So incredibly rude and not very helpful at all. Went in looking for a blue label Glock and was basically treated as if I was asking for a free gun. Got almost no assistance and all questions were met with attitude and skepticism.

Me and my husband went there to buy a gun, we also went shooting and when we were done he tried to buy a gun told them he was military. They told him he couldn’t buy a gun and instantly changed there attitude from snobby to ignorant and super rude, they didn’t even want to talk to us, I do not recommend this place at all.

First time there and the first impression was very good. Everyone seemed helpful and friendly. There were plenty of employees there so you don’t feel ignored. The stalls had many spent shells but what else would you expect overall clean. Many choices of targets to choose from and the price was reasonable. Not sure how pricey it gets as I brought my own gun and ammo. Will go again.

Great atmosphere and very customer friendly. Only thing that kept it from a 5 star rating is their firearm prices are higher than other places for blue label stuff.

Don’t even try to buy a gun here. A Sales representative had told me they were getting an order of glock 42’s in. So then when I called 4 days later he told me they were all in stock and I was good to come pick one up
3 HOURS LATER I show up to buy it and the sales guy there tells me they are out of stock and actually DID not receive any big shipments. I explained to him what i had been told and by the other employee and he just shrugged at me. I walked out of the store to calm down then came back in and nicely asked if I could get one put on hold for the troubles I had experienced, he seemed to give off the vibe that it was just a pain for him to even try for me… so I just left. This place will definitely NOT ever get any more of my business due to the quality of service… miscommunications between employees like that is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
Just because they have a large stock of rental guns does not give them the right to treat actual buying customers that purchase equipment with a attitude.

I’m a complete novice after moving here from the uk, but the entire team here has been amazing with great, honest and courteous advice.
The place is immaculate and a great stock of guns and accessories.

I used to rent diffent types of pistols at EOSS until I decided wich one I wanted. The one thing that really made sense then was me paying for their ammo because I didn’t have my own firearms. Since then, I have my own firearms and recently I took my ear muffs, eye protection, targets and ammo to try out one firearms I was interested in purchasing. I was denied use of my own ammo even if I rented their pistol. So for me to try out a pistol renting it, renting the lane, the cost was prohibitive at nearly $ 40 for 50 rounds of 9 mm. I asked the guy who I don’t remember who was to let me use my own ammo. It’s Winchester, 9 mm brand new ammo. Nope SIr, you cannot use your own ammo. You have to buy ours because of «insurance». Are you kidding me? I could have tried that pistol for about $ 23 renting their lane and pistol plus the much lower cost of bringing my own ammo since I buy it bulk. Outcome? I am not returning to this place anymore. I drive to Shoot Straight in Casselberry where I can bring my own ammo (even though they don’t rent firearms there), but who cares, I have my own now. I see if I have a friend who has the firearm I want to try. Not returning to EOSS anymore. They are making it difficult to do business with them.

This place is awesome. Don’t believe the hype. No BS. Filled out paperwork. got a lane. Had a blast. Ammo is approximately $.30 for 9 millimeter F MJ. I’m from out of town. I’ve definitely never going to before. Despite that, They did not waste our time. Really friendly.

I would email you if I thought you really cared but your snarky smile comment clearly shows you are providing lip service only and the arrogance is systemic.
A focus on safety while conducting business is achieved in your competitors facilites in a far less paranoia induced environment.
The EOSS facility is a physically pleasing experience.
However, the staff is a mix of competant and hardcore cocky, the latter being the weakness and most memorable aspect.

Well its been a year since my last review… and I am sad to see the direction EOSS has gone during that time. I will no longer purchase guns/​ammo/​accessories from East Orange. The customer service regarding **any** issue is subpar at best. They refuse to match any other place’s prices. They mark their ammo up 50%. They will transfer a firearm for $ 40 (double the cost of other reputable FFL accredited places). They sell range cards for a great price BUT God forbid you lose it… they will not credit you for unused range time. My last point is the one I’m most upset about. Eoss will write the name of the shooter on the card, giving the impression that some record is kept with regards to the card’s use. Yeah right. I had just received a new card as a gift, and unfortunately it fell out of my wallet. Within 48 hrs of its purchase I contacted EOSS for a replacement. I even offered to go halve-​seez on a new card because the lost card was only 2 days old. Despite having a credit card receipt to confirm my dilemma, EOSS took the stance of losing a customer instead of trying to retain one. Too bad.

It was my first time here so i didn’t know what to expect so I was nervous but the guys that work there are friendly and helpful so it makes me feel comfortable! You can rent guns here or you can bring your own which will make it cheaper because they charge for everything including the ear plugs the glasses bullets the targets and so on! And in the range it’s hot but still a good experience! I recommend anyone coming here

I have never handled a gun aside from water pistols and playing some rounds of Duck Hunt on the original Nintendo, so truth be told, I was exceptionally nervous when I first arrived at EOSS. The staff was not only professional, but exceptionally welcoming and understanding of my concerns as a first time visitor to a shooting range. Although I was visiting with a seasoned shooter, the warmth of the staff really helped me feel at home in a completely foreign environment.
The staff members reviewed all the range rules in plain language without sounding the least bit condescending. As a first timer, I was apprehensive about sticking out like a sore thumb or being judged, but EOSS welcomes first timers and provides a healthy learning environment. That doesn’t mean I was completely at ease, but that was purely my trying to conquer my fear of handguns. The staff helped to alleviate the tension with some light humor and genuine smiles, making my first shooting experience a memorable and soothing one.
The showroom is well organized, and the range rental counter is situated separate from the sales counter. While EOSS is located in a more industrial area, the facilities are well maintained and the staff is diverse. There are hand guns available for rental, but we arrived with our own. I was able to learn about basic gun safety and found the inspection prior to range usage informative and hassle-​free. Having never been to a shooting range, I deferred to my guide who noted the pricing was fair and appropriate for the rental of the lane and number of targets provided.
The range area requires eye and ear protection, and if you do not bring your own, they do have items available. The staff was visible and available to answer questions, and they took time to situate us in lanes away from the regulars, so I could learn without feeling overwhelmed. This attention to detail really makes me look forward to not only learning more about handling guns, but it drives me to visit EOSS again. First timers and veterans alike will find themselves happy with their shooting sport experience at EOSS without a doubt. Can’t wait to go back!

This is the only store I purchase from when in need of a new firearm or for target practice. The staff is very knowledgeable and will educate you on the many firearms in stock. You are allowed to rent weapons which enables you to try before you buy. This will give you an idea of what firearm is right for you. Range prices are reasonable and usually in the morning, they have lanes available. Ammo prices are going to be higher than what you will find online so my suggestion is to bring your own ammo. They offer a large selection of holsters whether it be concealed or not. It is located off Forsyth and there is a large billboard which will direct you to turn on Gardner Street.

This was my first time at a shooting range, but I came with friends that had been many times before. My brother-​in-​law brought his own guns and ammo, so all we needed to rent was the lane and the ear /​eye protection. It was ladies’ night, so my sister and I were able to score a discount (plus you see a ton of ladies shooting weapons — guys take note here…).
We were assigned two lanes in the main area since you can’t have more than 3 people on a single lane, and we had 4. Each of us was able to pick out a target for decimating with weaponry and ammo. I of course chose the zombie, who wouldn’t, am I right? Once we had ear /​eye protection rented, on and ready, we headed back to our lanes and set up our stations.
It took us about two hours to use up all the ammo we had on hand and one box that my hubs purchased after about an hour and half or so. We had fun shooting stuff up and taking pictures and making bets on who would win randomly made up contests. I won one and my brother-​in-​law won the other. Not bad for a first timer!

Easy process renting everything (after signing that we wouldn’t sue them for accidentally shooting ourselves or others), friendly staff and a fun time had by all!

We visited this shooting range in December and it was the third time we had visited this particular range. I took my two boys and my daughter. My daughter is only 14 and this was her first time shooting and Jose looked after her well and giving her a safe and relaxed instruction.
Myself and the boys had fun with AK47’s, 38’s and 44 Magnums making other handguns and rifles. My 12 year old son especially liked the 9 mm and also the silencer on the handgun that Jose let us use as a special treat. My 15 year old could not get enough of the AK47 whilst my personal favourites were the Magnums.
If you are looking for a break from the theme parks in Orlando this is defiantly recommended.

They’re currently renovating so expect a wait on weekends, especially Sundays. Since EOSS has a first come first serve policy for their lanes, I suggest you get there early. I went one Sunday afternoon and there was a 3 hour wait at 11:30 am! To ensure a lane, I came back another Sunday and actually stood in line 15 minutes before opening.
Things to be aware for beginners/​newbs:
–Lane rental was $ 15 p/​p. Your fee includes goggles and noise-​cancelling headphones. (Bring extra ear plugs if you are sensitive.)
–Rentals are available if you need them.
–Paper targets are .75/​sheet, zombies are included in the selection.
–Bring your license, I’ve seen people forget them.
–Don’t have more than 3 people per lane, it just gets too crowded and stuffy.
–The range is ventilated, but not air conditioned. You will get warm, especially if it’s already hot outside.
Some staff members are really helpful, while others are not. Ex. Your estimated wait time might actually be longer than what they quoted you. There’s a great camaraderie among the regulars and new comers alike. If you are a female and free on Mondays, then there’s ½ off lane rentals for Ladies night. Ladies & gents, if it is your first time then I really recommend extra ear plugs. I had a person in the booth next to me get so startled when rounds went off. Since renovations are happening, rifle and pistol lanes are combined. So prepare yourself for some very intimidating sounds!
Anyways, EOSS is def. worth a visit, just don’t go when I go, please? :)

As a first-​time shooter, I found East Orange Shooting Sports to be a great place to start out. My boyfriend has been here before, but this was my first time around.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and not intimidating at all. We shot off a few rounds and paid just $ 32 for the two of us (we brought our own firearms). I didn’t have ear muffs or goggles, but the rentals were free, so it wasn’t a problem.
While it can get pretty hot in the room, there was enough ventilation to keep you from feeling like you’re in a sauna. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at EOSS.

East Orange Shooting Sports (EOSS) gun range is in central Florida’s Winter Park. It is located in East Orlando, minutes from University of Central Florida (UCF). EOSS has been in business for more than 10 years. EOSS is a clean bright facility with an open feel. The gun ranges can accommodate pistols, rifles and shotguns of most major calibers, but, automatic guns are not allowed. In fact they limit your shooting to one second per shot maximum.
I was staying in downtown Orlando at the Embassy Suites hotel for business meetings with others. A bunch of us decided to go shooting after our meetings ended early. Since we were a large party of nine we decided to get to EOSS early prior to 5pm before the crowds arrive. When we arrived we decided to rent Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry Smith & Wesson Model 29, 44 magnum revolver hand gun, a 9 mm Glock pistol and a Heckler & Koch (HK) rifle with laser sight.
We had access to three (3) ranges. When we first arrived I immediately wanted to shoot the 44 magnum. I loved it so much that I shot it with rapid fire. As a result I was warned by the staff that I should not shoot more than one shot per second. The 44 magnum was clearly the loudest of the guns with the most kick.
The HK rifle with laser sight was also unique for pinpointing distant shots. Check out my pics.
The one thing I did not like about EOSS is that they don’t allow the use of automatics. Otherwise this was another fun outing with my business associates.

Shot my first rifle and pistol here last week. I’m hooked! EOSS is a very clean and organized range and a lot bigger than Oak Ridge. The prices are very reasonable too! $ 14 per person to shoot rifles plus the cost of bullets and an additional $ 14 for the gun rentals which you can split between anyone else in your party.
