One of the most important things a couple gets out of their wedding are the photographs. After the food has been eaten, the drinks have been drunks, the dancing has been danced, all you have left from that amazing day are the pictures. Without fantastic pictures, remembering one of the most important days of your life would be a lot harder.
John was absolutely amazing to work with. Originally we were going to go with another photographer entirely, but that ended up falling through which is a GREAT thing because John far exceeded our expectations. Out of all the photographers we saw, we liked his style the most. We used him for our engagement pictures and they came out fantastically so we were really excited to work with him when the wedding rolled around.
What is great about John is that he does not act like a vendor. He acts like your friend which makes everything much more relaxing (There’s enough stress with a wedding!) He is also incredibly affordable. What is nice is that he does not tack on $$$$$ just because it is for a wedding. With his talent he could easily charge A LOT more, but I think he realizes what is more important.
Our pictures came out fantastic, all our friends and family raved about how great they looked and how talented John is. There were a couple of shots I wish I could have gotten (I just forgot, oops) all the pictures we got were amazing, it’s hard for me to find any fault. If you are looking for an amazing, friendly and talented photographer, John is the guy!

We used John LoConte for our engagement pics back in October of 2008. I found him on Weddingbee via his fiancé’s posting. He was just starting out and looking to build his portfolio, so was offering a free shoot. We jumped on it! We had a fun day with Linette and John and think the pics were awesome! We were given all the rights to the pictures so we could print them whenever we wanted to. \
I’ve been following his blog and I definitely see quite an improvement in his work since then! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with his work. He’s a really nice guy too :)

After planning my own wedding which was the biggest one in our family, my cousin Sam enlisted in me to help him work within his painstakingly low budget to make his wedding nice. We contacted this guy because Sam’s now-​wife saw him on a website called The Knot. She lost her email that she got from him, so I contacted him with a more thorough set of questions, and he gave me a price. The fishy thing that left a bad taste in our mouths was that after I got a response, a few days later she found his original response with a price way different. We ended up looking elsewhere because of this. When I look back at this photographer, some of the work is nice but a lot of the shots look amatuer like with feet cut off, or bad use of flash almost like how people look when they get their passport photos done.
