Bertucci’s

Sad sad sad. Cold and stale and no flavor and sad. Go there if you’re desperate for bread soaked in oil. The salad was okay. Service prompt. Yet, I just overheard a waiter argue with a customer about the amount of visible sauce on the plate.

Very average meal~ Chicken piccata was bland and the pizza underwhelming. We were greeted by a fairly pleasant waitress but the overall tone was not overly friendly

To start. Warm rolls with olive oil dipping sauce. Waitress did not bring the cheese or red pepper flakes to table. I had the 3 course dinner. Waitress dropped the salad on the side of the table as she walked by. I had a baked dish. The meal was so baked on to the plate it was a crust and some of it was edible in the middle. Waitress offered to change etc but said that’s how it’s baked. I declined. I asked and they cool it in the pizza over which I suspect is 900 degrees. Desert… Triple chocolate brownie sundae with whip cream vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauce. No caramel sauce. Proabable won’t try this chain again.

We come here all the Time, however, today, Very Disappointed! First, we waited over 25 minutes for a waitress to come to our table after the hostess sat us down. No one ever came after this. Therefore, we got up from her table and went to the hostess and requested to have takeout instead since evidently there was not enough attention to customers. Have to wean another 20 minutes for our take-​out order to be ready, I get home, and find in my food is burnt!!! Very, very disappointed!

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because we had a good waitress. New years eve party of 10 at 530. Nothing t that difficult one would think, not the case here. 5 kids 5 adults. None of the food came together, one of the kids pizza was supposed to have peperoni on it, it didn’t, Sent it back and all they did was slap a couple of pieces on it and gave it back to her. Not good. My sister and I split a large Caesar salad, when we got it it was the exact same size as a small one that my husband got, so basically we paid for the bigger side dish. We also split a vegetable calzone when we got that it was cooked on the outside not in the inside, Sent it back and when we looked at it out had a white melted something that was supposed to be cheese but tasted bad. Sent that back and just decided not to get anything. Waitress was apologetic, if wasn’t her fault the cooks couldn’t get anything right. I never had an experience like that at any other berticci’s. STAY AWAY FROM THE WOBURN MA LOCATION!

The whole family enjoyed the meal. Good service. Bathroom needed janitorial attention.

First time I’ve been to Bertucci’s and I didn’t expect too much from this place. The Insalata reminded me Olive Garden’s Salad and it was pretty good. Then I had the Grilled Portobello which was good. There is plenty of parking outside. I am sure I will come back to try more of the items on the menu.

Not worth your time unless you’re looking for below average food. The rolls and olive oil were the best part. Ordered a small Pucillo pizza and was very underwhelmed. Crust was burnt on the outside and soggy in the middle. Service was poor, waitress acted like she’d rather be elsewhere. Skip this place and go almost anywhere else.

Aweful. Turned off as i was waiting for my pickup order i seen a guy making pizza putting the sausage on pizza with his bare hands. my pizza was not good not cooked cheese not melted very disappointed.

Great lunch menu. Incredible value during lunch. The pizzas are okay but not great. I have a bunch of gift certificates which I got at Costco for a 20% discount. So a $ 20 pizza cost just $ 16 once you factor in the discount. But you can taste it.
I will say, that their pizza is better than Sal’s Pizza but not as good as Regina. Not even close to Regina.

After coming here several times, 3 stars seems about fair. I love the new wings and pizza menu they’ve added
Bbq chick pizza was good but the sauce was very sweet. The wings were also very good but were completely burnt on one side.
Being in the food service industry, I don’t expect a ton from my waiter but tonight really brought my opinion down.
He would disappear for 20 – 30 minutes at a time and a party of 10 needs some attention, especially when a 20% gratuity plus a tip is added on. To add on to our wonderful experience he asked the host to come over and explain that our wait was not his fault, we ordered too much for the kitchen to «serve us at once»

I’ve been to this Bertucci’s twice, both times on business as I’m not from the area. I have been to other Bertucci’s many times in my area and usually have good service /​food for a chain. This one though needs serious help when it comes to basic customer service!

–pizza was prepared well and tasted good!
–found parking in the lot easily
The CONs
–the service was pitiful… bartender appeared like he could careless about providing any kind of customer service
–never received any rolls until about 15min in after requesting them
–drink refills were slow and didn’t add anymore ice to the glass
–no hello or real welcome greeting upon entering the restaurant or once seated
–not once did the bartender check-​in to see everything was OK, did I need anything, NOTHING!
I was disappointed with my experience here. I normally enjoy Bertucci’s, but the lack of customer service earned this 2 star rating.
I will make it a point NOT to return to this location going forward unless their Unilocal score jumps up to 4 stars by my next business trip!

Dined at Bertucci’s with my wife last Saturday. Lot of diners but there was no wait and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and got us everything we needed. The Chicken Parma was very good and included a salad for under $ 16. That’s a very good price given they give you as many of those delicous rolls as you want. Not a single complaint. Good food, good service, my hat goes off to the guys manning the grill and ovens.

Came here to meet friends for lunch.
There was an issue when I asked if we could please sit at a booth. I understand why now… The server was horrible, just unbelievable how poor the service was. Please spare yourself. The excuses are abundant about why the service is so bad.
It’s so not worth it. Everyone blames everyone all the way from the manager to the trainee.

The 5 stars are for the excellent service my family and I received today. We were a party of 18 and we went after my son’s christening and everything was perfect thanks to the manager John and my server AnneMarie.
The HIGHS:
This place is not set-​up with a special room for banquets/​events but told us they would accommodate us in any way as long as we didn’t mind being in the main dining room.
The set-​up was perfect with a bunch of tables set up in a row in the middle of the dining room.
We arrived 30 min early and they seated us with a little wait and pleasant smiles.
When we sat there was salad, bread, and water waiting at the tables. I ordered sampler apps while we waited to be seated and they were served minutes after we were seated. Great timing and service!
Entrees came out quickly and everyone was very happy.
They allowed us to bring a cake.
AnneMarie provided us with great service. Super friendly and attentive.
John is the ultimate manager. He was everywhere. Setting up tables, greeting me and going over details, in the kitchen, running food to the table. This guy was everywhere and yet extremely attentive. He made everything there possible and made us feel so welcomed. Great manager and Bertuccis is lucky to have him.

Local chain restaurant with good food for decent prices. Homemade hot rolls and olive oil dipping sauce were quite good. Pizza sauce tasted fresh. Fresh ingredients for toppings.
Not a must try if you are in Boston for a short time but nothing particularly bad to say…

Service was pretty good. My son’s pepperoni pizza was great, and so were the stuffed mushrooms we ordered for an appetizer. The free rolls were awesome, but the pasta dishes my husband and I ordered were bland. Not worth the $ 50. Next time we’ll stick to the pizza.

Went for an impromptu dinner last night, the service was ok. Had to ask for everything, fork, glass of ice, napkin, u get it! The bright spot was mussels app, very tasty and cooked with sausage!
I ordered a grilled shrimp spinach strawberry salad, which would have been satisfying if there were more than 3 shrimp, and we are talking average shrimp not even large or jumbo! Asked for no onions, they were piled to the top, I told the waitress she replaced salad but… Waitress never came by again to check !!
Next time, if there is one. I will definitely speak up !!!

I’m usually a fan of Bertucci’s. I don’t go to them often anymore since they don’t have one near me, but took the opportunity to visit this one while I was staying at a hotel in the area.
I thought I’d give the online ordering system a whirl. Went for the Shrimp Rossini, a side of meatballs, and a Sprite. Not too difficult.
I was able to pick up my order in less than 20 minutes. Easy peasy.
The food itself was pretty good too. Loved the meatballs.
I’ll be back in this area again real soon… may try and eat in this time. ;-)

Yet another place that proves that chains ain’t all that bad. We went for lunch one day and ordered a pepperoni pizza for the table. It came with free unlimited salad and fresh baked rolls. The salad and rolls came immediately. I could have probably eaten a dozen of those fresh baked rolls, but I limited myself to one because we had pizza coming.
The pizza came perfectly cooked. The crust had some nice crispy crust and bubbly cheese on top with plenty of pepperoni.
Service was also great. No complaints here!
