All they have to improve is the ambience. Food and service were both phenomenal. My wife and I had a very cozy corner, so we had a fabulous evening.

I like this place. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive. The dining room has limited space but I usually do take-out and I never have to wait for the food to be prepared and packaged up ready to go. Check it out.

Awesome place and friendly staff. My friends and I have been back here for lunch couple of times and the food and service are ALWAYS super. I had friend chicken and grilled salmon the last two times that I went and they were awesome. The sushi was very good too. My friend is allergic to seaweed so they made the sushi for us in rice paper.

Maybe I’m a sushi snob, but to be honest, this was the worst sushi I’ve ever eaten. Ever. And it’s not that the fish is inedible, or what not, but from the décor of the place(it looks like an old lunch counter it probably was at one point), and the utter lack of customers when I went inside, to the completely wrong rice(unseasoned, too gummy and sticky, and completely bland), to just the limp and flavorless combinations of ingredients, it was basically like eating cardboard. The only thing it has going for it is rock bottom prices. But you get what you pay for.

I just had dinner from here, and I should have taken heed of the poor reviews. The vegetable tempura appetizer was heavy and oily, two things vegetable tempura should not be. I understand, it may have lost texture on it’s way home, but there is no chance it could get oily-er. In the sushi rolls, the cucumber was cut into large wedges, and not the classic matchsticks places usually do, so there was much more peel than desired. The spicy tuna was tuna with a dollop of hot sauce on top, by far the low point of my meal. The phily roll was good, but was dwarfed by the rest of the meal.

In an area where the options for sushi are limited at best this place is like an oasis in the desert. When I walked in to grab some food to go it was not busy(but it was a bit after the 12−1pm lunch hour) with the only people in the restaurant being the manager and chefs. I orders the sushi delux combo(menu had all of the sushi staples). It took about 10 minutes for them to make. When I returned to work to have the food it was more than adequate but not exceptional. I enjoyed the food but it did not blow me away. If they were in Boston or New York where competition is fierce they would be in trouble but for a quick lunch or takeout in Burlington they are fine and priced very well. Hope this helps…

Sorry to say that this little place did not do it for me. First, they had no bento boxes(something I thought was fairly commonplace at a Japanse restaurant). Second, the food really wasn’t that good. The people were nice and the place was clean. But, unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food.

Just a great, unassuming place with great sushi at a very affordable price. My favorite sushi place, actually. If you are ever near Woburn center and need a place to eat, go here. Plenty of selection, and a super friendly vibe. It’s worth mentioning again — unbelievably inexpensive.

Stopped in for a quicky lunch and wanted to see for myself what all the reviews were all about. I am a basic sushi lover. Tempura shrimp roll, miso soup, spicy tuna roll. It was all very fresh and tasty. I did not have to wait long, which is good as I don’t have much time at lunch. I hope to make it back for dinner to BYO and try more. It’s BYOB, as the other reviewer mentioned, so therefore I am adding this this my BYOB list. Parking is available on Main street.

We ordered food from Sushi Café as take out, so perhaps the five minutes of travel time was five too many, but I wasn’t impressed. It wasn’t bad(horrible) or bad(spoiled), but it wasn’t anything special. The seaweed wrapper of the maki I ordered was too chewy/tough and I hate having to pick seaweed out of my back teeth. The miso soup was decent but unremarkable. The real turn-off was the Agedashi Tofu(fried bean curd served with tempura sauce). Other sushi places have set up this sort of thing as nuggets of tofu with the outside golden-fried and the inside fluffy and light. These turned out to be mushy, white blobules coated with a thin, pale, membranous skin that cemented the failure of the frying attempt. I know they try to keep things healthy and all, but drop that stuff in some grease and fry it up! These tofu abortions were served with tempura sauce, which is somehow not soy sauce, it’s tempura sauce. Will someone tell me what exactly the difference is again? Anyway, I’m not feelin’ this place. Even though I’d like to support a local business and it’s close to my house, I’ll be picking up my next sushi fix from some other place. Dang.

This little hole in the wall shop is one of the highlights of cuisine in Woburn. Though a converted ice cream shop, the shop has put a lot, recently, into ongoing improvements. What the little shop lacks in décor and size, it makes up for in freshness and flavor. The food is very fresh, though the selections are pretty standard. I think the ownership has passed hands, and the new owners are working hard on making the café better than ever. We’ll see.

Very good sushi. A little bit disappointing that they don’t serve alcohol. Restaurants like this make me wish I could give half stars. It definitely deserves more than a 4, but it does not quite reach the 5-star level like Ginza in boston.

The sushi here is fantastic! We ordered a sushi boat for two. It came with 20 pieces of nigiri, and 2 rolls. It was more than enough food, and we were hungry when we arrived! The seaweed salad and miso soup are also delicious! One last thing of note: They let you bring your own sake, beer, or wine — and they’ll warm your sake for you!
