially charge the customer for a «fail.»
He then aligned my car on the rollers (whatever they’re called lol) prior to the test, something other places could also cut corners on by doing it during the test. Little details like this showed me Alan was less concerned with ringing up a sale and more concerned about safety and being professional.
During the other tests, he was very helpful in explaining (simply for a layman like me) the benefit of properly maintaining your air filter so it doesn’t snowball into a scenario that ultimately damages your catalytic converter and racks up a greater repair bill.
My 1999 Honda Accord LX, with the original CC, passed with flying colors! After getting wallet gouged at the DMV (stupid parking tickets) I am legal for another year :)
Make sure to get the coupon off their site for $ 32.75. With the $ 10 Smog Certificate, it was $ 42.75 out the door. No hidden costs or fees or other BS. Straight up place.
